In this article you will find:

  • New Year's ideas crafts for children(to school or kindergarten).
  • Options table and home decor for the Red New Year.
  • Lots of red patterns. Christmas trees with their own hands.
  • Christmas decorations to decorate a red Christmas tree.

So, let's start creating this New Year with our own hands.

RED CHRISTMAS TREE

design ideas.

Well, first of all, we can buy a white Christmas tree... and make it red with balls and garlands. Add a red New Year's wreath, a few Santa Claus boots, and beautiful fake gift boxes tied with a scarlet ribbon to the interior.

If we found a RED ARTIFICIAL Christmas tree for sale, then it is better to decorate it with white toys. White and silver balls and a lot of snowflakes (both plastic and crochet). How to do knitted snowflakes I already told... How to make your own snowflakes out of plastic or glue read the dedicated article.

If your Christmas tree is green, then decorations will make it red, but it is better to dilute the red color with white and silver (this way there will be more air and light in - a too crimson Christmas tree looks hard).

FLAT RED CHRISTMAS on the wall.

I already have an article where I tell . And here I will show you some more red versions of such a flat Christmas tree.

You can make flat Christmas tree stickers on the wall. And if it's a pity to risk the wall, then on a sheet of plywood leaning against the wall. We buy a sheet of plywood, a can of acrylic white paint (it does not stink, it is washed off clothes with plain water and dries in 10-20 minutes on plywood). Painted the plywood White color- dried and pasted a Christmas tree stencil, which they bought in a store (for example, IKEA) ...

And if you do not have a ready-made adhesive stencil - that is, a CHEAPER OPTION.

Any hardware or hardware store sells interior adhesive film (rolls like wallpaper)… a meter of film costs $1. You buy 3 meters of red film and cut out figures from it. First, we draw the outlines of the Christmas tree with chalk on plywood - and then we will glue our figures according to these outlines - filling in the outline of the Christmas tree with these “puzzles”.

And you can create a Christmas tree in the interior and absolutely any items. For example, from Christmas balls, ribbons and boxes of matches wrapped in gift paper.

HERE'S HOW IT'S DONE. We buy double-sided tape, small light balls, matchboxes, a sheet of fancy paper(in the gift wrapping department) and golden twine. We wrap matchboxes in elegant pieces of paper and fasten and tie with twine (like cakes). On the wall with double-sided tape we fill-glue the triangular space. Peel off the second layer of tape and get a sticky triangle on the wall. Now we put red balls on this Velcro ... elegant boxes of matches ... and a ribbon. From above we bang a star (you can simply cut it out of cardboard).

Christmas tree from furniture modules

- in red and white.

And you can make New Year's Christmas tree on the wall from ordinary IKEA shelves (dark photo below) ... there are such short shelves. We nail them to the wall like a pyramid - three at the bottom, two in the middle and one at the top. We put New Year's equipment in red colors on the shelf - and our red Christmas tree is ready.

Or you can make a Christmas tree-shelf with your own hands from scraps of board (light photo below). We cut the dots into pieces and make them in the form of trapeziums and triangles, forming the silhouette of a Christmas tree. We fill the shelves with cute red things and you're done.

And it’s even easier to adapt a LADDER-STEP LADER for the role of a red Christmas tree. We install boards (of different lengths) on its crossbars. We arrange toys and candles, wrap everything with a garland with light bulbs and ... one, two, three, the Christmas tree is on fire!

Decorative red christmas tree

- from wire and red ribbons.

Here is such a Christmas tree (photo below) you can make in your yard. It's very simple. You need a BASE-PIN ... a wire spiral ... and a textile or oilcloth tape. Instead of a pin, you can use a SUPPORT steel post on your porch or shed.

We buy coil of steel, copper or aluminum wire. It is already sold in round skeins, which means that it is quite simple to make a round spiral out of it (you need so that each turn is slightly wider than the previous one). We fasten the end of the wire at the top of the column ... then we lay the turns - increasing their diameter to the bottom. Further sew two ribbons together(to get a double tape with a void inside - like a long pipe. We put this tubular tape on our wire... from its lower end we start and move the tape upwards in a spiral. The tape can be one-color or better two-color.

Also you can do beautiful table trees like these ones…

In a special article, I tell in detail and show the whole process of creating such red Christmas trees from materials that are in every home.

Even to create such a factory-made metal Christmas tree, you don’t need a drop of metal - but only plain cardboard. And in general, such a Christmas tree is a craft for middle group kindergarten(age 4-5 years) How, together with the teacher, to make such a Christmas tree out of cardboard, a stapler and tie ribbons in 30 minutes.

DIY RED CHRISTMAS WREATHS.

We can also support home christmas decor christmas wreath. And we will also make it to match the style of our red Christmas tree. Here are the most simple models such New Year's wreaths.

Model No. 1 A wreath of washcloth or tulle (photo of a wreath with a red bow below).

We all saw for sale (or use at home) such mesh bath washcloths. If you look at them carefully, you will notice that just such a washcloth is a cut off wide strip of mesh, which was crumpled with an accordion and strung on a rope(it turned out such a shaggy mesh ball that lathers well and holds foam. So, if we make a lot of such balls and string them on a wire ring, we will get fluffy RING-WREATH.

Naturally, we will not rush to buy white washcloths (it will probably be a little expensive). You can just buy mesh tulle (tulle, or organza) in fabric stores. Cut the material into wide strips. And these strips are strung or tied in a chaotic mess on a wire ring - the more tulle, the more magnificent it will turn out. And then add a few red balloons and red ribbon bows.

Model No. 2 Paper or fabric wreath (photo of a white wreath above).

Here you also need metal ring and more rags or pieces of paper cut into strips(the length of the strips is 10-15 cm). Every strip we tie a knot on a wire ring- a knot in the middle so that both ends of the tie are the same length. And the more such ties, the more magnificent the wreath comes out. Next, we decorate our Christmas wreath with cardboard appliqué or tinsel.

Model number 3. Wreath with real needles (see photo below).

This wreath is quite easy to make. You need a base ring, sprigs of needles, and threads.
The base ring can be purchased (from foam) - or its can be made from straw(as in the photo below). Or instead of straw, you can use newspaper cut into strips- also convenient. We cut such a newspaper straw - and we put the bundle after the bundle in a circle, tying it with twine.

When the ring-shaped base is ready, to it we begin to add already bunches of fir twigs or small paws of spruce needles. Also bandaging each paw strong threads or twine. Then you can decorate such a Christmas tree wreath with cones, a garland, beads, bows, balls and flowers.

And you can make a wreath without spruce legs (as in the photo above). Just cut willow twigs and twist them into a round braid, twist the branches in a semicircle and fix them in the direction of travel with twine or metal wire. This willow ring can be used as a TABLE WREATH to decorate a table and create a candle area. Candles can be placed in homemade apple candlesticks (we cut a hole in apples with a knife and insert candles).

A New Year's composition with candles can be decorated with animal figurines, Christmas decorations, a garland and holly branches. As we see in the photo below, a composition with candles can be made not within the framework of a Christmas wreath - just inside a pretty bowl.

SUSPENDED Christmas compositions with red candles.

And the new code in red style will be perfectly supported by large red candles designed as elegant chandelier. We need - frame (a metal ring with sides can be found on sale). And you can make a ring of their thick wire yourself, and make the sides of their willow wreath (made from willow twigs). We complement all this splendor with red Christmas tree decorations, gifts on red ribbons, pendants and beads.

And on such pendants-wreaths you can hang balls of thread. Like in the photo below...

WITTED decorations for the New Year.

Also, you can decorate New Year's interior such wickerwork. How to make these yourself woven balls of thread and glue I told in a special article. Come in and you will find many interesting ideas on what else you can do with these thread balls. They decorate the Christmas tree, make a garland with light bulbs inside, create a beautiful Christmas tree to decorate the table and more.

In the photo below we we see that balls of thread can become part of the New Year's PENDANT ... all hanging elements are attached with brackets to the base ball. The main ball is made from a children's ball.

First, ribbons for pendants were stuck on the ball with tape(put the edge of the ribbon on the surface of the ball and pressed it on top with adhesive tape) ... And then the whole ball is completely covered with glue and overlaid with pieces of finely chopped evergreen fir or arborvitae. In the same way, you can overlay the main ball with hay ... finely chopped paper, candy wrappers and any other tinsel.

Instead of glue, you can (and even more convenient and faster) use DOUBLE-SIDED TAPE... first we glue the surface of the ball with such double-sided adhesive tape - cut the tape into pieces and smooth it to different places ball. And then we remove the second layer from the tape to expose the Velcro ... and the ball becomes sticky it can be rolled in finely chopped colored paper interspersed with chopped candy wrappers or pages of glossy magazines, or natural material.

Or you can do this (as in the photo above) christmas wicker heart to decorate the interior for the red new year. Everything is done quite simply - frame frame + winding. In the market (in the repair department) we buy solid wire (to keep its shape, but also bend into male hands) and bend the shape of a heart from this wire - THIS WILL BE A FRAME.

And here you can buy white electrical wire (for winding the frame) ... Just tie the end of the wire to the frame ... and start wrapping the frame hearts in random order.
Except wire for winding you can use: white Knitting thread... a narrow textile tape, thin strips of white paper (take an A4 sheet and cut it in a spiral like a snail to get a long white peel, well, almost like we peel potatoes without lifting a knife. And then we put this paper, wrap it around the frame and into Fix in place with glue.

Toys for the NEW YEAR red Christmas tree

(do it yourself).

And of course, decorations for a red Christmas tree can be made with your own hands. Here are a few beautiful ideas on this topic.

Idea number 1 - the decor of purchased Christmas balls.

We buy red balloons, white lace and white acrylic paint (and you can also use white sparkling nail polish). Glue lace onto the ball. Open spaces glass ball cover with a pattern of white acrylic paint and until it dries immediately sprinkle with white nail powder (to sparkle).

Idea number 2 - paper decorations for the Red New Year.

Can do Christmas decorations from paper. For example, these flowers are made simply - roll off toilet paper flatten slightly ... and cut with scissors petals on tubules. Then back wall glue each such petal - and paint everything red.

And the bird is a silhouette made of cardboard - with a slit in the middle, into which an accordion fan made of red colored paper was inserted.

And even better to tinker and wind from paper strips many many QUILING MODULES different forms and collect lacy snowflakes from such modules. They can simply be hung on a Christmas tree ... or pasted on an old CD, or on the surface of a Christmas ball.

Idea number 3 - Red Christmas decorations KNITTED HOOK.

You can crochet Christmas decorations from red and white threads. It can be such a heart (we usually make it out of paper - and here is a variant of knitting.

Textile decor for the Red New Year.

Also for room decor in red new year style you can do it yourself stylish pillows. To do this, you need to sew special pillows on ordinary pillows. Christmas covers. They can lie in the closet all year round (without taking up much space) - and in the pre-New Year period they can quickly transform your room, creating a festive atmosphere.

Cover needs red fabric(according to the size of your pillow) ... And white cloth for applications. So that the edge of the cut-out white appliqué does not crumble with shreds of threads, you need to choose a FABRIC WITHOUT CUTTING. For this already in the store, look at the piece of fabric... rub the cut with your hand, stretch it (quietly from the seller) and check how the cut edge of the fabric behaves. If the selected fabric does not give an arrow ... does not fray, then it is suitable.

Usually fleece, felt, and some types of knitted fabric have such properties.(there is such a dense knitwear with impregnation or heat treatment, thanks to which there are no arrows that have gone on it, and creeping loops.

And scraps of fabric you can sew some cute New Year's boots. Such a boot can be hung over the fireplace, on the lower paws of the Christmas tree, just make a row of red felt boots over the back of the sofa.

And if you still have old skates, you can buy a can of red paint and silver paint (even a car spray paint will do - $ 3 costs) ... and paint these old skates in christmas colors. Decorate with pieces white fur, and instead of laces, put in an elegant braid. It turns out great decoration. And even with the old ordinary ankle boots on flat sole you can do this - turn them into decorative skates - cut out a dummy blade from cardboard and glue it to the sole.

Also, I found this picture on the internet. If you look closely, it immediately becomes clear how exactly you can make such gift wrapping with your own hands.

We buy in the store five-year buckets- 2 pieces. These will be our leg fillers. It is on the buckets that we will put Santa's pants on. We sew pants from red fleece with such a girth of the thigh that our bucket fits into the trouser leg. We cut off the bottom of the trousers with a strip of fur. On the drawstring of the panties we sew 4 simple straps - we thread a strip cut out of black leatherette into the straps - this will be the belt(we put a buckle into it).

We sew long straps on the edge of the drawstring- in order for the straps to stand with their handles up, a piece of metal wire must be sewn into them.

The process of creating a pattern and sewing is SIMPLE. For clarity, I even drew it for you.

wooden and paper decor for the Red New Year.

Such a wooden deer can be found on sale. And you can do it yourself if you have a jigsaw and a sheet of plywood.

And even if there is no jigsaw or plywood, you can make it with cardboard. Ordinary thick cardboard from boxes. You can even make a two-layer gluing of cardboard sheets - so that the material is thicker.

The details are very simple... LEGS - in the form of a curved boomerang ... BODY - an oval depressed from the sides, passing into the neck and head ... TAIL - an ovoid oval ... EARS - also an oval depressed from the sides ... HORN - their shape is clearly visible in the photo. All details are cut out of cardboard. Then they are filed in one place(like a slit like your skirt) - and the assembly of the deer is to put the INCUT of each part on the EDGE-RIB of the other part.

According to this fantasy-constructive principle in You can create other deer shapes.

CHRISTMAS ANGEL

from paper and an old Christmas ball.

An old Christmas ball with a broken pip-holder and a paper cone-bag CAN BE TURNED INTO AN ANGEL FIGURINE. Pasting paper cone pieces of crepe paper (sold in stationery, always in stock). We also glue the old Christmas ball with crepe white paper (we leave the hole in the ball open). Cut out cardboard wings, also glue crepe paper and decorate them with star stickers. We make a halo from the prolovka and beads. We assemble all the parts - we put the tip of the bag on a hole in the Christmas ball (for strength, you can insert a cocktail tube there). Glue on the wings. You can simply put a halo on a ball like a wreath or come up with a wire holder.

Around the angels, you can place such elegant lanterns with pill candles inside.

SNOWFLAKES - to decorate the Red New Year.

And also to decorate white and red New Year's table suitable decor in the form of snowflakes. They can be cut in large quantities from red colored paper and hung on the walls of the house - attached to curtains, strung on a string and placed above the fireplace, laid out on the paws of a white-red Christmas tree.

TABLE SERVING

for the Red New Year.

And now let's see how you can serve beautifully festive table to the New Year's Eve. Here are some beautiful ideas. Well if you have red crockery(as in the left photo below). But most of the time we get our regular white guest plates. Then the red serving attribute should be table textiles- tablecloths and napkins. But that doesn't mean that a simple, solid red tablecloth will suffice. You can use your usual white tablecloth - but sew long red tablecloths ... and lay them across the table - from your plate to the neighbor's plate opposite (see right photo below).

And if the tablecloth is red, then long table napkins should be white (as in the photo below). The plates are white. And under the bottom plate you can put a square red napkin (or a red plate of a larger diameter) - also a beautiful serving for the Red New Year.

Here's another idea of how decorate the New Year's table with red Christmas balls. They can be placed on high glass candle holders - and if you don’t have them, then they can be made with one hand movement - take glass on a high stem and simply turn it upside down.

And you can also lay red tinsel, beads and Christmas balls in a wide dish and put a transparent glass with a candle in the center.

You can also do glasses for paper napkins their red tall glasses, decorated with Santa Claus applique. You can make caric New Year's covers for bottles of wine.

And in the center of the New Year's table you can lay down beautiful candies - and not just in vases, but in a NEW YEAR'S ENGINE. Wash boxes for juice and milk, cut them off and glue them with red colored paper (you can immediately buy a ready-made adhesive film so that you don’t mess with glue). And we decorate trailers with white lace. Lace is better to buy ready-made textile in the store. Add wheels and rails made of cardboard.

And I also found interesting ideas how you can beautifully lay red napkins for the new year.

Idea one- this is to fold the napkin into a triangle and thread the corner of the napkin into the slot on the cardboard head of Dada Frost.

Idea two - fold a Christmas tree from a napkin. Detailed step by step photo instructions in the photo below.

BRIGHT DESSERT

for the Red table for the New Year.

You can also make beautiful cakes in the form of northern bear cubs. The recipe is suitable for any of those where we mix the finished biscuit with sticky crepe into a single mass. We form balls from this mass, wrap it in cling film, put it in a round plate and put it in the refrigerator - so that the cream freezes and the circle shape is fixed.

Next we take two biscuit-cream circles, coat them with white protein cream - stack on top of each other. And here it will help little secret- so that the bear's head does not fall - you must first stick a thick wooden skewer into the bottom biscuit (drown it halfway in the bottom round biscuit) - and carefully put the biscuit head on the protruding top.

Biscuit ears also strung on wooden skewers. The NOSE is a chocolate marshmallow. By the way, EARS and PAWS can not be baked separately like cupcakes - but use purchased marshmallows.

DRAWING of black heels and toes it is made either with droplets of melted chocolate bar ... Or with chocolate chips - freeze the chocolate bar in the freezer, take it out and chop it on a grater. Spread marshmallows for paws with sticky thick jam (large round Velcro ... and a few drops of Velcro around) - and sprinkle the sticky place with chocolate chips.

Also you can do Christmas red cookies - you will find a recipe for dough and colored icing in the article New Year's cookies - a recipe.

Fruit for the table can also be served in an interesting way.

For example, make a WATERMELON CHRISTMAS TREE - with a star carved from a pineapple.

Decorate red apples with carvings in the form of a star. And so that the cut of the pattern does not turn black, you need to grease it with a brush with lemon juice. And he stays white.

Here are some ideas for celebrating the Red New Year. I really hope that now you know exactly how to decorate your New Year's holiday in red. May you all succeed in this new year.
