Father Frost and Santa Claus

The first thing the New Year is associated with is Santa Claus. Every year, on the night from December 31 to January 1, the kindest old man in the world delivers gifts to children all over the world, which they are looking for under the New Year tree in the morning. We won’t go far for ideas, but let’s start our New Year’s crafts with Father Frost and Santa Claus.

#1 Santa Claus from a toilet roll and a plastic cup

A very cute Santa Claus will be made from a toilet roll and a plastic cup. In addition, you will need colored paper (red, black), cotton wool, a button, eyes, a nose and glue. See the picture for how to proceed next.

#2 Santa Claus box

#3 Stuck Santa

#5 Simple Santa Claus

This simple and very cute Santa Claus can also be made with children. The bushing itself needs to be painted red. While the sleeve is drying, cut out the hat, face, beard, eyes and nose (). When the sleeve is dry, glue the face to it and Santa Claus is ready!

Deer

Santa Claus, of course, does not walk around the world on foot. In one night, his faithful friends reindeer help him fly around the world. Therefore, we won’t go far for ideas, but we will make our grandfather deer helpers so that he can deliver gifts to all the children.

#1 Deer from a toilet paper cylinder

Then wind the wire onto the marker and the horns are ready. Now all that remains is to glue the eyes, nose and, if desired, decorate the deer with bells.

#4 Deer made of two bushings

But two bushings will make a deer of impressive size, especially considering that Santa Claus is made from one. The work is quite painstaking, but interesting. However, it is worth considering the age of the child. It won’t be interesting for very young children, but for children of primary school age - it’s the best!

#5 Another deer from two cylinders

New Year's ball on the Christmas tree

There are a lot of ideas for making toilet paper crafts with your own hands, but we will still highlight one of the simplest options that you can make in a fairly short time with your children. 3. After the entire product has dried, we need to attach an elegant rope to some part of it so that for the New Year 2020 our work can show off on the Christmas tree. The rope should be secured to the ball with a needle.
  4. To make your Christmas tree decoration look impressive, you need to decorate it with beads or other decorative elements of your choice.

Master class “We all really like the beautiful Christmas tree.” The wonderful transformation of toilet paper rolls

Dear friends, hello!

Today I bring to your attention a master class on making a spectacular Christmas tree.

When I brought the Christmas tree to work, even the harshest critics were surprised. The questions continued: What is the Christmas tree made of? Where did you get so many bushings? How long did it take to make? etc. The miraculous transformation of ordinary toilet paper rolls caused some bewilderment.

When I started doing the work, I had doubts; I had no idea how many bushings would be needed and whether I had enough of them in stock. It was easier with paper; if you need anything, you can buy it. All doubts were overcome by a great desire to make a big Christmas tree and bring joy to the children.

So let's get started.

Required materials and tools:

toilet paper rolls

Green crepe paper

Ceiling tiles

Knitting

Wire

Scissors

Stationery knife

PVA glue

Glue gun

To work, you will need toilet paper rolls. The bushings must be cut in half. I entrusted this part of the work to my husband.

Green crepe paper.

Cut the crepe paper lengthwise into 4 equal pieces. You should get strips about 12 cm wide.

Apply glue to the roll and carefully wrap it in crepe paper.

We leave a small piece of paper at one end of the roll, the other end is long so that you can make a tail to create an imitation of candy. We cut off excess paper each time with scissors.

Tie the long end with green knitting thread.

We will need quite a lot of these “semi-candies.”

For the base of the craft, we cut out a circle from cardboard from the packaging of household appliances.

Glue a cardboard circle onto the ceiling tile.

Cut out a circle with a utility knife.

Right now the most crucial moment of work begins. First, we will distribute 10 rolls exactly in a circle, use a glue gun, and fix them to the base. You need to work accurately, as hot glue does not tolerate miscalculations.

We place the second row of rolls between the rolls of the first row, fixing everything with a glue gun.

On the first evening, I covered, as it seemed to me, a sufficient number of rolls, but when I started collecting Christmas trees, there were only enough blanks for half the work. The paper packaging was also running low. I had to buy another roll of paper and start gluing the bushings again.

Up to row 7, each row has the same number of bushings, 10 pieces each.

The tree should go on a cone. Now you need to manage to connect the bushings, reducing each row by one 9 - 8, 7, 6, 5., and the last row of 4 bushings.

For the penultimate row, I shortened the bushings a little more.

For the last one I made very short rolls.

We make a snowflake on the top of the Christmas tree from wire and balls of foil.

Insert the snowflake into the full sleeve and secure with thread.

We insert the crown between the bushings of the penultimate row and fix 4 small blanks between ourselves and the crown. The width of the base of the Christmas tree is 40 cm, height is 75 cm.

A few hours of painstaking work and this is the result. The result pleased me.

A few more touches. The base of the craft is decorated with padding polyester and decorated with snowflakes.

The kids were absolutely delighted.

The Christmas tree came for the holiday,

Dressed up,

And there's a snowflake at the top

Sparkles and shines.

Happy New Year, dear friends!

Let January be a silvery powder

Will ruin any trouble.

We wish everyone only the best

In the coming New Year!

Publications on the topic:

Goal: To consolidate knowledge of primary colors: red, blue, green, yellow. Develop artistic perception. Develop the ability to work.

Summary of the lesson on the surrounding world “All the children like the beautiful Christmas tree” in the second junior group Program tasks: learn to name the characteristic features of spruce (prickly needles, green color of needles). Lead children to the conclusion that needles.

Soon, soon the New Year is coming and my kids and I decided to start decorating the group. To do this, I decided to make a collective applique with them.

Dear colleagues, I present to your attention a master class “New Year's mood”. Here you will see how you can use toilet bushings.

Plasticine applique made from flagella “Herringbone-Beauty” Materials: - Template - Wax plasticine (soft) in green and red colors.

Sometimes we have more creative materials at home than in any specialty store. Often in everyday life we use accessories that leave paper or cardboard waste, using which you can significantly save on the purchase of raw materials and, at the same time, participate in waste recycling.

For example, toilet paper rolls, which should not be thrown away hastily, but when they accumulate, there will be many ways to use the tubes in business. We tried to highlight the best ideas for toilet roll crafts.

Animals

By combining pieces of tubes at different angles, twigs and, for example, felt, it is interesting to create different creatures. Thus, after several crafts, a whole zoo will appear from the bushings at home.

Elephant

We cut out a rectangle of paper with a width equal to two tubes attached to each other, and a little more than two in length. We attach two tubes to one side of the rectangle by the ends and attach them in the same way to the other side. You should get a body and four tube legs standing vertically.

We glue the head-tube to the edge of the body perpendicular to the legs. We cut out two circles and a strip from paper, glue the circles to the back of the head, slightly wrapping the tube around the circumference, and glue the strip in the middle of the head - this is the trunk.

Above the trunk we attach eyes for toys that are sold in sewing stores or that we make ourselves. We attach three semicircles on the front of each to the ends of the elephant's paws.

Owl

Paint the tube in the desired color. After drying, press with your finger from one edge to the middle, then also from the opposite, so that you get pointed ears.

From paper we cut out circles for the eyes (two large white ones, two small black ones) and for the breast (several circles slightly smaller than the eyes), wings to match the sleeve and a triangular beak.

Using glue, we attach the circles to the sleeve in the order of the scales, glue the eyes and beak. For these parts, you can use 3D felt, corrugated or velvet paper.

Bunny

We cut the tube so that we get nine rings. We smooth out one ring after cutting and leave it for the body, we slightly pinch the other on one side, making it like a heart, and glue it to the body with a rounded part, this will be the bunny’s head.

Now we make a full-fledged heart from one ring, bringing the two ends of the two circles deep into the center. We fasten it inside the head closer to the connection with the body.

Then we turn the next ring into the letter “c” and glue it to the body with a straight line from below the head, we get the front legs. We make the other two rings identical, cut the circle on one side and, breaking it, bend it towards the inside, making small and large petals. These are the two hind legs and we will attach them to the sides of the body.

To make ears, we pinch part of the circle inward at two rings and attach it to the head. All that remains is to glue the fluffy nose to the inverted heart inside the head and to the nose a pair of felt eyes.

Taking this idea as a basis, you can conduct master classes on crafts from toilet rolls in children's institutions.

Organizer

This functional use of bushings will be useful for needlewomen, artists and all those who love order and neatness in the workplace, as well as those who are interested in how to make a craft from a toilet bushing with their own hands.

To make a container, you will need several sleeves of different sizes (for example, from paper towels, toilet paper, twine), but of high strength, a pallet (this can be a board, a lid from a cardboard or tin box, or an unnecessary ceramic plate), superglue or a hot glue gun, design items.

First, glue the bushings together so that on one side they are at the same level. We strengthen the connection on the base. We paint with a spray can or regular paint.

It was possible to pre-cover all the bushings and the base separately with a beautiful fabric. After attaching all the parts, we decorate the edges of the sleeves with beads, stones, bias tape or lace.

Decorative panel

Thinking about what other crafts can be made from bushings, ideas that come to mind are primarily of a decorative nature. Such a craft can serve as a frame for a mirror, a frame for a picture or photo, or hang and decorate the house as an independent element.

We will need to cut a lot of bushings into rings. You can pinch them in the form of droplets, eyes, leave them round, or cut them and make curls.

The panel can consist of monotonous parts glued together in a circle or of combined different elements; it can be glued in order or chaotically.

After gluing together and drying, the panels can be spray-painted in one color, or, if you want a mosaic effect, you can pre-paint each element in a certain color and then glue it together.

It would also be a good idea to supplement the panel with twigs, twine, woolen threads, and flowers. In addition, this panel can easily be turned into a useful and designer item - a lampshade, a vase or a base for a wall clock.

Caring for birds

This is a very good solution for the winter holidays, which will definitely use your time usefully. Just take the sleeve, clean it of paper and glue, coat it with peanut butter or honey, and then roll it in a plate with grains, seeds, corn, or in a pre-purchased mixture for birds.

We hang the finished feeder on a rope or simply string it on a branch. Birds will be happy with such yummy food in the winter cold.
