Greetings, friends! Today we again continue the theme of creating a New Year's atmosphere by cutting out products self made from paper. That is, we will talk about again.
In this post you can find silhouettes of fairy-tale characters, the main characters of Father Frost and the Snow Maiden, snowmen, deer, balls, snowflakes and much more. You will see ready-made window design options, and you will also be able to download and print the proposed stencils and templates. And then carefully cut them out and stick them on the windows, or decorate other corners of your interior.
But remember that window decoration is an integral part magical holiday New Year. You can decorate only glass with paper protrusions, or you can create an entire composition using a window sill. Use large clippings to decorate walls in rooms.
If you have very little time to create a festive interior, then cut a lot of carved ones and paste them all over the house.
So, in order to make the windows festive, use plain paper, preferably not only white, but also other colors. Also stock up on sharp thin scissors, or better yet, a sharp stationery knife, and materials for sticking decorations (toothpaste, double-sided tape, soap solution).
After you have prepared all the necessary tools and materials, you will need to choose paper decorations. In our case, these will be flat accessories for gluing to the glass surface, since there are also volumetric elements.
The size, shape and color of the products will depend on the area of the room, the level of illumination and the size of the window itself. The main thing is that the decorations do not interfere with the free passage of light into the room, and the rest depends only on your imagination.
After determining the plot for the New Year's window, start creating stencils. If you know how to draw well, then you can come up with templates yourself, but if you have limited artistic skills and imagination, then take ready-made patterns, print them on paper, and then start cutting them out.
This traditional paper decor It won’t take much time and won’t require any special skills, but it will help you create a real pattern and will impress not only you, but also those around you.
An abundance of accessories is only appropriate on a large window, so don’t overdo it! And try to choose openwork decorations.
After cutting out the decorations, decide on their placement on the glass. You can use symmetrical, central or asymmetrical placement.
Well, then choose a method for attaching the decorations and, in fact, glue them. This is how you can decorate a window quickly and easily.
Now I suggest you watch a video about how to correctly cut out accessories for decoration.
Well, samples of New Year's window design.
Well, let's get down to choosing and creating flat paper toys. To begin with, the most popular characters are Father Frost and Snow Maiden.
Of course, don’t forget about funny snowmen.
You may also need an image.
And don’t leave your loved ones aside.
Even from these elements you can already create fairy tale on the window.
I want to say that many flat accessories can be cut not only according to a template, but also according to a symmetrical pattern. This applies, for example, to Christmas decorations.
More great ideas There will be backlit cutouts. Just glue translucent paper, such as tracing paper, to the inside and carefully pull a small garland (one of the lights) through it. It will look something like this:
So keep a bunch of different stencils with balls, bells, cones, numbers, animals, etc.
Don't forget about the symbol of the upcoming New Year 2020 - mischievous little mice.
Pigs from last year.
And I want to do it separately thematic selection paper decorations for educational institutions. After all, our children rejoice most of all at the coming of the holiday. So schools and kindergartens should not only organize matinees, but also magically decorate the premises.
I hope that with the help of the vytynankas I have proposed, you will be able to create an unforgettable and wonderful atmosphere in your home. Involve children and the whole family in creativity. Let there be a holiday in every home! With coming!
Window decor will help create a festive mood in your home for the New Year. Glass decorated openwork snowflakes, “frosty” patterns made of artificial snow and figurines of loved ones New Year's characters, will allow you to feel the atmosphere of the upcoming celebration, even if there are puddles and slush on the street instead of fluffy snow.
In addition, making window decorations is great way spend time with children and loved ones.
The easiest way decorate the window for the New Year 2017– stick cut out snowflakes on its glass. Despite the simplicity of this method, it always justifies itself: light translucent snowflakes look very festive, creating Christmas mood.
It is best to make such products of different sizes and shapes, then they will look more interesting. It is convenient to glue them with soap, for which it is enough to lightly grease one side of the snowflake with a soap solution and apply it to the glass.
To decorate a window, it is convenient to use artificial snow in an aerosol and with images. New Year's motives. To do this, you need to attach the stencil to the glass and spray snow evenly onto it. The result is Nice picture, which will delight you for a long time appearance. You can buy stencils in a store or make your own by cutting out the desired image on thick paper.
Look beautiful on window glass and patterns drawn with regular white toothpaste. Drawings can be made by evenly squeezing the contents of the tube onto a glass surface in a thin layer. Another way is to apply the paste to the window using a sponge or piece of foam rubber, and when it hardens slightly, draw an image with a wooden stick.
Decorating a window with paper snowflakes seems easy, but not everyone knows how to cut them out correctly. The whole secret of making such a decoration lies in the ability to correctly fold a sheet of paper, but the pattern of the future snowflake depends entirely on the imagination of its creator.
So, to make a snowflake, you will need;
Step 1. First you need to create a blank. Cut a square from a standard A4 sheet.
Step 2. We fold the resulting square diagonally to form a triangle, which we then fold in half again.
Step 3. We place the triangle at a right angle to ourselves and alternately bend its right left side inward so that the fold line is exactly in the center of the top.
Step 4. Cut off the protruding corners.
The resulting part is the required blank. You need to draw a sketch of the future snowflake on it with a pencil, cut out the pattern with sharp scissors and lay out the resulting product - the decoration is ready.
In this case you can use ready-made templates patterns or create your own. In any case, the snowflake will turn out to be openwork, symmetrical and very beautiful.
Patterns drawn on glass with toothpaste look very festive and are in no way inferior to those created from expensive artificial snow. The advantage of this method is not only its accessibility, but also that such designs are easily washed off. Another plus is that you can trust children to paint windows, since such “paint” is safe.
To create an image of flying snowflakes on window glass you will need:
Step 1. Lightly moisten the snowflake with water and glue it onto the glass.
Step 2. We do not dilute in a container a large number of pasta and water.
Step 3. We wet the brush in the resulting solution, bring it to the window and run your finger along the bristles so that the splashes fall on the glass and the snowflake. Spray the paste evenly onto the stencil.
Step 4. After the spray has dried a little, carefully remove the paper stencil from the glass by pulling the edge. A “negative” snowflake will remain on the window.
In this way you can create the most different drawings using special purchased or homemade stencils.
When decorating windows for the holiday, do not forget about window sills and cornices. With a little imagination, you can turn these usually inconspicuous areas into the focal point of your New Year's decor. And for this you don’t have to buy at all expensive compositions and decorations, because everything is easy to make yourself from materials available in the house.
You can decorate your windowsill with New Year’s “pots”: flower pots fill with cones and branches of pine needles, attach small Christmas tree decorations to them. This composition can be successfully complemented by a small figurine of Santa Claus, a snowman or, for example, a bunny.
Trays with candles on them, surrounded by pine cones, bunches of rowan berries, spruce branches and various New Year's attributes, also look very beautiful on window sills.
To make the window look even more festive, you can hang Christmas tree decorations on the cornice using ribbons or tinsel. It is better to attach decorations at different heights, then they will look original. You can decorate the window not only with toys, but also with small wreaths made of spruce or pine branches.
A real find for creating New Year's decorations the spray paint will become silver or golden color. Using it, you can easily turn ordinary cones, berries, wreaths from branches or any other objects into bright and stylish decorative elements.
By giving free rein to your imagination and creativity, you can decorate any room in an unusual way and create a real New Year’s mood. Even simple paper snowflakes on glass can transform a home, reminding you that a celebration is just around the corner. Don’t be afraid to experiment and create, and then the holiday will reign in the house for a long time.

In every house or apartment, they take out boxes from the mezzanine, hang them, place them on shelves and installations, and a day or two before the holiday, they solemnly install a beautiful Christmas tree. In addition, such decor will give you the most pleasant sensations and increase your mood during the winter holidays.
Naturally, in store windows you will find a huge amount of New Year's paraphernalia, but in Lately It is fashionable to decorate a house with items that the owners made with their own hands. And so that you don’t rack your brains when choosing New Year’s decor, we have selected the most original ideas and master classes on using stickers, creating window paintings, making protrusions and garlands from the simplest materials!
The older generation remembers very well that during periods of Soviet shortages, toothpaste was the main tool for creating New Year's decor. It was used to paint not only apartment windows, but also the windows of schools or kindergartens, involving children in this fascinating process. It is worth noting that toothpaste is universal art material, which allows you to create several types of painting at once - both ornamental and negative.
In the second type of painting, the drawing is similar to the image of a photographic film, that is, it is the dark, unpainted places that become the accent. By the way, this is the simplest type of painting that even a child can easily handle. Be sure to involve the kids in the process of creating fabulous pictures on the windows! Another positive point is that after the celebrations are over, you can easily clean the windows from the pattern by simply wiping the glass with a wet cloth. Before you get started, you need to prepare:
If you have at least minimal artistic skills, you can paint the window by hand, but for this purpose you will first have to make yourself a brush. To do this, twist the foam rubber into a tube and wrap it with a piece of tape. It’s better to make a couple of brushes with different diameters in order to paint both large and small parts. Squeeze the paste onto a plate, dip the brush and paint spruce branches, snowmen, Christmas balls and serpentine.
When the paste has dried, take an orange manicure stick or toothpick and scratch small details - dots or stars on balls, eyes on snowmen or needles on spruce paws. Using the same principle, you can create window paintings painted with gouache paints or artificial snow from a spray can.
A snowy winter with soft fluffy snowdrifts is the dream of most children and adults. After all, it’s so nice to go sledding, build a snowman, have a snow fight, or go for a walk in the forest! Unfortunately, not every New Year brings us snow, and slush spoils the entire holiday experience. However, you can create a snow whirlwind at home. To do this, you need to decorate the windows with unusual stickers made from PVA glue.
Who would have thought that such simple material Can an unusual decor be created? During the day, while it is light outside, the snowflakes seem almost transparent and do not interfere with the view. But in the evening, when it falls on the window Moonlight or the rays of lanterns, it sparkles like real frost! By the way, this decoration can last for more than one year - just carefully remove the snowflakes, line them with paper, put them in a box and send them to a dry place until the next New Year. Of course you can use ready-made stickers, having bought them in the store. However, now in every city there are copy centers that provide the service of printing drawings on self-adhesive paper. You can simply download the drawing at good quality, and then take it to print.
Don't worry about not being able to rid your windows of decorations after the holidays are over! Just warm up the sticker with a stream of warm air from a hairdryer, remove it, and then wipe the area with a cotton swab dipped in nail polish remover. If you are afraid of the “old-fashioned” methods, then just buy it in the store stationery sticker remover solution, and then wash the greasy area with soap or glass cleaner.
We always associate candles with warmth and comfort, so they are perfect for creating festive mood. Of course, it is absolutely impossible to describe all types of candle decor. Fortunately, once you understand the basic principle, you can easily create on your own. So, you will need:
Tablet candles can be placed in glass cups with fragments of small twigs at the bottom. Fill the containers with water and carefully lower the candle - and the candlestick is ready!
