Braids made of beads and beads. Bracelet made of beaded braids "blue of the sea"

Other celebrations

Bead weaving is not just a craft, but an art and a science at the same time. It is not easy for a beginner to master some techniques for working with this material. At the same time, beaded jewelry is one of the most spectacular, expressive, and invariably eye-catching.
Today we will make a bracelet from beads and beautiful accessories for jewelry. To create it, you don’t need to painstakingly assemble the product one bead at a time over several evenings. We will simply string the threads and then weave them in different ways. The result will pleasantly surprise you!

Let’s take the most “eternal” theme - the sea... What could be more beautiful than blue waves playing in the bright sun, fresh splashes of crystal water, white surf! We will put all this together when we come up with our bracelet. The sea is changeable and multifaceted, and the shades of colors that it gives us are endless. The main thing in this decoration is the play of color.

For work, let's take not just different shades of beads - let them also be of different sizes, shapes, textures and shine. In total, we will need about a dozen different varieties, which in total make up the pearlescent blue color scheme of the future bracelet. You can also add a thread of light golden color - it will remind you of the cheerful reflections of the sun dancing across the waves. The fittings for this decoration need, of course, silver.
Let's start creating!

For accessories for jewelry we will need:
- beads 7-12 different varieties, a little of each, approximately 3-6 grams;
- 6 small faceted transparent glass beads;
- nylon monofilament;
- clasp for bracelet;
- 6 small cone hats;
- 6 calottes;
- 2 rings with a diameter of 5 mm (all fittings, we remind you, are silver);
- bead needle;
- second glue;
- sharp small scissors;
- round nose pliers.

Stages of work.
In order to weave a bracelet, we first string the beads onto separate pieces of thread. Don't forget to leave 5-7 centimeters of free ends on both sides. The length of the beaded strings should be about a quarter longer than the length of the future product, because they will then be woven into a braid or twisted and become shorter due to the bends. In total, you need to make 15 of them, all of the same length.

We tie the first bead with a loop of thread so that it does not slip.

What is good about monofilament is that despite its thinness, it is very strong and flexible, and even with a simple bend it holds the shape that was given to it and does not allow either the needle or the bead to slip off. Fishing line, which is often used by many needlewomen, in this sense is very different in properties, although it looks almost the same. Working with monofilament is immeasurably easier.

Having strung the beads to the required length, we make a loop again, this time around the last bead. We press it close to the neighboring ones. There is no need to tie strong knots yet - this is a temporary fastening, and it will be easy to remove it if you need to add or remove a little beads on some thread during the final assembly of the bracelet.

Now we very carefully collect the ends of the 5 finished threads together - so that all the first beads are on the same level. You can grab the bunch with an elastic band so that they don’t move or fall.

Thread the free parts of the threads into the hole of the cone cap so that all five ends with the outer beads fit tightly into it. If its diameter is not enough or, on the contrary, it is too large, then for models such as in the photo, you can slightly press the “petals” to the sides or inward using pliers.

Next, put on a small faceted glass bead and thread the tails of the threads into the hole of the calotte. Tie them into a tight knot so that the base of the calotte fits closely to the bead (and that to the cone) and does not dangle. To prevent a bundle of threads with a knot from accidentally slipping back, you can include a small bead in it by placing it on one of the threads.

Fill the knot with glue. Once dry, trim off any excess ends and pinch the calotte with pliers. Process the second end of the bundle of threads in the same way, and then make two more similar pieces from the remaining 10 threads.

We thread the calotte ears from all three blanks into a ring and put a loop of one of the parts of the clasp there. We clamp the ring with round nose pliers.

Now we begin to braid the beaded braid (or twist it, or both). The final appearance of the product will depend on the method you choose (or come up with your own?). We will show several options in the photo.

For this decoration you need to take:

— Blue beads No. 12
— Thread or fishing line
— Clasps
— Accessories: metal openwork caps

Step-by-step visual photos of weaving:

1. We string beads onto a fishing line approximately 65-70cm long; in total we need 12 identical threads with beads. The necklace will be 45-50 cm (including clasps).

2. Divide 12 threads into 4 parts of 3 threads each and begin to weave a “Pigtail”.

3. We start with the outermost beam, go over the next one, then under and over again (see photo 3 above).

4. Then we take the next beam and also pass over the next beam, then under it and turn around. Repeat braiding until you run out of threads.

5. Fastening fasteners. After weaving, we tie several strong knots so that the necklace does not unravel, we cut off all the fishing lines except one, we need it to attach the lock.

6. We string a cap through the fishing line (to cover our knots), thread it through the clasp, make a knot on the clasp and return it back to the cap. We pass it through several beads on the necklace and tie 2-3 knots.

The “Two-color braid” bead necklace, which we suggest making in this step-by-step master class, is very simple to make, does not require much time, and looks great in any color scheme. And there is not much money spent on materials.

Tools and materials Time: 3 hours Difficulty: 2/10

  • beads (we will use two colors, but the possibilities are endless);
  • fishing line or waxed thread for beads;
  • 2 silver cone caps;
  • 2 silver jewelry rings;
  • silver lobster clasp;
  • transparent quick-drying glue;
  • 2 jewelry pins with heads;
  • scissors;
  • pliers;
  • scotch;
  • bead needle.

To create the Two-Color Braid beaded necklace, gray and turquoise beads were used, but a combination of gold and coral, white and mint colors looks no less magnificent. In general, feel free to experiment with the spring palette.

Materials and tools:

Step-by-step instruction

Step 1: string beads

We measure 12 pieces of fishing line or waxed thread 75 cm long and string beads onto them using a beading needle. You should end up with six strands of beads of each chosen color. Even if you managed to buy beads already assembled on threads, it is better to replace them, since, as a rule, they are very fragile.

Step 2: lay out the lows

Next, we lay out the threads with beads on the work table so that they alternate as follows: 3 turquoise threads, 3 gray, 3 turquoise threads, 3 gray. We attach the edges of the threads to the table with a piece of tape so that they do not get tangled or move during the process.

Step 3: Weave a braid from low

We start work on the right and move to the left. We take the first group of three turquoise threads, lay it at an angle on top of the second gray group and stretch it under the third turquoise group, after which we lay it on the fourth gray group, as shown in the photo.

Now we repeat similar steps from left to right, starting with a group of threads with gray beads. We repeat the weaving algorithm until the required length of the necklace is reached.

Step 4: tie the threads

After the required length of the necklace has been woven, we tie all the threads with beads tightly together into one bundle, wrapping several turns of thread or fishing line around them.

Step 5: Cut off the excess

We carefully cut off the excess ends of the threads collected in a bundle and tie them into a knot, and remove all the beads remaining above the place where the bundle was tied.

Step 6: Put on the caps

Step 7: Attaching the Tips

Lubricate the bundles of threads along the edges of the necklace with plenty of glue and insert them into the cones, pressing them tightly against their walls and base. Let the glue dry well for an hour.

Bright spring beaded necklace Two-color braid is ready! It will decorate any outfit.

The oldest fashion is probably the fashion for jewelry. And in this sense, a beaded necklace can be considered the main piece of decor at all times, because it looks great with any outfit and suits any style of clothing. I want to offer you one of the options for this decoration - a large necklace with interlacing, which is not difficult to weave, but it looks very graceful, fashionable and elegant.

Beaded necklace

We will weave a beaded necklace using a simple French braid weaving of 4 elements. Don't know what it is? I'll tell you now.

In fact, the birthplace of this weaving technique is Central Africa, Algeria. It was there that, back in ancient times, ancient people braided their hair in such a way that it would not interfere with them either in hunting or in everyday life. This is evidenced by rock paintings found by one of the expeditions in the Sahara Desert on the Tassilien-Adjer plateau.

Well, why French? In the 19th century, Algeria was colonized by France, which, among other things, added new “glamorous” trends to Parisian fashion. The latter borrowed not only bright colors and the original cut of clothes, but also new hairstyles with intricate weaving. It was in Parisian hairdressing that this hair braiding technique was first used and it was called the “French braid”.

In the modern creative world, this method is used in many handicraft processes - beading, weaving from rubber bands, making from stripes, etc.

We make a necklace with our own hands

We will be weaving a necklace, not a necklace, which is often confused by beginning needlewomen. Briefly, how they differ:

Necklace– neck decoration with a pronounced front part;

Necklace- also a decoration for the neck, but with the same type of weaving without fancy embellishments.

So, in order to make such a necklace, we need:

  • a package of beads (preferably one large one, but you can take 2 or 4 different colors);
  • a skein of thin but strong fishing line;
  • a thin needle intended for beads (preferably two);
  • bead huggers;
  • necklace clasp;
  • nail scissors.

First, we must string the beads onto the fishing line using a thin needle, without cutting the fishing line from the skein. You need to string a thread of such length that when divided by 8 you get equal parts. 480 centimeters of thread with beads is enough, based on the fact that the necklace should not be too short.

The next step is to divide the thread into 8 identical segments, each of which is 60 centimeters. In order not to lose the beads after cutting the thread, the ends of each thread must be secured by threading the end piece of fishing line through the last bead. There is no need to completely tighten the resulting threads. All beads should move a little along the length of the segment. This will give a little freedom when weaving our braid. I mean French... :)

Then all the ends of the threads on one side of all the segments need to be threaded into one of the huggers, tied immediately after it, fastening them together.

Now we divide all the threads into 4 parts, 2 pieces each. in each.

Next, we place the second on the third and draw it under the fourth and over the first. Then we place the third on the fourth and draw it under the first and over the second, etc. Repeat all the steps further until the braid is braided to the end of the threads.

The final stage of weaving a beaded necklace

Let’s finish weaving an interesting beaded necklace and give it a complete look. Next you need to put on the second bead hugger, on the other side. Just like we did at the initial stage.

Now we string the bead onto the fishing line, set the tip on fire and quickly extinguish the set fire line. The melted thread should be shaped while it is still soft enough. We do the same on the other side.

Then we will thread the fishing line into the needle, set it on fire and crumple its tip so that it does not jump out of the eye. Next, we will stretch the thread under the hugger through the bead and bring it out through the hole in the bead. We will do the same on the second side of the necklace.

Then we collect approximately another 15-17 centimeters of beads on each side.

After this, we secure the fastener by making fastenings and removing the ends of the fishing line.

Do you like how it turned out? This is your beaded necklace that you made with your own hands. Now it will add to your collection of unique jewelry.

I reserve the most “delicious” and beautiful master classes for my subscribers; they are available only to them. But today I’m ready to show all my readers one of the “closed” lessons - photos. Try making these jewelry with your own hands and your jewelry box will be filled with good mood and amazing original handmade treasures.

One of the most beautiful necklaces is a necklace. It makes any outfit look festive and elegant. Jewelry made from precious metals and stones looks great. Incredibly beautiful and charming beaded necklaces will be a worthy replacement for such jewelry. There are a lot of design options, colors and weaving techniques. They look elegant and sophisticated. How to make a beaded necklace is described in this article. With its help, every needlewoman will be able to weave a charming decoration for herself.

Simple weaving option

It will be quite easy to make a beautiful necklace using one of the simple weaving methods. A braid is very easy to do. Even a beginner can weave it. These necklaces are interesting and suitable as an everyday addition to your wardrobe. For beginning needlewomen, this type of beadwork is perfect.

A master class with step-by-step photos and descriptions will help you weave an unusual braid. This necklace looks very stylish and will suit any outfit.

The braid will be two-color, so we choose two colors of beads. You can string the beads on a fishing line or on a special waxed thread. It is convenient to string with a beading needle.

For ease of weaving, you should use tape and fix it with special pins with heads.

The clasp will consist of two rings, two conical caps and a carabiner. To attach the fastener you will need transparent glue and pliers. You also need to prepare scissors.

We measure twelve threads at 75 cm. We string beads on them, six strands of each of two colors.

We lay out the colors, alternating three threads of different colors. We attach the bases of the threads to the surface of the table with tape and begin weaving.

We place the rightmost three threads of one color on top of three threads of a different color. Then we pass them under three threads of the same color and put them on top of a group of threads of a different color. Now we do the same with the leftmost three lows.

In this way we braid the braid to the desired length of the necklace.

Now you need to tie all the threads in a knot very tightly. As the groups are low, so is everyone together. If the beads are not left on the ends of the threads, then remove them and cut the threads evenly.

Apply glue to the ends of the threads and insert them into the cones. There should be enough glue so that the caps are well fixed. Let the glue dry until the threads are securely glued to them.

A wonderful necklace is ready.

Necklace made of rope

Beautiful decorations are made from a rope. Bright and delicate strands can complement your everyday wardrobe. Such necklaces look great either as a simple braid or as a braid-shaped necklace made from it.

The infinity necklace made from rope looks incredibly stylish and original. Both the usual weave of strands and the more ornate ones look beautiful.

Making a crochet tourniquet is quite difficult. This work is painstaking and requires attention and time, but the result is worth the effort. For knitting you will need thin threads and a hook. It is better to learn using multi-colored beads.

Beads are strung on a thread in the sequence shown in the diagram. They begin to weave a tourniquet with air loops. The simplest option will consist of six loops. After each loop we move a bead. After knitting all six loops, we connect them into a ring as shown in the photo.

We knit the next row according to the same pattern. We pass the hook between the beads and grab the thread. Pull the thread and make a loop. We move the bead to this loop. We do the same with the next loops.

We knit all the rows in the same way.

To understand the sequence of stringing beads, you need to learn to read diagrams. Let's look at three different schemes as an example. The number of beads is indicated at the top. There are six in the first diagram, fifteen in the second, and twenty-five in the third.

The set of beads per thread is indicated in the right column. The number of beads is indicated next to each color. The more complex the pattern, the greater the number of columns. Each column indicates the required quantity and order of stringing beads to knit one stitch.

The tourniquet can be made without fasteners. To make it continuous, you need to learn how to sew its edges. The picture shows very clearly how to do this.

For a beautiful, neat pattern, you need to start and end the harness with fully knitted pattern reports. Then the drawing will be continuous.

Bright ornament

Necklaces woven in Ukrainian style are very bright and beautiful. These necklaces will add color to your look. This detail will attract attention with its beauty and richness of color.

Such wonderful necklaces can be woven not only with a rope, but also using other techniques. And if you add bright red flowers made of foamiran and felt, then such a wonderful decoration will have no equal in beauty.

Magnificent decorations are obtained with the image of a winter ornament. Shiny sparkling necklaces with snowflakes and bullfinches look elegant and are perfect for winter outfits.

For special occasions

Openwork and delicate necklaces are obtained by weaving using the wave technique. This decoration will look great with evening dresses. The weaving method allows you to create waves not only from beads, but also from bugles.

The weaving pattern in the photo below will help you make waves from beads.

Necklaces woven using the zigzag technique look incredible. Weaving such a decoration is not very difficult. With the right combination of bead colors and adding different beads and stones, the necklace will turn out very beautiful.
