Probably the most popular option in this regard is a do-it-yourself ball of thread. How to make this Christmas decoration so that it turns out to be original, beautiful and just stylish?

DIY New Year's toys from threads

Shiny Ball #1

To work on this craft, you need balloons, PVA glue, as well as white thread, sparkles and water, a plate in order to pour glue into it. Glue must be diluted with a little water. If during the process the glue starts to run out, then add water to it. Decorate both the Christmas tree and the room.

Inflate the balloons to the size you want to end up with. The creation of this craft from threads begins with the fact that you will need to tie a white thread to the tail of the inflated balloon and start wrapping the balloon with thread. Then dip this blank into a bowl of glue diluted with water.

Be sure to rotate the craft so that the glue soaks the threads on each side. Before the ball dries, additionally sprinkle liberally on each side with glitter. Hang the craft to the surface until completely dry. The New Year's toy will be completely ready after the ball is specially burst inside and pulled out of the blank.

Ball #2

In many ways, the first and second New Year's crafts are similar, but there are differences already in the final version. To work, you will also need balloons, as well as dense threads (in the first version of the craft, the threads could be ordinary), PVA glue, a glass for glue, a thick needle and scissors.

Inflate the balloon, getting the size you want to see as a result of your craft. Tie tightly so that the workpiece does not let air through. Now pierce a plastic cup with a needle into which a thread has already been threaded. Pour PVA glue into a glass, diluting it with a little water.

Pulling the thread through a glass of glue, wind it around the ball in a chaotic manner. When the whole ball is wrapped, leave a small tail and cut the thread. Leave to dry in a vertical position for a day. When the glue is completely dry, pierce the ball inside and get it out.

Advice! Additionally, this ball of threads can be decorated with snowflakes, sparkles, beads or beads, Christmas tree tinsel.

Gift packaging

The photo shows that Christmas decorations can be not only excellent products in themselves, but also an addition. For example, an item made in this way will be a great addition to gift wrapping.

To work, you will need a ball, a ball of thread, acrylic paint with a brush, glue. You will also need a screwdriver, scissors, a long piece of satin ribbon. Traditionally, inflate the balloon and wrap it tightly with thread. Fix the thread with glue only in some places, so that in the end it does not move out. It is extremely important to wrap the ball so tightly that nothing can be seen through the threads. Then cover the threads with a thin layer of glue.

Apply acrylic paint to the threads using a brush. Remember that the paint here not only gives color, it also additionally holds the threads together, so you should not feel sorry for it. Hang the balloon overnight to dry well. Then carefully pull out the balloon itself from the cocoon. Next, cut the cocoon into two parts, make symmetrical holes on both sides with a screwdriver. Now put a gift inside, and then fasten the two parts of the ball, tie a beautiful satin bow around the circumference. How to do

- do not leave a needle on the working surface of the table;
- at the end of the work, remove the needle in a special box.

Useful tips are underlined.

Step by step process:
1. To make a Christmas tree, you need to roll a sheet of cardboard into a cone. The size of your Christmas tree will depend on the size of the cone. We will fix it with tape (help is needed here). This must be done in order for the cone to hold its shape.

2. Now carefully cut the lower part of the cone in a circle so that our future Christmas tree is stable.

3. At the bottom of the cone, you need to make cuts every one and a half to two centimeters. This is necessary so that you can then pull the thread in different directions.

4. Wrap the resulting cone with cling film. If this is not done, then at the end of the work it will be quite difficult to remove it.

5.Now we will thread the cotton thread into a large needle and pierce the tube of glue through and through. It is better to take PVA glue in a plastic tube - this is a very convenient way to pierce and wrap the cone with threads. And yet, after drying, it becomes transparent, which does not affect the color of the threads, and besides, it is very strong and holds the structure better. And it is better to use cotton threads, as they absorb glue well. The color of the threads can be any, not only the traditional green. Thus, the thread will pass through the glue and be saturated with it, and we will put the needle in the box.

6. Then we take our tube in one hand, and hold the cone with the other hand - this is a very convenient way and we begin to wrap our structure, impregnated with thread, crosswise, leaving gaps between the threads, and be sure to pull the thread through the cuts in different directions so that the thread does not slip from the cone. The amount of thread to be wound depends only on you, if you want the Christmas tree to shine through, then make a thin layer of thread, and if vice versa - thick.

7. After completing this procedure, cut off the thread and spread PVA glue over the entire surface of the cone with a wide brush to better hold the structure.

8. After that, we leave our cone in a warm place until completely dry, for about a day. The structure should dry very well, become strong and solid. And we will wrap the holes in the tube with glue with adhesive tape for its further use.

9. After the threads have completely dried, first carefully cut off the base of the cone with the cuts through which we pulled the threads, and then remove them from the base slots.

10. Now you can begin to separate the cardboard cone from the cling film. This must be done carefully, slowly, so as not to damage the structure of our Christmas tree.

11. Then carefully remove the cling film from the threads.

12. We wrap the bottom of the Christmas tree with corrugated paper from a thin strip or a gift ribbon, attaching it with a stapler.

13. Finally, the most pleasant and joyful moment has come - decorating the Christmas tree. It is for this that we need sequins, beads, sequins, stars, beads, everything that glitters so that our Christmas tree is elegant and beautiful. Glue them on with super glue. You can wrap it with rain, glue a star or a snowflake on top. Your imagination will tell you.

14. So our Christmas tree made of threads is ready! Such a wonderful product will decorate your home and give you and your loved ones a unique New Year's mood. Happy New Year to you!

DIY Christmas balls from threads

You will need:

Air balloons

Thick threads (for knitting, for example)

PVA glue

Plastic bowl or glue cup (or other container that you can poke a couple of small holes into)

thick needle

Scissors.

1. Inflate the balloon to the desired size and tie a ponytail. If you want to make it more round, press it down with your hands.

2. Using a needle and thread, pierce a plastic bowl or cup. This should be done as close to the bottom as possible. You can also simply dip the thread into a container of glue.

3. Pour PVA glue into a container and dilute it with a little water to save glue.

4. Slowly pull the thread through the glue container and start winding the ball with it. Since you will be removing the ball after the glue dries, it is better to leave some space near the tail in advance to pull it out.

5. After you have wrapped the ball tightly, cut the thread. You can leave a small tail to make a loop and hang a ball on a Christmas tree, for example.

6. Leave the ball to dry. In a natural way, it will take 24 hours or a little more. You can speed up the process by placing the balloon near a radiator or drying it with a hair dryer.

7. When the glue is fully cured on all sides, pierce the ball and carefully pull it out.

8. If desired, you can decorate the balloon. Try painting it, sticking plastic or paper snowflakes, sequins, covering it with sparkles.
