But due to work duties, sometimes you still have to dress according to the dress code, and for these cases there are clothes, but shoes (summer) were needed, yet it’s not comme il faut to go to the boss’s office in sandals =) the result of the search was this pair of shoes - Skechers Men "s Relaxed Fit Palen Lomax Sneaker in calm light colors, but again with a sporty twist. But even before I started looking closely, quite serious shortcomings were discovered, and I think it would be right to mention them right away - on the suede and leather, right at the joints of the sole, there are traces of the adhesive base, and its color leaves no chance for the “not noticeable” option. The glue is very visible, the defects are very visible - and this is a huge minus, just like their presence in general! See below for more details.
Yes, I agree - these defects relate solely to the external (aesthetic) appearance and do not affect functionality. But personally, I think that this point is not so important, and therefore I am personally disappointed
There are no complaints about the quality of workmanship and tailoring - even, neat stitches, no protruding threads or understitching/crooked seams. If we talk about the materials themselves - thick leather and suede, open sections (not sealed) allow you to see not only the thickness of the material, but also to verify its authenticity. In total, 4 types of materials were used - non-smooth leather (the main part), suede, cotton (jeans) and large-weave textiles (I don’t know what it’s called correctly)
What I liked is that in addition to a lot of stitching on the outer part (the same strengthening of the nose), there is also stitching on the sole. It’s just that they couldn’t get the gluing done neatly, but they know how to sew – that can’t be taken away =)
Lacing is standard, there are metal restrictive rings.
Because The shoes have many ventilation holes, so your feet should not float. The ventilation holes on the side are stitched in a rather original way - the zigzag seam does not block the air outlet, but adds charisma and emphasis to the design
Logos: on the tongue, rubber overlay on the heel, as well as a rather inconspicuous S patch on the side of the heel
What I really liked was the insole! Soft, springy, dense, with instep support (movable)

The sole is without bright accents, quite ordinary and standard.
As for the sizing chart: in size 11.5 US the total length of the insole was 29.3 cm, the “working” length was 28.9 cm.

But what cannot be taken away from this couple is their external beauty and brightness; in my opinion, they look simply amazing! Neat, stylish and expensive.
In general, there would be no complaints about the quality of workmanship if it were not for these traces of glue (dying of fabric is something you can put up with). I can’t yet say whether we’ll keep them for ourselves or put them up for sale - on the one hand, I liked this pair for its laconicism and design, and it fully satisfies the requirements set for it in terms of versatility (ala sporty-classic style). But the presence of defects (too visible to close your eyes to them, in reality - in life the contamination in the nose is very visible) does not allow us to make a final decision.
I hope this review will help a future buyer decide on the question “Is it worth it?” Of course, maybe we were just unlucky, we wouldn’t want to believe that this negligence is natural.
