Smesharik Krosh, crocheted

Smeshariki is the favorite cartoon of many children. And every child wants to have a toy from their favorite cartoon in their collection. That is why looking for descriptions of Krosh the bunny and other crocheted toys is a common thing for handicraft mothers. And for good reason, because many are interested in this, so crocheting Krosh is not difficult.

Legs:

3rd row: * increase, 3 tbsp. b/n. *. Repeat * 2 times [= 10 tbsp. b/n]. Break the thread, leaving the end 20-25 cm long;

Place the 2 pieces right sides together and connect them by knitting 4 tbsp. b/n., using the end of the thread from the first part.

Next, knit in the round using the thread coming from the second piece.
note, that in the first circular row you should get 14 tbsp. b/n, but maybe more (15-16 tbsp. b/n).

Advice: use the ends of the threads to mark the beginning of the row. Just bring the end to the front side of the part, and when the part is ready, pull it in with a hook.

Knit 5 circular rows without changing

Cut a wire 10-15 cm long and bend one end.

Wrap the wire with padding polyester (or cotton wool), and wrap it with thread on top.

Insert the wire into the leg and knit 2 circular rows, alternating decreases and 1 sc.

Break the thread and hide the protruding ends.

The leg is ready!

Pens:

1st row: cast on 2 ch with yellow thread. and close it in a ring. Knit 6 tbsp. b/n. [= 6 tbsp. b/n] Next, knit in the round.

2nd row: * increase, 2 tbsp. b/n. *. Repeat * 2 times [= 8 tbsp. b/n];

Knit the second part in the same way (do not break the thread).

Place the 2 pieces right sides together and connect them by knitting 3 tbsp. b/n., using the end of the thread from the first part.

Knit 7 circular rows unchanged [= 12 tbsp. b/n] and insert the wire wrapped with padding polyester.

Knit the next row, alternately decreasing and 1 tbsp. [=8 tbsp. b/n].

Knit 2 rows without changes [=8 st. b/n] and break the thread.

Horns:

- consist of one long stick and two short ones.

Long stick:

2nd row: * increase *. Repeat * 5 times [= 10 tbsp. b/n].

Row 8: increase, 9 tbsp. b/n. [= 11 tbsp. b/n]

Row 9: increase, 10 tbsp. b/n. [= 12 tbsp. b/n]

Row 10: increase, 11 tbsp. b/n. [= 13 tbsp. b/n]

Row 11: increase, 12 tbsp. b/n. [= 14 tbsp. b/n]

Row 12: increase, 13 st. b/n. [= 15 tbsp. b/n]

Rows 13-14: knit unchanged [= 15 st. b/n]. Cut a wire 15-17 cm long, wrap it with padding polyester, and then with thread and insert it inside a long stick.

Row 15: 5 tbsp. b/n., decrease, decrease, 6 tbsp. b/n. [= 13 tbsp. b/n]

Row 16: decrease, 11 st. b/n. [= 12 tbsp. b/n]

17-18 row: no changes [= 12 tbsp. b/n]

Rows 19-22: no changes, but 3 tbsp. On one side, knit with half double crochets. This way, one edge of a long stick will be longer than the other.

Short stick (2 parts):

1st row: cast on 2 ch with brown thread. and close it in a ring. Knit 5 tbsp. b/n. [= 5 tbsp. b/n]. Next knit in the round.

2nd row: 5 increases [= 10 st. b/n].

Rows 3-7: knit unchanged [= 10 tbsp. b/n].

Fill short sticks with padding polyester and sew them to the long ones, and then bend the horns, as shown in the photo above.

Ears (2 parts):

1st row: cast on 4 ch with yellow thread, knit 1 sc into the second loop from the hook, 1 sc, 3 sc in one loop, turn knitting clockwise, 1 sc , 1 tbsp in the initial loop [= 8 tbsp. b/n].

Row 2: inc, 1 sc, 3 inc, 1 sc, 2 inc [= 14 st]. Break the thread.

1st row: cast on 3 ch with orange thread, knit 1 tbsp in the second loop from the hook, 3 tbsp in one loop, turn knitting, 2 tbsp in the starting loop [= 6 tbsp. b/n].

Eyes. Protein with eyelid (2 parts):

1st row: cast on 4 ch with white thread. and knit 1 tbsp. b/n in the second loop from the hook, 1 tbsp. b/n, 3 tbsp in the first loop, turn knitting clockwise, 1 tbsp. b/n, 1 tbsp. b/n in the initial loop [= 8 tbsp. b/n].

Row 2: increase, 1 tbsp. b/n, 3 increases, turn knitting, 1 tbsp. b/n, 2 increases [= 14 tbsp. b/n].

3rd row: increase, 2 tbsp. b/n, increase, 1 tbsp. b/n, increase, 1 tbsp. b/n, increase, turn knitting, 2 tbsp. b/n, increase, 1 tbsp. b/n, increase, connecting post [= 20 st.]. Break the thread.

The whites of the eyes can be tied with one white thread, or you can knit yellow eyelids on them - this is a more complex option.

Combine white and yellow thread when knitting a squirrel, as shown in the photo.

Pupil (2 parts):

1st row: cast on with black thread using a smaller crochet hook 3 ch. and knit 1 tbsp. b/n in the second loop from the hook, 3 tbsp in the next loop, turn the knitting over, 2 tbsp. b/n in the initial loop. [= 6 tbsp. b/n]. Break the thread. Draw a white thread through the center of the pupil twice (this is necessary to obtain a “shine in the eyes”)

Tie 2 chains of 8 chain stitches and sew them to the edge of the eyelid

Sew the whites together, as shown in the photo, and sew on the pupils.

The eyes are ready!

Assembly:

1. Sew the arms and legs to the body.

2. Sew on the horns and ears.

3. Design a face based on the picture.

Tips for designing the face:
- do not sew on all the details of the muzzle at once, but try several options for their placement.
- before embroidering the mouth, mark its location with an auxiliary thread.
- use to decorate the face. As a rule, I print a picture to the required scale and during the knitting process I attach details to this picture to determine the size and proportions.

The elk is ready!
