Accordingly, the one that will be larger will act as the body of the giraffe, and the one that will be smaller in size will act as the head. In order to make a neck, a carrot is perfect, the tip of which will need to be cut off. The body and neck will need to be secured with toothpicks. Of course, any giraffe has ears and they can be made using small leaves or even seeds. 4. How to make children's crafts from pears - funny little people

If you suddenly feel sad in the fall, you can make these simple little people. To prepare the second one you don’t even need any additional ingredients. It will be enough to just take a knife and cut out your eyes and smile. If you want your little man to have legs and arms, you can simply take ordinary toothpicks and insert them in place of the arms and legs, respectively.

For cooking the first person, you may additionally need another pear, lettuce, grapes and banana. In order to make the eyes, we will need two circles, which we will cut from a banana. Using a marker or black felt-tip pen, we will make pupils on the circles themselves and attach them accordingly using toothpicks. The role of the man’s nose is played by a grape, and the role of the cap is a circle cut from a second pear. The lettuce leaf is just for beauty, and you can simply cut out a smile with a knife. By the way, if you want, you can also secure raspberries or blackberries with a toothpick on the tip of the pear.

5. DIY vegetable crafts - rat Larisa made from radish

Anyone who has radishes growing in their garden will get a rather interesting rat. You can’t tell her at all from the one that the well-known old woman Shapoklyak had. How to make yourself such a girlfriend? And it's very simple.

To make such a children's craft, You will need :

• one large radish white
• some lettuce or, if you don't have any, cabbage
• one radish
• some olives that will be stuffed with paprika

Process:

• at the very end we will make eyes for the rat Lariska. We cut the olives into small circles and stick each one into the radish with a toothpick (as you can see, we couldn’t do almost anything without toothpicks). But what is a rat without eyebrows? They can be made using leftover radish pieces.

6. How to make a teapot and cup from an apple and an orange

Using apples and oranges you can make a real tea pair or if you want a whole tea set. Here it will be a matter of dexterity and accuracy, since the only tool you will use is a knife. Using it, you can make the base of the cups by removing the pulp from the apples or as in in this example, use an orange for the cup.

7. Children's crafts from vegetables - eggplant penguin

Making such a penguin is quite simple and you only need an eggplant and, accordingly, a knife. In order to make the penguin's eyes, you can take beads and pins, which can then simply be used to secure them.

First you just need to cut the eggplant into two even parts. Each of their parts will become a separate penguin. After this, you need to take the beads and secure them in place of the eyes. However, what is a penguin without wings? They can be easily made with a knife. It is enough just to cut them into shape with a knife.

You can also try to make a slightly different penguin, which will require other vegetables in addition to eggplant. You will need to take a couple more carrots and one pepper. The carrot will be used for the penguin's legs and nose, and the pepper for the wings. Now we place the flowers on a skewer, leaving 2 cm in the middle for attaching tomatoes. We tape the stem.

The side without the base of the pepper is very soft and can quickly slide down the stem. We make a support at the bottom - we reinforce the top with electrical tape, and then on top of it - green tape.

We put a small squash into the mug - this is the basis for the bouquet. You can also use a small pumpkin or green zucchini for the vase.

We set up the bouquet. We decorate it with cabbage leaves, viburnum branches, and green hot peppers.

Crafts with added decorative elements

You can add decor from other materials to vegetables and fruits: plasticine, foamiran, feathers, material, as well as beads, buttons, berries.

Tortilla doesn't need any introduction. This is a famous character from the work “The Golden Key”, whom all readers love. The turtle is a symbol of wisdom, so we will make a fairy-tale hero.

We will need:

• half a head of cabbage
• large dark green cucumbers (without pimples)
• wooden toothpicks and 3 skewers
• base - flat plate and greens
• floral wire
• fabric for a cap, braid, needle and thread
• scissors for cutting toothpicks

Let's start with the shell. Cut the cucumbers into slices of equal thickness. Divide the toothpicks in half with scissors or a knife.

We attach each circle to the cabbage base with 3 wooden “nails”. This is enough to hold the cucumber.

For the head, cut the end of the cucumber to the required length. We select it so that the head and neck are similar - round shape, smooth.

In the body we will provide a place for the neck and select some leaves from the cabbage.

When the entire shell is ready, we will attach the head and neck of the turtle here with skewers.

We make eyes, roll the wire in the form of glasses. We make a cap from a circle of fabric.

We make legs from four columns of cucumber and attach them to toothpicks. Place the turtle on a flat plate. For beauty, we cover it with red cabbage leaves. You can use any greens.

For the surroundings - tagetes flowers, and the image of the wise and sometimes even flirtatious turtle Tortilla is completed!

An excellent and long-lasting version of turtle is made from green zucchini squash.

Secrets and subtleties of creating crafts

1. Before starting work, all vegetables must be washed, dried, and then used as material for creativity.
2. Wooden toothpicks, skewers, and floral wire will help.
