Stars with the winter color type. A woman of the “Winter” color type is not necessarily the “Snow Queen”

Original

Wrong makeup for the winter color type can work against you! Fatigue will appear on your face, you will look several years older, and the natural uniqueness of your appearance will fade. Want to avoid this? Do you want makeup to turn you into an incomparable beauty who is admired by those around you? We will help you!

It's very easy to do. Winter is the most contrasting and spectacular of all existing types. Let us describe the main features of the winter woman.

  • Hair is dark black. Less often - a rich shade of dark chestnut.

  • The skin is light, pale, porcelain. It often has a bluish or olive undertone. No pronounced blush or freckles. Most often, a winter woman has clean and glowing skin. Therefore, there is no need to replenish your makeup bag with an abundance of leveling and concealing products.
  • The eyes are expressive, the most intense shades. The iris can be brown, blue and piercing cherry-brown. And also charming black and brown.

  • Beautiful dark eyebrows are traditionally considered the pride of dark-haired women. They are expressive and have an ideal shape. Therefore, there is often no need to emphasize them. If you're the exception to the rule, be sure to add some color and definition to your eyebrows.
  • When making makeup, it is recommended to focus on the lips. Even for daytime make-up they are acceptable! Just let the lipstick have a cool pink or purple tint.

  • It is better to emphasize expressive eyes with shades of cool shades. Too warm tones (for example, brown) can make your look look tired and even age you by several years. But if you decide to apply bright contrasting shadows to your eyelids, then naturally you should paint your lips with lipstick in natural shades.
  • Majority Makeup artists are advised to give preference to matte shadows, since mother-of-pearl “dispels” the natural attractiveness of women of the winter color type. And again, it will add several years.

  • Eye makeup can be done in both a restrained cold and a more saturated color palette. For modest women, smoky gray, beige-pink, gray-blue shades are suitable. Brave girls can easily experiment with deep blue, gentle lilac, emerald green, and flirty purple. The shades must be thoroughly shaded.

“Winter” makeup for different subtypes

The main feature of a winter woman is that she has expressive facial features and a memorable appearance. And even without an abundance of decorative cosmetics it looks great! And makeup can make her simply charming.

Experts have conditionally divided all representatives of “winter” appearance into subtypes that have their own characteristics. Accordingly, the makeup of different subtypes is slightly different.

Too much makeup can make such a woman look a little vulgar. But you definitely shouldn’t give up cosmetics completely!

Choose your color scheme based on one of three subtypes.

Makeup for cold winter color type

Cold winter is characterized by contrast.

  • Leather pale, porcelain, sometimes pinkish.
  • Hair dark black, black with a blue tint, dark ash, and sometimes platinum white. No warm golden or red tones!
  • Eyes blue, dark gray, gray and gray-blue, less often brown.

How to emphasize this combination with the help of decorative cosmetics?

  • Experts recommend not spoiling the beautiful combination of intelligent pale skin and dark hair with self-tanning. Apply foundation according to your skin color. Avoid warm peach or beige shades. It is better to give preference to a porcelain or soft pink shade.
  • When choosing blush, this rule also applies. Cool pink blush is more suitable than warm sandy beige, brown or coral.

  • Line your eyes with black pencil, especially if you are a hot brunette.
  • The selection of shadows is extremely wide. Try steel, bleached blue, gray-silver, soft pink, lilac, violet, chocolate brown, turquoise. It is better to choose light shadows.
  • Cool shades are suitable for lips. It can be lipstick or gloss of raspberry, plum, cherry or fuchsia.

Makeup for the southern winter color type

Warm (or southern) winters have a less contrasting appearance.

  • Leather dark, sometimes with an olive undertone.
  • Eyes brown or cherry-brown, green-brown.
  • Hair dark black or brown-black.

The combination of dark skin with brown eyes and dark hair creates a feeling of softness, which is why this subtype is sometimes called “mild winter.”

Let's name the main features of makeup for the southern winter.

  • Foundation with olive or grayish undertones.
  • Winter girl makeup blush may not be used at all. But if you can’t do without them, then choose cool pink or discreet bronze shades.

  • Shadows of emerald green, violet-lilac, beige-apricot, brown-pink, deep gray shades.
  • Fuchsia, burgundy, fresh berry lipstick(raspberries or plums), as well as ruby, pink or deep red.

Makeup for deep winter color type

The appearance of deep winter is a little closer to the autumn color style. But winter has a more contrasting appearance.

  • Leather, as a rule, light, with a cool bluish tint. Sometimes ivory or olive-tinged.
  • Eyes dark brown, black-brown. The whites of the eyes are pure white, which creates a beautiful contrast with the iris.
  • Hair dark: black, brown-black, steel-gray.

In deep winter, the contrast of dark hair and light skin is pronounced.

Let's name the main features of the make-up.

  • Suitable for women dark shades in makeup. Light colors blur its natural attractiveness.
  • Use black, dark gray, blue, pink shadows. If a certain warmth appears in your appearance (a color type close to autumn), then you can choose rich brown colors. But not orange or red.

Winter is the time of year when nature takes a break from bright colors. However, the type of appearance that is commonly called “winter”, on the contrary, is the brightest of all existing color types. Rich tones and contrasting combinations of skin tones, eyes and hair give owners of the winter color type an exciting, exotic beauty.

It is on girls of the “winter” color type that bright colors, exotic prints, avant-garde styles and extravagant makeup look most organic. But girls with a similar appearance look no less harmonious with a minimum of makeup and in laconic outfits - the texture given by nature allows them to always stand out in the crowd. The richness of colors of this time of year can be seen in the photos presented.

Winter palette in nature

Rich contrast of landscapes

The algorithm for determining the color type can be seen in the following table:

Stages of determining the color type of appearance

A common feature of all representatives of the “winter” color type is the predominance of cold pigment in the shades of appearance. Red and pink tones are practically not typical for them, and even a natural blush appears very rarely among those with the “winter” color type.

Leather

Representatives of the winter color type have skin that can be either very light or quite dark. In both cases, the undertone will be cold, blue or grayish. The most characteristic skin tones for those with the “winter” color type are:

  • porcelain;
  • alabaster;
  • beige;
  • olive or gray-olive;
  • ash-swarthy.

Fair-skinned women with a similar appearance practically do not get a tan; for them it is necessary to use products with a UV filter, since the sun's rays can not only cause burns, but also accelerate photo-aging.

Eyes

The eyes are one of the most striking features of the representatives of the winter type: the combination of pure, yellow-free whites and a brightly colored iris makes the look very expressive and the image memorable. The “winter” color type is characterized by the following eye shades:

  • Blue.
  • Blue.
  • Gray-blue or green-blue.
  • Ice-gray.
  • Dark brown.
  • Black.

Hair

Most often, representatives of the “winter” color type have dense, thick, straight and shiny hair. The shade can be either very dark (black and even blue-black, dark brown, dark brown hair) or very light (platinum blonde, ash and white hair).

Gray hair, which can appear quite early in representatives of this color type, usually has a noble silvery tint.

Winter subtypes: stars, looks, palette, makeup

Deep/Dark Winter

Many famous beauties can safely be considered representatives of the winter subtype Deep/Dark Winter: Anne Hathaway, Halle Berry, Demi Moore, Sandra Bullock, Eva Longoria, Penelope Cruz, Monica Bellucci, Salma Hayek.

Celebrity subtype Deep/Dark Winter

Monica Bellucci is one of the most prominent representatives of brown-eyed “winter” women. Her photos invariably demonstrate the natural beauty of the combination of dark eyes and hair with milky white skin. Salma Hayek and the temperamental Penelope Cruz are representatives of the winter type with dark skin. In their photo it is clearly visible that their tanned skin has not a bronze, but a cold gray-olive tint.

Representatives of the Deep winter subtype

The winter color type is fertile ground for experimenting with style, because its bright appearance allows its owners to wear bright colors and bold styles.

Black and white clothes will complement the winter color type like no other. They can be worn solo or in various combinations.

Demi Moore images

The “winter” color type is usually classified as a cold group. Its owners are suitable for bright, pure colors of the cold spectrum; they should be used for both everyday and evening makeup. It is better not to use shades that are too warm, as well as blurry and dusty: they will dull the beauty of natural contrasts.

Makeup for the Deep Winter subtype

Carefully choose the shade of foundation: it should be neutral, without pronounced yellowness or pink pigment.

Makeup of stars of the Deep Winter subtype

Choose transparent, white, blue or green makeup bases (if color correction is necessary, the latter will hide excess yellowness or redness). Avoid peach-colored primers - they don't suit you.

The cold “winter” color type will be decorated with blush in pink and plum shades. Choose products with a matte texture or a light satin sheen, without large shimmering particles. When applying blush, follow the rule “less is more” and carefully blend the edges of the product.

Everyday makeup can be complemented with light, natural pink shades of lipsticks and lip glosses. The “winter” color type will also be decorated with delicate lilac and cold beige colors.

Clear/True Winter

The winter color type pure/clear winter is represented by: Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Connelly, Megan Fox, Zooey Deschanel.

Representatives of the Clear/True Winter subtype

The universally recognized sex symbol Megan Fox skillfully plays up her extraordinary appearance with the help of make-up. Her photo is a vivid example of how properly chosen makeup can enhance already bright natural contrasts and create a memorable, extravagant image.

Bright, rich, straightforward shades suit the winter type: blue, cobalt, ink, scarlet, emerald green, . It is better not to use dusty, blurry colors.

Star bows clear winter

Clothing and accessories should be made of high-quality fabrics with a rich texture that hold their shape well.

Combination of neon shades

For finishing powder, choose light, crumbly textures without a tint (these are marked transparent or translucent on the packaging). It is the colorless loose powder, applied in a thin layer on top of the foundation, that will give light skin a beautiful “porcelain” finish.

Highlighters and luminizers should have shades of silver or pearl (the reference option is the famous Camelia from Chanel). Products with golden and bronze particles are prohibited.

Sculpt your face using products without red pigment. Unfortunately, most of the bronzers on the cosmetic market are not suitable for you. Ideal for modeling the face would be a cool beige-gray blush, for example, MAC Harmony or the more budget NYX Taupe.

Eye makeup for the winter type can be very bright (classic smokey eyes) or discreet (elegant winged eyeliner on the upper eyelid combined with a small amount of shadow). Your color type will be decorated with:

  • All shades of gray (silver, graphite, anthracite, steel).
  • Blue and blue colors (azure, cobalt, ).
  • and inky shades.
  • Beige-gray (suitable for a casual look).

Brown, pink, terracotta tones are not suitable, they will make your eyes teary and your eyes tired.

Emphasize your eyebrows with a pencil or tinting agent 1-2 shades darker than your hair color.

The “winter” color type encourages the use of bright colors in lip makeup. Choose lipsticks with a cool undertone (they should contain blue pigment). Suitable for you:

  • Classic red.
  • Fuchsia.
  • Cool berry tones.
  • Wine colored lipsticks.

Cool/Bright Winter

The Cold/Bright Winter subtype is reflected by the stars: Meryl Streep, Liv Tyler, Elizabeth Taylor, Kristen Stewart.

Representatives of cool winter

An example of a fair-haired “winter” woman can be seen in the promotional photo of the film “The Devil Wears Prada.” The main character, played by Meryl Streep, is a real Snow Queen.

Star Bows Cold/Bright WINTER

Hollywood actress Liv Tyler - bright or cold “winter”: snow-white skin, brown hair and piercing blue eyes never cease to inspire lens experts, and Liv’s beautiful photos regularly appear on the pages of glossy publications.
Color blocking (a combination of bright, contrasting tones in a suit) suits “winter” women very well. If you are not sure that you know what colors go together, look for photos of successful combinations on the pages of magazines or on the Internet.
Feel free to use bright prints, avoiding only blurry, dull and romantic floral patterns.

Winter bows Cold/Bright WINTER

The “winter” color type most often assumes that its owner has fair skin. When choosing foundation and powder, avoid products with a large number of reflective particles in the composition; matte and semi-matte textures are much more suitable for “winter” girls. If necessary, add a subtle glow using a highlighter applied precisely to the prominent parts of the face.

When doing makeup for photos, especially for retro or black-and-white shoots, you can sculpt with blush or gray eyeshadow. This technique will help make the relief of the face even clearer and more dramatic, but remember - this technique is not applicable in life, gray shades will look foreign in everyday makeup.

Whatever shades of eyeshadow you choose, mascara and eyeliner should be black. Only a rich dark contour will highlight the beauty of bright eyes. A white liner applied to the mucous membrane of the lower eyelid will help make your eyes even bigger (this technique looks especially advantageous in the photo).

Don’t be afraid to emphasize your beauty in your images, let your “winter” sparkle with the brightest colors!

Well-chosen makeup decorates any girl. And in order to always be on top and avoid mistakes in this matter, it is best to use the advice of the theory of appearance color types. Today we will talk about the color palette, rules and secrets of makeup for the “winter girl”.

What colors suit the winter color type?

The appearance of the winter color type is a play of opposites, pure colors and pronounced facial features. Therefore, it is believed that in comparison with others, this type is the easiest to identify in yourself.

The main contrast for such girls is between hair color and skin color. “Winter” hair is dark, sometimes blue-black or dark brown, and the eyebrows and eyelashes are just as rich. But their skin is light, pale, one might say porcelain, it is usually compared to snow.

Eyes only in pure shades, for example, rich blue, blue, brown, black. Their distinctive feature is that the iris of the eye seems to be outlined, and contrasts greatly with the whiteness of its white.

Now we will talk about the color scheme that will suit “winter” beauties. Based on the name of this color type, it is easy to guess that all shades and tones will be “cold”.

So what color scheme should the representative of “winter” choose? Pink, raspberry, plum tones, fuchsia, cyclamen, lilac and purple shades are perfect for her. Juicy red lipstick or cherry red will help create a bright image.

But a warm palette is contraindicated for her. These include scarlet, beige and pastel colors.

When choosing lipstick, girls of this type should also follow a couple of simple rules:

  • Its shades should be pure and the coldest.
  • Gold-colored pearlescent particles are not allowed in it.

Winter color type: makeup

Properly selected makeup is very important for the “winter girl.” She is recommended to use only her own color scheme and avoid experimenting with other people's shades. It's all about her appearance, which allows no compromise. A bad lipstick or shade can instantly make her look dull and faded, looking older than her age.

The most advantageous makeup for “winter” is cool tones and an emphasis on lips, which are naturally plump and seductive. Here you can safely play up the “Snow White” look: black arrows on the eyes, red lipstick and snow-white skin.

The opposite option, but no less effective, would be where it is customary to highlight the eyes and use light colors for the lips.

For everyday “make-up”, such girls will only need a minimum of cosmetics, and all thanks to their natural brightness.

Below in the photographs you can see several types of win-win makeup for representatives of the winter color type.

And as a “bonus” - entertainment from the “let them talk” series. About the postscript.

In principle, those who read my blog know that I somewhat... dislike “stylists”. By “stylists” I mean those who do this out of motivation 1) to make money from “suckers”, 2) to increase their self-esteem with an imaginary status. Some, of course, will consider me a bitch (I don’t stand on ceremony with such “professionals” in conversation, if I come across their “work,” it just so happens), some will consider me an idealist (well, you can’t do research for everyone and pay attention to the client). Here I admit that yes, I am an idealistic bitch =) I believe that it is imperative to engage in YOUR own search, pay attention to the client, but if you really get stuck. It's better not to work with this client. As an idealistic bitch, I sometimes allow myself to do this =)
But today we are not really talking about me, but about my note at the beginning of the article. More than once I caught “stylists” copying information from my blog and selling it (! for money, that is) to clients as their own (!) work. I've seen this so often, without specifically looking for it - i.e. By chance, let’s say their clients came to me for retyping. So sometimes it seems to me that among Russian-speaking stylists this is the norm “to steal a miracle and sell it.” One lady even managed to steal my copyrighted theory of the essense of style. She left the typology itself, but “retold” the description, i.e. in fact, go prove in court that she took it from me. although all the style - persons - are my interpretation, also in the same order =) The lady appointed herself as the author of the theory. The funny thing is that the site was “Orthodox” and the page of that faded lady on social networks was full of reminders about God. but apparently she did not read the 12 commandments. I caught her stealing three times. and there are a lot of people like her.

And with these articles about color palettes there was a “funny” incident in general. As you know, the series of articles has not yet been completed, I have not yet made three palettes even today, but a couple of months ago my work, which was generally free and was made for free distribution on the Internet, was already managed to be sold by one middle-aged madam to her clients for money! Moreover, she didn’t sweat it - she just did a copy and paste.
This is a small piece of her “analysis”. compare with, even the pictures are in the same order, even the collages are still the same. So what? Even a comma is missing where I missed it =) Moreover, my style is immediately visible. But the name “Tatyana Belyavina” is attached to the top. And the auntie apparently seriously considers herself a stylist. either that, and she is sick because she cannot understand her lack of talent in this area, or she is just a fraudster who wants to make money “from suckers” and sell them something. which is already available for free. And unfortunately, there are a lot of such misguided or cunning people.

Moreover, this is how I myself feel about all this: initially the information is made for the purposes of EDUCATION. I’m posting it for free, so it should be distributed for free too. In addition, attributing authorship to yourself is a no-brainer, sorry. Each article of this kind takes me about 2-3 hours, despite the fact that I already have most of the information in client memo files or in a color course. Those. it's a hell of a job. and then some Baba Tanya comes from Yekaterinburg in a tacky outfit and decides that she is a “stylist”, and in general, you can put your own squiggle on someone else’s work and sell free stuff to unsuspecting people.

The most interesting thing for me is how she works with people whose palettes I haven’t published yet... apparently, she stuffs them into what they have, or something =)) She identified the client whose analysis I accidentally came across incorrectly =) the girl turned out to be dark autumn, but bad luck... there was no dark autumn palette in the community at that time. =))) although I think that such a clumsy person who steals someone else’s property is, in principle, most likely simply incompetent, most likely she really missed the mark with the color type.

With amazing ease and simplicity, you can choose your makeup, hair color and clothes, knowing the color type of your appearance. To get closer to the ideal, it is important to accurately determine the type and subtype of the color type. One of the brightest and most contrasting is the “winter” appearance.

Characteristic

The “winter” color type has several subspecies, however, several general characteristics can be distinguished. So, this appearance is different:

  • coldness;
  • a game of contrasts;
  • brightness;
  • cleanliness.

The last point speaks of purity in shades. For example, blue and gray eyes without admixtures of other warm tones.

What do men and women with winter looks look like? It is worth saying that to determine the color type you will need three characteristics. Hair and skin color are fundamental values, but eye color is a secondary concept.

Let's consider the appearance of a man who fits the parameters of winter appearance. A brunette with cool-toned hair, light or olive-toned skin with eyes that contrast with the tone of the face. The eyes of a winter man glow blue, emerald, amber or dark brown.

It's time to take a look at the winter woman's appearance. A girl with an ash blonde or brunette shade with light translucent skin and expressive eyes personifies winter. Her complexion is clear and free of warm freckles, but has some blueness due to protruding veins visible through her thin skin.

Combining the above, let us highlight the main features of a multifaceted, but always contrasting and expressive winter:

  • skin that is not subject to tanning, always remaining pale and in some cases slightly painful;
  • eyes with a contrasting iris against a background of blue or white whites;
  • cool lips with a hint of lilac;
  • black, brown hair tones without a hint of warm tints or ash blonde.

If you have found signs of winter in yourself, it’s time to understand its multifaceted subtypes and their characteristics. Knowing the nuances will allow a woman to become a real Snow Queen, someone who is admired and envied.

Subtypes and varieties

Despite the rather painstaking division into subtypes, choosing the perfect one can be difficult, because each person is individual, and their appearance is special.

Soft

Mild winter is one of the most difficult color types of appearance, because it separates two opposing elements. Mild summers and bright winters combine in this rich yet delicate appearance. This color type is characterized by beige and olive skin, which tans well, but at the same time does not look very dark. The hair color is cool, in most cases brown with soft tints of cool shades. Eyes in this type have a combination of several shades, for example, blue and green.

Warm

The “warm winter” color type is distinguished by the depth of dark shades. A girl with this appearance captivates with her black eyes and eyelashes in tandem with deep brown or black hair color. Warmth radiates from olive, bronze and beige skin, adorned with a summer tan that it absorbs and retains for a long time. A warm winter is also called a dark winter, without changing its meaning.

South

The color type of “southern winter” is indicated by its very name. He can be safely identified with the majority of passionate Cuban and Spanish women. Southern winter is close to warm and also has a dark skin tone. Hair color is distinguished by deep black or dark chestnut shade. But the eye color goes a little to the side; it can be tea or a charming emerald.

Clean

Owners of the “pure winter” color type can safely be proud of their appearance, because it is rare in nature and captivates with a special inner glow. A clear winter is often referred to as clear or light.

The skin tone of this color type is pale and has a bluish tint due to its transparency and protruding venous vessels. The eyes may be greenish, gray or hazel with a hazel-gray undertone. The hair shade is close to the warm seasons. It can be dark blond and medium blond.

Classical

The famous image maker David Zayla identified a color type called “classic winter” in his book “Color Your Style.” It can be compared to a red rose, bright and rich, but not at all vulgar.

Light skin plays in contrast with the dark shade of the eyes and hair. To understand what a classic winter looks like, just look at the incomparable Penelope Cruz.

Natural

Natural winter is close to classical. Light blue skin combined with black or dark brown hair is complemented by almost black eyes.

Low contrast

The subtype of low-contrast winter includes types of warm and southern winters. Her lack of contrast is explained by her olive and beige skin tone, which looks especially organic with dark hair and dark or light eyes of pure shades.

Night

It is not surprising that the subtypes of color types are similar to each other and differ only in details that are hardly noticeable to the naked eye, because they are divided rather conditionally and do not have strict tables.

So the night winter combines elements of a warm winter. The skin tone here is cool, but has a beige or olive tint. This skin tans well, but in the absence of sunbathing it is not dark, but is close to medium tone. Night winter brown hair can come in medium to dark shades. Blue, gray and brown-green eyes give a soft coolness to the appearance. .

Italian

The Italian winter is called low-contrast and southern. The owners of this color type are endowed with a fiery appearance with a shock of thick black hair and dark eyes with charcoal-colored lashes.

Italian winter skin tone is dark or beige. When tanning, an “Italian winter” girl can acquire a chocolate skin tone.

Northern

Do you remember Snow White from the Disney cartoon? Her black hair, pale skin and blue eyes captivated the prince and the dwarves. Owners of the “northern winter” color type can consider themselves real beauties, because their contrasting appearance delights stylists, who have a huge scope for choosing makeup and wardrobe.

If we follow the division of the winter color type into contrasting and non-contrasting, of course, northern winter belongs to the first type.

Eastern

Eastern winter is a non-contrasting color type. The main distinguishing feature of the color type is the same or very similar tone of the hair and eyes, while the skin has a medium tone.

Porcelain

Porcelain winter is a type of contrasting color type. A distinctive feature here is the skin tone, similar to the tone of porcelain dolls. Its pale pink hue is complemented by a vibrant light pink blush. The eyes have almost any clear tone, and the hair can be a chestnut shade in a color palette from light to almost black.

Modern fashionistas have long stopped purchasing clothes and cosmetics colors at random, because their correlation with their own color type gives much more numerous options for freedom of imagination.

What hair color and hairstyle is suitable?

To determine which hair color will be ideal for a particular case, it is important to understand whether you are a contrasting or non-contrasting winter.

So, image makers advise bright, clean, contrasting, northern and classic winters to sincerely rejoice in their cold shade of hair, because even gray hair will suit them. If hair dye is still necessary, choose tones that are close to your natural color, darker or brighter in tone.

Warm shades, such as red, should be abandoned altogether, because they will forgive and drown out the bright accents of a winter girl’s appearance. Ladies of advanced age are advised to take a closer look at ash blonde, which gives the owner youth and freshness.

A hairstyle for a contrasting winter should be selected not only depending on the color type, but also be consistent with the oval of the face and other features of appearance.

  • hair of the same length;
  • straight, torn and oblique bangs;
  • tight curls;
  • hair pulled back into a ponytail or neat bun.

Low-contrast, dark or warm winter also has a cool shade of hair. You can emphasize it by tinting the strands in a similar cold tone. The “bitter chocolate” color palette will add heat and at the same time softness to a dark-skinned beauty. Not the best solution for a low-contrast winter would be to dye it blonde, even if it is an ash tone. However, chestnut with a slight hint of gray will add some zest to the warm winter.

Loose hair is suitable for southern and other types of low-contrast winter hairstyles, because by nature they are characterized by the density and thickness of each strand. If the volume of hair does not live up to expectations, feel free to choose short haircuts in the form of a false bob or tie your hair back.

What colors should you use in clothes?

The “winter” girl simply has to stand out in the crowd, because nature has awarded her with the brightest appearance, which must be emphasized with the help of colors.

The leader among the ideal shades for a contrasting and warm winter remains the incomparably black tone. Other shades would be appropriate, for example:

  • deep blue;
  • emerald;
  • ruby;
  • fuchsia;
  • bitter chocolate;
  • white.

The white tone, it is worth saying, gives winter a sexy tenderness and goes perfectly with a black bottom, without fear of turning the owner into an office mouse. It would be useful to dilute the white and black tones with a red tint of accessories.

A nice feature of winter appearance is the ability to wear several bright shades. So, you can combine the listed basic tones with each other, combining, at first glance, incongruous things and look stunning at the same time.

Accessories and summer wardrobe can be even brighter than the main one. Use trendy indigo, mint, deep green, lingonberry and combine with a calmer addition. So, gray color is beautiful in tandem with catchy shades.

Basic wardrobe or what to wear?

If everything has become clearer with the color palette, it’s time to think about a suitable wardrobe. Today, stylists suggest composing it in such a way that each subsequent item purchased will complement it and combine with the rest. This approach is called capsule. Capsules can be made for a business setting, for leisure and travel, for parties and special occasions. Surprisingly, this idea works like magic because it significantly saves your budget.

So, let's start with a capsule wardrobe for office work. It’s worth saying that winter girls really like strict clothes, adding to their sexual inaccessibility and severity. A business wardrobe for winter can consist of a double-breasted jacket, black and white trousers, a little black dress, a pencil skirt and several blouses of various colors and styles. David Zyla recommends taking a closer look at blouses “a la 60s” without buttons.

A capsule for relaxation and travel is light and casual, however, experts do not recommend filling it with simple things with children's prints or excessive decoration. So, a summer wardrobe with a chiffon blouse with short sleeves and a small turn-down collar will be much more appropriate than a blouse with a lush frill. A small dress with a round neck and sleeveless in a fitted silhouette will look elegant. Don’t forget about the bright details in the form of felt hats with brims.

For an evening capsule, several dresses of various styles and rich tones will be enough. So, for a winter girl, a sheath dress with long sleeves, a floor-length model and an elegant model with a tight bodice and a flared hem will suit her. The right combination of shades and styles will allow you not to buy a new clutch for each dress, but to skillfully combine them. A winter girl should radiate nobility and luxury, so instead of 10 cheap models, you can buy 3, but from expensive fabrics.

Accessories and bags, like the entire wardrobe, should follow clear lines. Bucket bags would be absolutely inappropriate here, even if they are made of the softest suede. Patent leather is an ideal design for bags of owners of a winter color type.

Correct makeup

Correct makeup directly depends on the winter subtype. Contrasting and non-contrasting winter have different shades of lipstick, eye shadow, foundation and blush.

For a contrasting winter

Makeup artists advise not to interfere with the natural shades of contrasting winter, but only to emphasize them to their advantage. Thus, the foundation must be matched to the skin tone and the use of self-tanning should be avoided. Favorites in shades are porcelain and soft pink.

The blush should also have a cool tint. Avoid delicate peach and coral tones and opt for cool pink.

If your contrasting winter hair color is black, make a bright accent on your eyes using a pencil of this tone. Eye shadows have a wide range of colors from bleached tones to rich turquoise. Makeup artists recommend choosing light shades.
