HOW TO CROCHET A BAG

It is not difficult to crochet such an elegant bag. To do this, you need to knit 6 circles according to the description (3 on each side). It is better to connect the circles together during the knitting process.

For the circle, we collect a chain of 6 air loops and close them into a ring.
2nd row: we knit 3 air loops for lifting (they are mistakenly not indicated in the diagram, they are replaced with a double crochet) and we knit another 15 double crochets.
3rd row: 3 air loops for lifting + 1 air loop and then knit *double crochet, 1 air loop* - repeat 15 more times. (i.e. we knit double crochets into double crochets of the previous row and chain stitches between them)
4th row: single crochet on the double crochet of the previous row, 2 single crochets under the chain loop - repeat until the end of the row.
5th row: 4 chain stitches 2 and double crochet stitches with a common top, 3 chain stitches, 3 double crochet stitches with a common top, 3 chain stitches - repeat until the end of the row (a total of 16 such groups).
Row 6: single crochet in the middle loop of a group of double crochets, 3 single crochets under the chain of chain stitches.
Row 7: *single crochet in the middle loop of a group of double crochets, 4 chain stitches* - repeat 16 times.
8th row: under the chain of chain stitches - single crochet, 2 double crochets, double crochet, 2 double crochets, single crochet * - repeat 16 times.
Row 9: 4 chain stitches for lifting, 3 chain stitches, *single crochet over double crochet, 3 chain stitches, double crochet stitch, 3 chain crochets* - repeat until the end of the row.
Row 10: 3 single crochets under a chain of three chain stitches - repeat until the end of the row.
Row 11: *single crochet into the second stitch from a group of three single crochet stitches from the previous row, 3 chain stitches* - repeat until the end of the row.

The first circle is connected. We knit the remaining circles in the same way; when knitting the last row, we connect at 6 points with the previous circle. (green ticks in one circle and red ticks in another circle).

Having knitted and connected 6 circles, we begin to tie the elements at the top and bottom to align the fabric of the bag and make it rectangular.
To do this, we connect 6 air loops into a ring, then - 5 air loops, join a single crochet stitch to a circle chain loop, 5 chain loops, join a single crochet stitch to a ring of 6 chain loops,
3 air loops, attach to the next arch of three air loops, 3 air loops, attach to a ring of 6 air loops,
2 air loops, attach to the next arch of three air loops, 2 air loops, attach to a ring of 6 air loops,
4 air loops, we attach to the next arch of three air loops of the circle and to the same arch of the second circle at the same time, 3 air loops, we attach to a ring of 6 air loops,
2 air loops, we attach to the arch of three air loops of the second circle, 2 air loops, we attach to a ring of 6 air loops,
3 air loops, we attach to the next arch of three air loops of the second circle, 3 air loops, we attach to a ring of 6 air loops,
3 single crochets in a circle of 6 chain stitches.

Using these elements we connect the circles at the top and bottom.

Then we knit 5-7 rows in a circle with single crochets and start knitting with a pattern. Row 1: 3 double crochets for lifting, 3 double crochets, skip 3 double crochets on the previous row (in the diagram these are circles) and knit in the next stitch 4 double crochets - knit to the end of the row.
2nd row: 3 chain stitches, double crochet between a group of 4 double crochets, chain stitch, 2 double crochets at the same point, * 2 double crochets between a group of 4 double crochets, chain stitch, 2 double crochets Yarn over to the same point* - repeat until the end of the row.
3rd and following rows: repeat row 2.
Having knitted 10 rows, divide the knitting into three parts, leave the middle one, and on the two outer ones knit two triangles with partial knitting (reducing the number of double crochets in each row next to the left stitches).
Having tied both halves of the bag in this way, we will make a binding - 6 rows of single crochets in a circle, knitting 3 loops together in the corners and in protruding corners - 3 single crochets from one single crochet.

For a white bag, we knit the bottom with single crochets and attach it to the bag.
For black, first we knit 3-4 rows with a pattern and attach the bottom of the bag to it.
For the bottom, you need to cast on a chain of air loops slightly smaller than the length of the bag and knit in a circle (oval) with single crochets to the required length (which is equal to the length of the bag.) The shorter the initial chain is, the wider the bottom will be.

We knit cords for handles and decorations: cast on 6-8-10 air loops, close in a circle and knit in a spiral to the desired length. For the handles, make the cord thicker (cast on more initial loops).

A bright bag is knitted from motifs; the brighter the yarn, the more positive your bag will be.

If the principle of expanding the circular fabric is violated, you may encounter a drawn-out outer edge of the circle, a domed middle, or, conversely, stretched ruffles.

Round crocheted bags, the patterns of which are best chosen solid or with a minimal amount of openwork, are most often flat. In this case, two main parts are knitted in circular rows. You can simply connect them together or sew in a long strip that simultaneously serves as sides, bottom and handles.
