A skin cell lives 28 days. After this, it dies and requires its removal from the surface of the epidermis, since the dead cell prevents the penetration of oxygen and beneficial components into the skin. At a young age, the natural exfoliation mechanisms of the epidermis work effectively.

But over the years, unfortunately, the process of rejection of the dead layer slows down significantly, resulting in numerous layers of keratinized scales

As a result, the skin acquires a gray tint, its natural respiration and saturation with essential nutrients are blocked. You can use very effective and expensive creams, but this will not improve the appearance of your face.

In order to remove dead layers from the surface of the skin, chemical peeling is used, as a result of which the following processes occur:

  • horny cells dissolve under the influence of chemical components, they are peeled off and removed from the surface, as a result of which the skin becomes smooth, soft and acquires a uniform color;
  • new cells begin to multiply intensively, i.e. renewal and rejuvenation of the skin occurs. This stimulates the production of collagen, which prevents the formation of wrinkles. At the same time, the skin acquires firmness and elasticity;
  • scars and post-acne become much smaller;
  • pigment spots are lightened;
  • the functioning of the sebaceous glands is normalized.

Rules and procedure for chemical peeling at home

Independent chemical peeling is carried out in the form of applying masks to the face containing acids (fruit, lactic, etc.), as well as enzymes that effectively dissolve dead layers of skin. All these components are not as aggressive as the compounds used in professional salons. That is, at home you can only do superficial peeling, when the effect is only on a few layers of the stratum corneum. However, some caution should be observed during the procedure, especially if the skin is too sensitive.

To achieve the expected result, but without harming the skin, you must adhere to the following rules for chemical peeling:

  • Before starting the procedure, the skin must be thoroughly cleaned;
  • for deeper penetration of the ingredients into the surface of the epidermis, it is advisable to steam the face with a hot compress for 2 minutes;
  • Apply the prepared chemical composition to the face, avoiding the area around the eyes and lips;
  • During the procedure, slight tingling and slight redness of the skin are acceptable. If a strong burning sensation is felt, the product should be immediately washed off with plenty of water, and then a cold compress from the infusion of the string should be applied. Therefore, when using this or that composition for the first time, it is better to prepare a herbal infusion in advance: 1 tbsp. l. pour 1 cup of boiling water over the string and leave for 10–15 minutes. Then strain, cool and refrigerate;
  • The duration of one procedure is 5–6 minutes. With longer exposure to chemical components on the skin, there is a risk of burns;
  • At the end of the peeling time, the mask should be washed off first with warm and then with cold water. After removing the composition, it is recommended to apply liquid to the face to restore the pH balance of the skin;
  • The final stage of the procedure is moisturizing the face with cream;
  • the frequency of the procedure depends on the skin type and the selected chemical composition, but you should not do it more often than recommended in the recipe;
  • It is advisable to carry out chemical peeling in the evening, since in this case the exposure of the sun's rays to the face is completely excluded. In addition, during sleep, the skin has the opportunity to completely calm down after exposure to aggressive components;
  • The peeling procedure should be postponed if there are pustules and inflammation on the skin.

Modern cosmetology offers several ways to achieve the desired effect. Most of them are various types of peeling.

Today this service is available to almost everyone; moreover, there are methods for performing it at home. These include, for example, chemical peeling.

This procedure has a beneficial effect on the condition of the skin, but also carries a certain risk. To avoid possible troubles, you need to know how to do deep chemical peeling of the face at home.

To do this, you need to carefully study the technology of the procedure, the necessary cosmetics, preparation for peeling and contraindications for its use.

What is a chemical peel?

Peeling is the removal of the top layers of skin and their subsequent restoration.

The effect on the skin is carried out due to chemical compounds that exfoliate the upper scales and stimulate natural cell renewal.

Before carrying out home peeling, you should visit a dermatologist. He will tell you whether there is a need for the procedure and what type of procedure to give preference to.

Indications

Not only mature women, but also very young girls need to do peeling. This is due to the fact that the procedure solves a wide range of skin problems:

  • elimination of pigment spots;
  • smoothing skin texture;
  • restoration of the protective barrier;
  • rejuvenation;
  • elimination of scars and stretch marks;
  • prevention of inflammatory processes.

An experienced dermatologist will be able to determine the presence of indications for the use of the peeling procedure and the appropriate composition of the necessary chemicals.

Types of chemical peeling

There are three types of chemical effects on the skin according to the depth of cleansing:

  1. Surface. It affects the upper layers of the dermis, cleanses it and smoothes out wrinkles, but the result of this procedure will not last long.
  2. Average. It has an effect on acne and eliminates acne, cleanses pores.
  3. Deep. It gives the most long-lasting effect, but requires observation by a dermatologist and hospitalization after it.

The last type of peeling can be performed only in specialized institutions. It is simply impossible to do such a procedure at home yourself, since it is performed under anesthesia.

Procedure at home

Before you begin the process of chemical peeling for the face at home, it is worth studying recipes and understanding the means necessary for this.

The choice of such drugs is huge; they are usually sold in specialized stores and pharmacies.

There are several chemical compounds that are the basis of peeling products:

  • fruit acids;
  • calcium chloride;
  • alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs);
  • salicylic acid;
  • retinolic acid;
  • lactic acid.

Peeling with the help of each of these substances has its own characteristics not only in the stages of implementation, but also in skin care in the post-peel period.

Fruit acids

For this procedure, you do not need to buy special products; fruit or berry puree, which you need to prepare yourself, is suitable.

For these purposes, fruits rich in acids are best suited: citrus fruits, apples, pineapples, kiwi, currants, gooseberries, lingonberries, cranberries, raspberries, apricots. Several ingredients can be used to achieve the best effect.

The procedure takes place in several stages:

  1. The skin must first be cleaned with a mild product, such as baby soap.
  2. Fruit puree is applied to the face for 20 minutes, then it is removed.
  3. Rinse off the remaining mask with cool water.
  4. Lubricate the skin with moisturizer.

This peeling will not only make your skin healthier, but will also saturate it with essential vitamins. In this case, the dermis is not exposed to harsh chemicals.

Recipe for the piggy bank:

  • Step 1– Mix 2 tablespoons of cane sugar and 2 tbsp. spoons of lemon juice, then add yogurt to the bowl. These foods are sources of glycolic, lactic and citric acids.
  • Step 2– Apply a thick layer of the resulting paste onto a cleansed face (using your fingertips).
  • Step 3– Leave the paste on your face for 10-15 minutes, then wash it off with cool water.

Calcium chloride

Chemical peeling with calcium chloride can be carried out both at home and in the salon. Professionals use drugs with a concentration of the active substance of at least 20%.

After peeling, you should not be in the sun!

For home use, calcium chloride can be bought at a pharmacy, but its percentage will be within 10%.

Peeling with calcium chloride proceeds as follows:

  • the skin must be cleansed with tonic, then washed with cool water and allowed to dry;
  • apply the preparation to the face with a cotton pad, hold it for about a minute, then apply it again - perform these steps until the ampoule of calcium chloride runs out;
  • let the skin dry;
  • roll the top layer of skin with palms lubricated with baby soap;
  • Wash off the resulting pellets with water.

This cleansing should be performed no more than once every two weeks. After peeling, you should not expose your skin to the sun for several days, and you should also lubricate it with moisturizers.

AHA acids

Preparations with alphahydroxy acids are sold in pharmacies and specialty stores, as well as in beauty salons that provide peeling.

Before using such skin cleansing products, you should carefully read the instructions that accompany them.

It indicates the procedure for carrying out the procedure. It is necessary to strictly follow all recommendations, usually they are as follows:

  • cleansing and degreasing the skin;
  • skin treatment with a drug;
  • removal of the drug with a neutralizing agent after the time specified in the instructions after application;
  • applying nourishing cream.

Salicylic acid

This is an excellent cleanser that is included in many medications for acne, acne and other diseases. Chemical peeling using salicylic acid brings excellent results.

After purchasing the required drug, just as in the case of alphahydroxy acids, you need to carefully read the instructions. Typically, recommendations for the use of salicylic peels coincide with recommendations for the use of AHA acids.

The only difference in the procedure is the final stage - in this case, the skin is treated with a restorative cream.

During the cleansing process with salicylic acid, a burning sensation may occur. To protect your skin, avoid wearing makeup and tanning for a few days.

On a note!
Before using any peeling, be it pharmaceutical or homemade, be sure to conduct a test on the elbow bend to determine sensitivity to the components of the composition.

Retinolic acid

It is necessary to purchase an exfoliant solution of retinolic acid and a 5% solution of glycolic acid. This peeling is called yellow. It happens in 5 stages:

  1. Cleansing and degreasing the skin.
  2. Treatment of the dermis with glycolic acid. This measure will soften the skin and facilitate the penetration of the main active substance into it.
  3. Application of a drug based on retinolic acid.
  4. Wash off the drug after the time specified in the instructions for it with a neutralizer.
  5. After 8 hours, wash off the neutralizer with water.

This type of peeling is quite traumatic; after it, the skin receives a superficial burn, which can be noticed by characteristic redness and a feeling of tightness.

Peeling with retinolic acid is very traumatic!

It is necessary to lubricate the skin with a nourishing cream three times a day, otherwise the skin will become covered with cracks. After a few days, active exfoliation of the skin will begin, during which itching may occur.

Despite the rather long rehabilitation after retinol peeling, the effect is quite impressive and lasts for a long time. This type of procedure cleanses the skin to the maximum depth possible at home.

Lactic acid

Peeling with lactic acid is a non-aggressive method of cleansing the skin. To carry it out, a solution of lactic acid is applied to cleansed skin and washed off after a few minutes. The procedure is extremely simple.

The peculiarity of this technique is the time of its application: weekly in the autumn-winter period. The acid concentration should be gradually increased from 20% to 80%.

Contraindications

The procedure for cleansing the skin with chemicals is effective and useful, but not everyone can do it.

The following contraindications exist:

  • violations of the integrity of the skin;
  • acute inflammation;
  • pregnancy and lactation;
  • oncological lesions;
  • diabetes;
  • thyroid diseases;
  • adolescence;
  • allergic reactions, first apply the drug to the skin of the elbow, if there is no redness, then there is no allergy.

If you are not sure about the possibility of peeling, contact a specialist. A cosmetologist will examine you and select a procedure that suits you.

Despite the obvious benefits, you should not get too carried away with peeling. Cleansing procedures should be carried out only when necessary and only with the permission of a dermatologist.

Strictly observe the time frame: do not overexpose the preparations to the skin, maintain the required time intervals.

When using natural materials, for example fruit puree, this requirement is not as important as in the case of chemical solutions.

Chemical peeling is the removal of the upper layers of the dermis.

And thanks to this procedure, you can achieve a lifting effect, restore the protective properties of the skin and solve many aesthetic problems.

Chemical peels can be divided into three categories. Read on about this and much more.

Every woman wants to be well-groomed and beautiful and pays special attention to the condition of her face. To cleanse and rejuvenate the skin, remove age spots, various defects and irregularities, women have used various masks, decoctions and herbal tinctures since ancient times.

But all these means were ineffective. Modern cosmetology has made great strides forward and chemical peeling is now successfully used to restore and rejuvenate the skin.

What is it and types of cleaning

Facial peeling using chemicals is an active process of exfoliating the top layer of dead epidermal cells, stimulating the natural process of skin renewal. With the help of an individually selected chemical composition, various stains, defects and irregularities are removed and smoothed.

The natural protective functions of the body are activated, active production of hyaluronic acid begins, cells begin to produce large amounts of collagen and elastin, the surface becomes more elastic and taut.

Using chemical action, you can effectively cleanse your face of pigmentation and freckles (read about laser), remove spider veins (find out how this is done) and small expression wrinkles. This procedure effectively combats unevenness caused by various skin diseases.

With its help, you can smooth out scars, remove excessive redness and normalize the function of the skin glands.

Depending on the method, such cleaning is carried out using various acids: fruit, glycolic, salicylic, trichloroacetic and phenolic. Based on the strength and depth of penetration, they are distinguished between medium and light superficial. Most often, this peeling is used exclusively for the face, but it can also be used on other areas, such as the neck and décolleté.

Deep

This type is the most radical in its effect on the body and is carried out with the help of phenol. It is a very aggressive substance and penetrates very deeply into the lowest layers of the epidermis. Phenol is highly toxic and essentially destroys the upper layers of the skin, but this allows you to solve a number of serious problems that other methods cannot do.

This procedure is very painful and is performed only under general anesthesia in an outpatient setting at a cosmetology clinic.

During this procedure, the patient is sedated using painkillers. Duration from 20 to 60 minutes, depending on the size of the surface being treated and the number of defects.

After the procedure, the surface is covered with a protective crust, and severe redness and peeling may be observed. The recovery period lasts 3-4 weeks. Bed rest is recommended for the first week; the doctor may also prescribe a number of medications that will speed up healing and prevent the inflammatory process.

After exposure to the drugs, the surface becomes significantly lighter, so it is not recommended for patients with very dark skin color.

With the help of deep effects, you can remove strong pigmentation, remove scars and unevenness, even out deep wrinkles and remove vascular inflammation and other age-related changes.

Like any method, it has its pros and cons.

  • the method allows you to cope with deep wrinkles;
  • removes deep unevenness and strong pigmentation;
  • eliminates sagging and sagging;
  • It is more effective than dermabrasion;
  • One session is enough;
  • the effect lasts for several years.
  • very painful procedure;
  • long recovery period;
  • possible complications in the form of redness and hard crust;
  • not suitable for too dark skin;
  • high price.

See the results of a deep chemical peel:

Median

For this procedure, trichloroacetic, glycolic or salicylic acid is used. This method is less aggressive and does not act as actively and deeply as cleaning with phenol. But medium-impact peeling, as well as deep peeling, can remove deep wrinkles and reduce small pigmentary manifestations.

With it you can refresh and rejuvenate your face, remove small spider veins and smooth out scars and unevenness. This method is softer and is carried out in 3-4 sessions. The result of the median effect lasts about six months and, if necessary, it must be repeated.

The session is carried out in an outpatient setting and lasts from 20 to 60 minutes. The method does not require general anesthesia. To enhance the effect, special products are first applied to the surface. They soften the skin and prepare it for the main composition.

Chemical acids are then applied to penetrate the middle layers. During the session, the patient may experience a slight burning and tingling sensation.

After the procedure, the composition is removed with dry ice. There is slight redness and swelling that goes away within 24 hours.

Sometimes peeling and a feeling of tightness may appear. After this procedure, the complexion brightens a little or remains the same. The recovery period lasts 1-2 days, the face becomes smooth and radiant.

For a speedy recovery after chemical peeling for the face, a cosmetologist can select an individual skin care set: moisturizing or nourishing cream, special serum, vitamin mask and cleansing tonic.

You should also refrain from wearing decorative cosmetics; for the first 2-3 weeks you will need to apply sunscreen. Medium peeling is performed for patients of any age.

  • there is practically no pain;
  • allows you to remove small wrinkles and irregularities;
  • removes acne and inflammation;
  • removes puffiness and dark circles under the eyes;
  • evens out tone and adds shine;
  • eliminates slight flabbiness and sagging (RF-lifting can solve these problems);
  • improves complexion.
  • preliminary preparation is required;
  • the result is visible after 3-4 sessions;
  • unable to remove deep wrinkles and skin defects;
  • the effect lasts less than from phenol peeling;
  • quite high price.

Surface

This is the mildest type of chemical treatment; lactic and fruit acids (enzyme peeling) and a weak solution of trichloroacetic acid are used for it. Cosmetologists recommend superficial cleansing for young patients under the age of 40, when the first age-related changes and small wrinkles appear on the skin.

This method only affects the top layer and is not able to cope with wrinkles, large pigment spots and unevenness.

But it copes well with acne, seborrheic manifestations, improves the surface of the skin, and promotes active rejuvenation.

With this procedure you can get rid of small freckles, remove local redness and peeling. After superficial exposure, blood circulation improves, cells are actively saturated with oxygen, the face looks radiant and toned.

This procedure does not require preliminary preparation. It can be done in a salon or at home. Using a cotton pad, apply the active substance to the cleaned surface. Exposure time is 15-20 minutes.

The session is completely painless and does not require a recovery period. Superficial cleansing does not cause burning or redness, and the tone of the face does not change. After such cleansing, it is recommended to apply sunscreen.

  • absolutely painless method;
  • does not require preliminary preparation;
  • does not injure the skin and does not cause side effects;
  • does not change skin tone;
  • improves blood circulation;
  • actively rejuvenates and improves the structure of the dermis;
  • effective against acne;
  • inexpensive and accessible method.
  • unable to cope with wrinkles and age spots;
  • does not remove lumpiness and deep unevenness;
  • the result is visible after 5-6 procedures;
  • the effect lasts 1-2 months, then repeat is required.

Chemical peeling is an effective salon procedure that can help eliminate serious defects and make the face and body more youthful and beautiful. This method has no analogues; it can be used at any age.

A dermatocosmetologist will tell you more about chemical peeling:

To keep your skin smooth and clean, you should exfoliate it periodically to remove dead epidermal cells. At home, a procedure called peeling or exfoliation is usually done mechanically or chemically.

To cleanse and exfoliate the skin, the first method is to use various abrasives: sea salt, soda, ground apricot kernels or coffee beans. Mechanical peeling also includes brossage - polishing the skin with a special brush (brushing). Chemical peeling at home is done with compounds containing organic acids and enzymes. All this is available not only in beauty salons. So, how to do a chemical facial peel at home?

Features and types of exfoliation

The principle of action of compositions with acids is that they soften the stratum corneum of the epidermis, thereby facilitating the rejection of epithelial particles. Active peeling substances easily penetrate clogged pores, dissolving sebum and dirt there. As a result of the procedure, the surface of the face and body becomes smooth and soft, its color is evened out. Changes that are invisible to the eye, but generally important, also occur: cellular renewal is activated, the level of elastin and collagen - fibrillar proteins responsible for the elasticity of the skin - increases. Thus, home chemical peeling keeps your skin healthy and youthful.

Depending on the degree of acid exposure, the following types of exfoliation are distinguished:

  • superficial – affects only the stratum corneum, recommended for shallow wrinkles and pigmentation;
  • middle – destroys the epidermis to a granular layer, removes post-acne and blemishes, smoothes out scars;
  • deep – penetrates to the basement membrane, eliminates deep wrinkles, provides a lasting lifting effect.

It is acceptable to do superficial chemical peeling at home. You can use fruit acids for it. Medium or deep exfoliation is carried out under the supervision of a specialist. During it, phenolic, retinoic, concentrated trichloroacetic and salicylic acid are used. An important rule: it is recommended to do chemical peels from October to April - during the period when the sun is least active.

Contraindications to exfoliation with acids:

  • pregnancy and lactation;
  • herpes in the active phase, dermatitis, warts;
  • colds, elevated body temperature;
  • infectious diseases;
  • open wounds on the skin in the area of intended exposure;
  • oncological diseases;
  • allergy to peeling components;
  • chronic urticaria;
  • tendency to the appearance of keloid scars.

Phenol (deep) peeling should not be done to persons suffering from liver, kidney, cardiovascular diseases, or diabetes. It is not advisable to use acid-containing compounds on thin, dehydrated skin. All of them have depigmenting properties, so chemical peeling is not recommended for those with dark skin.

Peeling compositions

Commercially available chemical peels typically contain alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) or beta hydroxy acids (BHAs).

  • ANA acids include lactic, glycolic, mandelic, grape, citric, and malic. Peels based on them are suitable for those with dry and aging skin.
  • BHA, or salicylic acid, not only exfoliates, but also has an antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and sebum-regulating effect. It is recommended for oily, combination, problem skin.

For increased sensitivity and a tendency to irritation, polyhydroxy acids (PHAs) are more suitable: lactobionic acid and gluconolactone. They are similar in structure to alpha hydroxy acids, but have a milder effect. Azelaic acid, obtained from cereal crops such as rye, barley, and wheat, copes well with excessive skin pigmentation. It also has antimicrobial properties and relieves skin rashes.

Among exfoliation products, it is worth highlighting gommage - a cream that combines the qualities of chemical and mechanical peeling. It works on the principle of an eraser, contains gentle enzymes and fruit acids, moisturizing, soothing and nutrients. Delicate gommage is recommended for sensitive and thin skin. If you are prone to rosacea, it can be applied to the face, but cannot be rolled off - only washed off.

Is it possible to prepare facial gommage at home? Yes, for this you will need:

  • semolina – 3 tea. l.;
  • oatmeal – 3 tea. l.;
  • kefir - 1 table. l.;
  • lemon juice - 1 tea. l.;
  • sour apple juice – 1 tea l.

The semolina is infused for 5–7 minutes, adding a small amount of boiled water (40 degrees). In a separate bowl, mix freshly squeezed juices and oatmeal. The mixture is combined with swollen semolina. Kefir is also added there. The gommage is applied to a clean, dry face and then massaged into the skin with light movements. After drying, the composition must be delicately rolled up. At the end, wash with warm water and apply a moisturizing or nourishing cream.

3 fruit peeling recipes

If you decide to do chemical facial peeling at home and have not chosen any recipes, then there is one piece of advice: use safe and proven ones. Let the main components of your compositions be fruits and berries containing useful acids and vitamins. Cosmetologist Olga Metelskaya advises using citrus fruits, such as grapefruits or oranges, for exfoliation.

Grapefruit peeling

Squeeze the juice from the citrus pulp and take 4 teaspoons. Mix them with the same amount of natural yogurt. For thickness, add white uncooked rice flour. As a result, you should have a mixture with the consistency of liquid sour cream.

How to peel:

  • Apply the composition to clean skin with a brush or cotton pad, avoiding the eye and lip area.
  • Wait until the first layer dries. Then apply the second and third.
  • Leave the composition on your face for a quarter of an hour.
  • During this time, the mixture will form a cake, which must first be soaked, and only then washed off with warm water.

Orange peeling

You will need 4 heaping teaspoons of chopped citrus pulp. Add coffee grounds (2 teaspoons) and flower honey (1 teaspoon) to them. Mix everything. The resulting mass is spread on the face with a cosmetic spatula or spoon, left for 10–15 minutes, and then washed off. Those with oily skin can do fruit peeling every other day, dry skin – once every 4 days. The full course consists of 10 procedures.

Apple peeling

Chemical peeling for the face can be made using apples. They contain both BHA and AHA acids: malic, tartaric, citric, salicylic. To prepare an exfoliating mask, take a quarter of a large apple. If you have oily skin, choose sour fruits. Peel the apple and grate it on a fine grater. To the resulting puree add 5 ml of olive, sesame or flaxseed oil and a tablespoon of semolina.

Apply the composition to a cleansed face in a thick layer. After 10–15 minutes, remove the peeling mask with a damp towel, wash and apply cream. The procedure must be repeated every two days. The result of peeling will be noticeable after 5 sessions.

It is important not only to know how to do a chemical peel at home, but also how to care for your skin after it. After exfoliation, you need to restore the damaged barrier layer and water balance. Foams and gels for sensitive skin are suitable for these purposes. On the third day, you can use nourishing creams and serums. The greatest danger to the thinned epidermis is the sun's rays, so you need to use a protective cream for 2 weeks after peeling. It is undesirable to appear outside in frosty and windy weather, to go to the solarium, sauna, or swimming pool. Try to touch your face with your hands as little as possible. Give up decorative cosmetics for a while.

Are you afraid of complications after salon peelings? Do you think that they will cause serious, long-lasting burns and other damage to the skin? Do you want to find a recipe for a natural composition that can effectively cleanse your skin of dead cells? Don't know how to care for your face after such a procedure? We will tell you everything you wanted to know.

What information will you find out:

Why is peeling performed?

The processes of regeneration, rejuvenation and effective renewal are launched

Everyday washing with soap, and even more so with cosmetic milk or lotion, does not remove dead cells of the stratum corneum that have accumulated on the surface of the skin, preventing it from breathing, absorbing nutrients from masks, creams, and also actively renewing itself, thereby contributing to its withering and premature aging .

Deep and effective removal of the dead layer is ensured by special compositions - peelings, which remove all excess from its surface. After such treatment, the epidermis begins increased production of its own collagen and elastin, which serve as the basic framework of the skin at the cellular level. The processes of regeneration, rejuvenation and effective renewal are also launched.

What is the difference between home peeling and salon peeling?

You will never get burns or red spots from home peelings

You need to understand that homemade natural compositions are the safest for the skin, since they carefully and accurately remove the dead stratum corneum, while simultaneously ensuring the supply of vitamins, minerals and microelements that are important for the health of the epidermis.

However, they act only on the surface and in the upper layers of the epidermis, while chemical types of peelings can penetrate deeply, reaching the middle layers of the dermis itself. For this reason, home peeling will not rid your skin of wrinkles, age spots, scars left after acne, but with regular use it will noticeably improve its condition, increase turgor density, elasticity and provide a healthy complexion. In addition, from home peels you will never get burns and red spots that do not disappear within 2 to 3 weeks.

To ensure that peeling goes without consequences, pay close attention to the following tips and recommendations.

  • Always perform a session on clean skin, free from daytime dirt and makeup residues, otherwise they can penetrate deep into the pores and lead to unwanted inflammatory reactions.
  • Prepare the peeling mass in small quantities, preferably for one use, since such natural compositions have a short shelf life.
  • Do not peel if your skin has wounds, cuts, herpes, fungal infections or other dermatological problems that require treatment under the supervision of a specialist.
  • Before applying any new composition to your face, be sure to test for an allergic reaction to avoid complications such as swelling, redness of the skin, peeling and itching.
  • Always avoid the eye and lip areas when applying such products.
  • If a rejection reaction to the peeling composition occurs, immediately take any antihistamine (anti-allergic) and visit a doctor.
  • This procedure is best done in the evening so that the skin recovers overnight and is not sensitive to any weather conditions.
  • Keep the peeling compositions on the skin for 5 to 15 minutes, after which they are thoroughly and carefully washed off first with warm and then cool water (boiled or filtered).
  • Finally, a light moisturizing gel or cream is applied to the skin according to your skin type, which contains anti-inflammatory and nutrients.

To obtain a visible effect, the selected recipe is used in courses - 2 times a week for 1-2 months.
