When making a template for a box, measure it - boxes have different thicknesses and if there is an error, you will have to print a new one.
Check the template dimensions and set yours in the program’s printing options. Try printing out the boxing draft and see if the template meets your ideas of beauty and technical parameters.
You can print the cover template from or from another program that you are used to. On plain paper or photo paper. It looks better on photo paper, but if the practicality toad has started and is sharpening, just buy thinner and cheaper photo paper. This option is suitable both in price and in terms of color rendering quality. If you don’t have a printer at home, you’ll have to go to a copy center to print out the cover for the DVD box.
Another sad thing that often befalls printer owners is color rendition. Everything may look luxurious on the monitor, but when printed on photo paper or disk it looks faded. Although the disc has a special white side for printing, although it is called Printable, it does not look as clear on it as on the monitor. Quite an interesting coating on DVD discs for printing can be multi-layered, with mother-of-pearl effects. But abstract ones look better on this than photographs of a couple in love or objects.
Once the blowing template for the disc blank is ready, it can be printed on a printer that has a disc printing function. We recommend using original paints for such work. No matter how much interchangeable ink is praised, it still fades. The printer has a special program in which you can create your own disk template. They rarely work with images in Photoshop format; usually you have to convert the file to jpg.
If, having looked around the house, you were unable to find a printer that prints on disks, then you need to copy the file in psd format to a flash drive (just in case, in another format - jpg) and go along with the disk and box to the nearest copy center. Or even call the nearest copy centers in advance and find out if they can realize your bold dream - print an image on a disk?
Everything else is prosaic and simple - find, pay, receive.
