An elegant dress for a girl for the New Year, crocheted. How to crochet a snowflake dress for a girl: diagram and description

Original

A snowflake or princess dress will be a combination of two parts: a crocheted yoke and a tulle skirt. At the first stage of knitting, you need to calculate the number of loops for the yoke. This is the most difficult thing, and then go according to your idea, how you see a New Year's crochet dress with tulle for a girl.

First, let's come up with an image. Its basis will be the yoke pattern. I decided to choose a simpler option - a classic square yoke with raglan sleeves and fillet knitting. See the diagram below.

Yarn selection

Now we choose yarn and a hook for the New Year's dress. The chosen hook and yarn determine how many loops will need to be cast on for the collar and how many rows to knit, as well as the density of the knitting. For example, if you use a hook that is too thin, the knitting fabric will be dense and stiff. This is unlikely to please the delicate skin of children.

I chose YarnART Violet light turquoise yarn. Hook - 1.5 mm.

Yoke calculation

Now you need to take measurements. It is necessary to measure the circumference of the neck and chest. Next I will describe the pattern of how I knitted it for my daughter Alice (3 years 4 months, height 95 cm). She got the parameters:

  • Neck circumference (Obsh) = 25 cm,
  • Bust circumference (CG) = 52 cm.

Calculate the knitting density. To do this, knit a square with double crochets, and determine the number of loops in multiples of centimeters. I have 9 dc, approximately 2 cm. (dc – double crochet)

I decided to make the neckline of the yoke 37-38 cm, so that it would be free on the neck. This is approximately 37 cm x 9 dc / 2 cm = 166.5 loops. But this is not a finite number.

We divide the resulting 166.5 loops by 3, we get 55.5 loops for each part of the yoke knitting:

  • 1/3 on the chest,
  • 1/3 on the back, 1/6 on each shelf,
  • 1/3 for both sleeves, i.e. 1/6 per sleeve.

Now let’s figure out how many loops will go where, taking into account that according to the rapport of the crochet dress pattern I have chosen, it is necessary that each part of the yoke has an odd number of loops. I got the following:

  • on the chest – 55 loops
  • 27 loops on the back shelves
  • There are 27 loops per sleeve shelf.

In total, you need to dial 55 + 27x2 + 27x2 = 163 loops plus 3 lifting loops.

The process of knitting a yoke

The length of the raglan is limited to the child's shoulders. I stopped knitting when the width of the chest part became 19 cm. After that, I no longer knitted the sleeves, but knitted 6 rows of only the back and chest panels. Thus, I increased the armhole height sufficiently.

After that, I calculated how many loops were needed according to the circumference of the chest. To do this, we calculate OG (chest girth) = 52 cm and add a margin of 3 cm so that the dress does not become too tight. It turns out that the girth of the dress = 55 cm. This size corresponds to 55x9/2 = 247 loops.

Count the total amount of loops on the back and chest panels that are already knitted. I got 197 loops.

We count: 247-197 = 50 loops - this number of loops is not enough to close the yoke in a circle. Divide the number in half. We get 25 air loops that need to be picked up under each armhole to continue knitting the dress.

Tie the required height of the yoke. For me it ends under the bust, and after that there will be a tulle skirt.

Tulle skirt

Now you need to make a tulle skirt. There are several options:

  • sew tulle directly to the knitted yoke;
  • fasten the tulle to the VP arches on the yoke;
  • fasten the tulle to an elastic band and sew to the yoke;
  • fasten the tulle to an elastic band for headbands and sew.

I chose the last option. So tulle can be placed in several layers. I made the top one blue and the bottom one white. It turned out very airy and snowy.

Then just sew this skirt to the yoke and you will get a dress.

Sew a zipper or button on the back of the dress.
In the video you can see several ways to make a tutu skirt from tulle:

New Year's crochet dress with tulle for girls

Crocheting a dress for a girl is a rewarding task. Delicate, elegant, light, airy - anything suits your taste. You can knit whatever your heart desires - there are countless styles, there are as many reasons as you like, there are no limits to creativity and desire.

  • Envelope dress for discharge from the maternity hospital,
  • white on the christening yoke,
  • magnificent graduation with rhinestones,
  • summer sundress for a trip to grandma,
  • warm tunic for autumn walks,
  • with a long or short skirt, with sleeves or one shoulder, with frills or pleats - crocheted dresses for girls are so good that they, like adult dresses, are given names, only more gentle: “Canary”, “Pretty”, “Rose”, “Flower Fairy”, “Sun”.

We knit and educate

In a crochet dress, no girl will be left without attention. The unique outfit is looked at by girlfriends, teachers, and other mothers. For boys, a “lace” girl is the most beautiful.

A crochet dress is an opportunity for dialogue between mother and daughter. Together you can discuss the future style, color and at the same time start learning to knit. It’s not for nothing that there are so many fairy tales where a craft mastered in childhood saved one from trouble. A dress tied to her mother will do more to turn a girl into a happy woman than a few educational conversations.

There is no need to waste time shopping in search of a “super outfit”. It's better to tie him up. Crochet. The way you want. For both mother and her little princess daughter.

Crochet children's dress - Maria's work

My name is Maria. I knitted this dress for my 2.5 year old daughter. For the dress I used 100% Egyptian mercerized cotton Anna-16 (100 g = 530 m). It took 3 skeins. Crocheted No. 2.5. I saw this dress on the Internet, but in a different color.

A fan pattern was used for the yoke. For the skirt and sleeves there is a “ruffle pattern”. I tied the ruffles of the skirt and the armholes like this: ch 3, 1 double crochet in the same loop, fasten ch, skip 3 loops and into the 4th loop with a single crochet. I present to you a dress for a girl living far abroad - in Germany. She chose her own outfit on the Internet, and her mother was present nearby. The girl and my mother really liked many of my works, but especially the “Canary” dress. The size of the dress they ordered is much larger than my first option.

When knitting, I increased the number of repeats in the yoke from 10 to 12. After knitting the yoke, I added 8 rows with the “Tulip” pattern. Along the back I knitted a “sprout” of 4 rows with the same pattern. To make the dress more magnificent, I increased the number of repeats in the flounces. In the first from 12 to 18. In the second from 18 to 24.

The binding of each shuttlecock was made wider by increasing the rows in the “Shell”. The flounce became longer and the length of the entire dress became 12 cm longer: from 40 cm it increased to 52 cm. The dress was ordered for a family celebration and I really wanted the baby to look festive.

Now about the main thing. Yarn 100% cotton. In 100 g - 800 m. Hook No. 1.0. Thread consumption 250 g. The yoke, flounce and belt are decorated with roses and pearl beads. The leaves are knitted from gilded thread. A net is knitted under each shuttlecock (1 st.n, 1 ch, 1 st. n, 1 ch, etc.).

Set: dress and hat for a 3-4 year old girl. Crocheted No. 1.0 from 100% Italian cotton. In 100 gr. - 800 m. Yarn consumption 210 g. Bust circumference - 54 cm, length - 50 cm. Round yoke. The number of rapports in the yoke is 12. First, I knitted a sample to determine their number. If the yoke turns out to be narrow, it needs to be expanded by adding several rows of binding or making several initial rows with double crochets.

The skirt is knitted with the “Spikelet” pattern. The yoke, skirt and sleeves are tied with a Picot binding. The crown of the hat is knitted with a “Spikelet” pattern, the brim of the hat is knitted with a “Shell” pattern. Decorated with flowers. Decorated with beautiful flowers and several belts tied with ribbon lace. The color of the dress is associated with the arrival of spring. Works by Valentina Litvinova.

Dress for a girl 1.5 - 2 years old. Delicate, bright, beautiful dress is crocheted from 100% Italian cotton. 100 g - 800 m. Yarn consumption 150 g. Attracts attention with its fantasy, romantic knitting pattern and snowy white color. Decorated along the yoke and bottom of the dress with romantic roses and beads. Will decorate a little girl at a birthday party, party, dance, prom and other special events. I started knitting from the yoke with the “Pineapple” pattern, then I started knitting the hem with the “Goats” pattern and along the bottom of the dress again with the “Pineapple” pattern. The belt is knitted with ribbon lace. Knitting patterns can be changed depending on the size of the dress. Schemes are attached. Work by Valentina Litvinova.

The dress turned out to be 1-1.5 years old. This is my first dress, I saw the design from Valentina Litvinova, I used vita coco threads, it took a lot of 5.5 skeins, 2 hooks, I knitted the lantern sleeve according to the description from the Internet. The yoke is the simplest square, then there is a belt of ribbon lace, then a hem. I knitted everything according to the patterns.

Three-color dress from Rena Lange designed by me. This dress is actually knitted very easily and quickly. The original color was red, I only had turquoise on hand. Knit according to the pattern, although I knitted the black element in my own way and experimented.

The original dress was knitted for an adult, size 44, and I knitted it for a 10-year-old girl (the size is adjusted according to the number of blue elements from hip to hip). Black and turquoise threads were taken from cotton sunshine, and the white thread was taken loose to enhance the visual effect (delicate pekhorka summer series), hook No. 2. Multi-level crochet dress for the New Year

An outfit of this type is suitable for girls under 4-5 years old.

The beginning of knitting is a square yoke with shoulder bevels. The dialed number of loops must be divided into 4 parts for the front, sleeves and back, and the number of loops for each part may differ.

yoke knitting pattern

Now calculate the length of the armhole. To do this, divide the half-circumference of the chest by 4 and add 7 loops.

In the next row after the armhole, add the missing number of loops (air loops) for the armpits to create a bust circumference. Knit with a net as before, making extensions at regular intervals.

Every sixth, fifth or seventh row will have ruffles, so the length of the product should be divisible by six, five or seven, respectively.

Crochet snowflake dress for a New Year's party in kindergarten for a girl 5 - 7 years old: photo, diagram, description

For a matinee for a 5-7 year old girl, a light openwork lace dress is perfect, under which you can wear a fluffy skirt and a thin blouse. Since it's a holiday, choose appropriate decorations. Tiara, earrings, belt, shoes. Your daughter will be the most beautiful at the holiday!

Necessary materials:

  • 1. Pink yarn 100% cotton with lurex – 100 grams.
  • 2. Hook 2.5.
  • 3. Multi-colored tulle (pink, lilac and white) - 1 meter of each color.
  • 4. Satin ribbon in tulle color of varying widths (from 0.5 cm to 5 cm).
  • 5. Ribbon of pink sequins – 5 meters.
  • 6. Scissors.
  • 7. Cotton threads.
  • 8. Glue gun.

Take padding polyester. Cover it with damp gauze and steam with an iron. It is important that the padding polyester is even. Now you need to mark the fabric into identical strips, according to diagram 1.

Please note that the length of the strips depends on the length you need.

Thus, we cut each color of tulle.

We should get identical stripes. Approximately 15 pieces of each color.

We will start creating the young fairy's dress from the top. To do this, we need to cast on a chain of 130 air loops. The number of loops depends on the circumference. To correctly calculate the required number of loops, measure the circumference of your child's chest. Record the data. Then, knit a chain of 10 chain stitches and measure its length. This way we can calculate exactly how many loops we need.

For example. Chest circumference of a 5 year old girl = 50 cm.

A knitted chain of 10 chain stitches is 7 cm. Therefore, about 75 stitches are needed.

Having typed the chain, we connect it into a ring. We will knit in the round. We knit 36 rows with half double crochets. If the thread is thin, then it is better to knit in single crochets. It’s the same here, the number of rows depends on the required length of the upper part of the dress.

The drawing should not be transparent.

We knit the 37th row with arches of air loops: 4 air loops, 1 connecting loop in every 3 loops of the previous row.

We knit the entire row.

Row 38: we tie the arches with single crochets.

So, now we take one of the tulle strips. We pass it through the “air arch”. Align the ends. The length of each strip should be the same. Then we tie a small knot. This is one option if you do not have a thin satin ribbon 0.5 cm wide.

You can secure tulle in another way, more elegant. Take a satin ribbon in the color of tulle. Cut strips 50 cm long.

Thread the tulle through the arches in the same way, but do not tie it into a knot. Now take a satin ribbon and tie it at the base, don’t forget about the bow.

When the skirt is ready, let's start decorating it. Take a pink sequin ribbon. Take it apart into separate sequins and glue them with a glue gun onto each strip of tulle. To make the skirt seem more shiny and magical, increase the number of sequins.

The skirt is already ready. Let's start with the straps. Take the pink cotton thread again. Measure out the required distance for the straps (note that there will be three braids on each side). Fasten the thread. Knit a chain of tight chain stitches of the required length.

We secure the end.

We knit two more braids in the front and three from the back of the dress.

On the other hand, exactly the same.

Straighten the satin ribbons.

Well, the little fairy’s dress with her own hands is almost ready. All that remains is to make a decorative flower for the straps. Take a satin ribbon 5 cm wide. Cut two strips about 12 cm long.

One of the outfit options for your little fashionista to go to the New Year's party could be this dress - light, weightless and fluffy at the same time due to the many frills. And you can complement the ensemble with a pendant in the shape of a flower, knitted from the same yarn, or any other suitable decoration, and, of course, a princess crown.

And if on the eve of the holidays you are concerned about the question of where to buy gifts for the New Year 2014 for your family and friends, then you can solve this problem by visiting the pages of the site ecolinas.ru. A wide range of bedding, table linen, and linen products will not leave you indifferent.

To crochet a dress for the New Year for a girl aged 5 years, you will need:

300 g yarn (100% acrylic, 275 m/50 g), hook number 2.

Description of crocheting an elegant dress for a girl:

Basis for the dress: make a chain of 220 vp, connect them in a circle. Knit in the round, first 1 row with non-woven stitches. Then link a snippet like this:
1st-15th row: with the pattern shown in diagram 1.
16th row: *1 single column under the arch of 5 air stitches. previous row, 3 ch*, and so on until the end of the row;
17th row: there will be a row of stiffness, knit it with non-woven stitches.
Repeat rows 1 through 17 twice more. Thus, after this you will have 3 rows of stiffness, and it is to them that the frills will be attached in the future.
Knit 2 fragments again from the 1st to the 17th row (that is, 2 repetitions according to pattern 1 and +16th and 17th row, as described), similar to those described above, but increase the number of loops in the arches to 6, and in the 16th row, knit 4 chain stitches between the stitches.
And knit 2 more of the same fragments, only now increase the number of loops in the arches to 7, and in the 16th row knit 5 chain loops between the non-woven columns.
As a result, you will have 7 fragments, which, accordingly, will contain 7 rows of stiffness.

Frill: attach the thread to a single crochet located under the arch of 5 air loops in the row of stiffness. If the air loop arches are attached correctly, the frills will lie on the base of the dress with some offset, which will slightly reduce the transparency of the dress.
Start knitting the 1st, 2nd and 3rd frills with the pattern shown in diagram 1. In the 4th row, increase the number of air loops in the arches by 1 (i.e. knit arches from 6 vp, and subsequently in every 4th row, add the number of vp in the arches). In total, knit 15 rows like this. Tie the last row of arches with single crochets.
Knit the fourth and fifth frills in the same way, but start not with 5 stitches in the arches, but with 6 stitches. Start the seventh frill with 7 chain loops, and, as before, in every 4th row add 1 loop to the chain loops in the arches.
You should have 7 frills in total.

Straps: fold the finished dress in half, step back 5 cm from the side edge for the armhole and attach the thread. Tie a chain of 60 chain loops, then attach the end of the chain on the other side, also stepping back 5 cm from the corresponding side edge. Tie the resulting thin chain on both sides with single crochets. Tie the second strap in the same way as the first.

Collar: It is also a frill, which is knitted similarly to the first frill, starting with 5 chain loops and ending with 9 chain loops, along the entire upper edge of the dress, including the straps. Bend the resulting frill and tie the edge with single crochets.
