We figured out how to create various flowers from satin material. And now, to change the topic a little, let’s look at the work of making aerial flowers from nylon tape. We will need:

Our nylon tape should be 3.5 cm wide and 50 cm long. We mark 10 cm segments with a pencil. Thus, we have five 10 cm segments. After this, we sew the entire tape from start to finish. Then we go down to the main line of our sewing and continue it until the very end.

You can make any flowers from ribbons, not just roses or peonies. Now we will look at how to make chrysanthemums from satin ribbons. To do this we need to prepare:

Felt circle with a diameter of 2.5 cm;

White satin ribbon up to 1 cm wide and yellow ribbon of the same width;

Cut pieces of white satin ribbon 3.5 cm long. These will be the blanks for the petals. We cut off each piece at one end, giving it a sharper shape, and burn the cut edge. It is folded in half and stitched at the same time. The thread is then tightened to form an accordion. We roll this so-called accordion into a tube. It turns out to be something like the center of the flower, and it really looks like its middle. And now all we have to do is glue this center in place, in the very center of our chrysanthemum.
