Christmas

A series of master classes on how to decorate your pen. Lemur, Pikachu, Whiskers or just a rainbow case.

A multi-colored pencil case is woven on forks. For the first row, you need to connect the outer teeth of the forks with loops in the form of a figure eight. When weaving the next row, the elastic bands are put on the same teeth without twisting, and the bottom row is thrown up. This way the cover is woven to the required length.

After finishing the work, the case is attached to the pencil with the first and last row of rubber bands.

Idea: You can weave a cover for a child’s brush so that it doesn’t rub or slip in the handle.

Lemur on the handle

To weave a lemur you will need a long loom. All rubber bands, except the first one, are taken in pairs.

  • Head. We throw a single elastic band over the two central posts. We fill the head, top with blue, then white elastic bands. We close the set on the central column.
  • Neck and body. They will be blue. For the neck you need to take three elastic bands. From the neck, 1 pair to the right, 3 pairs down. We perform the left part symmetrically; we put 4 pairs of elastic bands on the central posts. We close the circle.
  • Tail. The tail has alternating blue and white elastic bands. The tail part is made separately on a hook and attached to the weaving on a machine.
  • The paws are woven from blue and white elastic bands on the side posts of the machine. A single rubber band is placed over the last column of paws in four turns. The right row will be the front paw. We weave it up to the body and transfer it to the upper columns of the body.
  • We strengthen the torso. We throw three blue elastic bands in a triangle from top to bottom.
  • Ears. We take blue and white elastic bands and throw them on the first two columns of the right and left rows. We close with an elastic band in four turns and weave.
  • Eyes. We take a white elastic band, twist it in half and throw it over the lower columns of the head. We screw black rubber bands onto the same columns 4 turns, put a white rubber band on a triangle, and transfer the black ones to it.
  • Lemur assembly. Let's start weaving. First we make the tail, then the hind legs. They must be attached to the lower right column of the body. Next we weave the body and head and tighten the last loop. We remove the lemur from the machine and hide the tail of the loop inside.

Mustache on a handle

The mustache is made from rubber bands of the same color. First the right part is woven, then the left, at the last stage they are connected on the machine.

  • The ends of the mustache are made using a hook. Then the loops are transferred to two posts of the machine diagonally.
  • The central thickening of the mustache is woven on the machine. To avoid confusion, after completing the right side of the mustache, an elastic band of a contrasting color is added to the posts.
  • The left side of the work is repeated symmetrically.
  • Both parts are connected together, tightened with the last loop.

Pikachu

Pikachu weaves on a machine. Each working ring consists of a pair of rubber bands.

  • Head. The head is typed from the upper central column. One loop diagonally to the right, two down and one to the left. The second side is performed symmetrically. 3 pairs of elastic bands are put on in the center. Inside the head is strengthened by two triangles.
  • Eyes. They can be made from beads or black rubber bands.
  • The ears are crocheted separately and connected to the head.
  • Body. The transition from head to body is made with one triple loop. Next, the torso is assembled: a pair to the right diagonally for the shoulders, 3 pairs of elastic bands down, one pair to the left and down to round the torso. The left side is typed in the same way. Four pairs of elastic bands are collected down the central row.
  • The tail is made of three pairs of elastic bands, is buried in a quadruple loop on the last column and is braided to the body.
  • The legs (front and back) are made from five pairs of elastic bands and are closed with a triple loop on the last post.
  • The front paws trail from the left row and are transferred to the figure’s shoulders.
  • The hind legs trail to the body and spread to the opposite right column.
  • At this stage, the body of the figure is assembled.
  • Head braiding. In the process of working with the right and left edges of the head, cheeks made of red rubber bands are added. The last loop of the head is secured with a single loop.
  • The figurine is carefully removed from the machine.

Idea: These figures can be used to decorate cocktail straws at themed parties.

Many needlewomen weave figurines of various animals from rubber bands. Such a gift will bring joy to the owner. Today we will look at how to weave a lemur from rubber bands.

To work you will need:

  1. Colored rubber bands.
  2. A machine that will make handicraft easier.
  3. A hook will be needed to grab the elastic bands.
  4. Experienced craftswomen advise purchasing a special set. It contains the necessary accessories. Choose your own rubber bands and weaving pattern.

This wonderful animal is loved by children and adults. Schoolchildren place the lemur on a pen or pencil. The tail and paws of the lemur are strengthened around the writing object. The figurine looks funny. Weaving trains finger motor skills and forces you to show creativity. Place one elastic band on the first two cells of the central row of the machine. Transfer 2 more from the middle to the side posts.

The next step is to string two white elastic bands onto the central part of the post. Then add two white rubber bands (hereinafter referred to as R.) on the second and third columns.

Design the lemur's head. To do this, put two rainbow R. on the third side columns, moving them from the fourth middle one. Weave the neck, stringing three white R. on the fourth and fifth central columns.

Go to the body of the animal. Wear four pairs of R. in the center, and one less on the sides (three). Carry out the rounding by moving the R. from the sides to the center.

Using alternating white and colored P's, create a rainbow tail. The machine allows you to make it of short length. Then braid the ponytail using a hook. Pick up the lower R. and throw them onto the previous columns.

There should be two legs intertwined. One on each side of the body. To do this, you have to hook one R. three times from each edge.

Weave the eyes with black R. Proceed to forming the ears. String 3 triangles on the lemur's body.

First weave the legs, and when ready, remove them from the machine.

Use this technique to knit the neck, head and body. Make a loop at the top and remove the product.

In a similar way, you can weave a lemur figurine from short R. The weaving technique will not differ. To work, you will need a machine with the central row extended by one column. It is located in such a way that the open rows face to the right.

You won't be able to weave a lemur without tools. If you don’t have to use a machine or a fork to weave a bracelet, then it’s impossible to make a funny animal using this technique. To better understand the lesson, watch the video or look at the step-by-step photos.

The lemur is a wonderful long-tailed animal that lives on the coast of the Indian Ocean on the island of Madagascar. Vegetation of impressive size grows in this area. A striking example is the baobab tree. There are 55 species of lemurs in Madagascar. This animal has one external feature - a long tail. He is his faithful assistant when moving, because he is entrusted with a responsible mission, such as balancing. Thanks to him, animals become invulnerable; they can easily climb the tallest trees. These are heat-loving inhabitants of Madagascar who enjoy sunbathing. Most species are on the verge of extinction and are listed in the Red Book. Let's try, using rubber bands, to weave this harmless and rare animal. Such an animal can settle on a pencil or pen. Children will certainly love this idea.

How to weave a lemur from rubber bands and what will you need to buy for this? For weaving you will need colored and plain rings. However, the choice of rubber bands is not limited and it is possible to use a combination of different contrasting colors.

For weaving, the best option is to use a three-row loom and crochet hook.

Before starting weaving, it is better to position the machine with the side facing you. The central column should rise slightly above the outer ones. When starting work, you need to pick up one rubber band and put it on the machine tool. Next, take two units each, which must be strung from the central to the side ones. Now we string two light elastic bands along the central column. Now we put two elastic bands on the outer pins. Now we proceed to rounding the workpiece, which is the lemur’s head. To do this, from the middle fourth column we string two rings onto the third side ones.

Let's start weaving the neck. To do this: string three light elastic bands onto the fourth and fifth central pins (the number depends on the hardening of this part of the lemur).

Let's move on to working on the animal's body. We place four pairs of rubber bands along the central part of the machine (starting from the fifth column). We put three pairs of elastic bands on the sides. We round the body by putting on rubber bands from the middle pin to the side columns of the machine.

Let's start working with the tail, where we use a hook. It is better to weave a tail by alternating white and colored threads on the central column. The length can be adjusted at your own discretion.

Making lemur paws. We put five pairs of rubber bands on each side on the side posts of the machine, starting from the rounded body.

After the work has been completed, we begin weaving expressive eyes. For this purpose, we will use black rings, which we will wrap around the third side column twice symmetrically to the working machine. First, it was necessary to put a white rubber band across the head on the third side pins.

Let's move on to weaving the ears of this wonderful animal. To do this, put one white and one colored elastic band on the first and second columns, then wrap the first outer column with an elastic band three times. In this way we manipulate the other side - this will be the second ear.

Our work moves on to the weaving stage, after which we can remove the lemur from the loom.
