Eustoma from beads. DIY beaded flowers, delicate eustoma Beadwork eustoma

With your own hands

Spring is the time of flowering, the awakening of nature. This is the time when you want to fill your home with beautiful flowers, refresh and renew it. In this master class I would like to invite you to make an unusual flower from beads - eustoma - with your own hands.

The pattern for weaving eustoma is used from the book by Elena Bashkatova. If desired, it can be transformed, added or reduced in the number of parts.

To weave a flower, you need to prepare the following materials:

- small round beads (size No. 12-15) of several shades (white-milky, green-lime);

- beads No. 10 yellow shades;

— 4 green beads with a diameter of 5 mm;

- wire for weaving petals and leaves and rods for the flower stem;

- green florist tape, wire cutters.

For one petal we take 82 cm of wire, the central axis consists of 10 white beads. We weave in arcs, forming a pointed petal.

We string green beads at the bottom of the petal, so the flower will look more natural. Each flower consists of five petals. For the pestle, take 20 cm of wire, string 6 light yellow beads onto it and twist them into a loop. One end of the wire should be repeated through the first 4 beads (according to the diagram), then put 4 more beads on the wire and twist. We perform the second part in the same way, twist them together - this is the pistil of the flower. We make the stamens by placing 7 yellow beads on the wire and twisting them into a loop. For one flower we make 4 stamens.

Now let's start weaving the sepals. A total of 5 of them need to be completed. for each flower from green and light green beads (for buds - 3 pcs.). We weave according to the pattern on a wire 45 cm long. Eustoma flower assembly: we string a bead onto a pestle and attach it to the rigid wire of the stem. We place the stamens around it, then the flower petals overlapping each other, and at the end the sepals. We decorate the stem with green floral tape.

To make a bud, we take 60 cm of wire and according to scheme 4 we make 4 petals. We weave sepals to them. For a smaller bud, three petals woven in a pattern of 3 and three sepals are enough. Bud assembly: We put a round bead on a thick wire, place the petals around it, and then the sepals. We wrap it with tape and attach it to the common stem.

We perform green leaves according to scheme 7 (these are the largest), you can make leaves of different sizes, to do this you just need to reduce the number of steps. This technique is reminiscent of arc weaving, but there is a base, and the rows are woven on each side at different ends of the wire. Each new row is attached to the previous one at a certain level, and then turns down to the base. The finished eustoma flower can be planted, filled with plaster and placed in a pot, sprinkled with artificial greenery. Let such a delicate composition of beads bring spring to your home!

This beautiful snow-white Eustoma flower was made by the golden hands of a wonderful beadwork master - Elena Bashkatova! If you would like to view more of her work, please visit her page Beads.info. At the moment, you can already find many variations of Eustoma on the Internet, but they are all based on this weaving principle, slightly modernized and refined.

Necessary materials for weaving a flower:

Small round beads (from No. 15 to No. 12) white, pearl white, transparent white, green, light green
- Medium beads (No. 10) yellow and light yellow colors
- 4 green beads 5 mm in diameter
- One oval bead
- Wire 0.3 mm
- Wire 1 mm and 2 mm for flower stems
- Green thread No. 30 for winding rods
- Scissors and nippers
- Glue

EUSTOMA WEAVING SCHEME:

1. We begin weaving the flower. For it we will need five white petals, woven according to pattern 1. We weave a pointed leaf using the French technique. Cut the wire 82 cm, place 10 white beads on the central row and continue weaving in arcs according to the pattern.

2. Making stamens and pistil. Cut a 20 cm wire, pick up 6 light yellow beads, twist a loop, pass one wire through 4 beads (as seen in diagram 2, Fig. a), put on 4 beads and twist. Make a second similar piece, twist it together and the pestle is ready. Now make 4 stamens from below, each consisting of seven yellow beads twisted into a loop (Fig. b).

3. Weaving sepals. According to the pattern, you need to weave 5 sepals from green and light green beads. Cut the wire 45 cm and weave according to the diagram. Then place a bead on the pistil and wrap the flower stem below. Place white petals overlapping around the center, and sepals under them. Wrap the leg with thread.

4. Making a bud. Cut the wire 60 cm and weave 4 petals according to pattern 4. Next, according to scheme 5, weave the sepals on a wire of 40 cm each. Now we are weaving a smaller bud, make 3 petals according to pattern 6 and three sepals according to pattern 5. Place the bead on a thick wire and place the petals around it, then the sepals, secure and wrap the stem with threads.

5. Weave green leaves. Based on diagram 7, you need to weave several sizes of leaves. Make the largest ones according to the diagram, and then simply reduce the number of steps, which will automatically shorten the leaf. All leaves are woven in 2 pieces. (see photo of the finished flower).

When collecting a flower, connect the branches of the flower and the bud, twist them together, place the leaves and then wrap them with green thread to hide traces of the wire. Finally, the flower can be planted in a pot and filled with plaster. Sprinkle the plaster with soil or ground coffee.

Beaded eustoma is a stunning and very original flower that many people are delighted with.
So, in order to weave such a beautiful plant, you need to stock up on wire and round beads in green, blue, lilac and white colors.

Weaving flower petals

Please note that for one plant you need to weave about five pieces of petals with your own hands. We take a wire, the length of which is 85 centimeters, seven beads and put it on the made axis. The remaining end of the wire must be made in the form of four arcs; to do this, wrap it a couple of times.

The turn of the next arc has come, namely the third turn, and it is important to fasten it to the arc made on the second and lower it down by three beads. After this, it is also recommended to add beads and hook them onto the arc that fell into the second scroll and do this down three beads. We add more beads and eventually complete the turn we started.

The arc that was formed on the fourth circle should be attached to the third; the only important thing here is to reduce the number of beads by one. After this, you should continue assembling beads and hook the wire so that it falls on the arc of the third turn on the other side and is lowered one bead lower.

In the same way, it is necessary to weave 5 more circles, as the master class showed, it is important to remember that the beads are hooked below the arc that was the previous one. The upper rim must be made at 5 and 4 turns from blue beads.

The bud petals should be woven in the same way as for the flower and slightly reduced in size. In this case, measure a thread whose length is 59 cm, put 5 beads on it and make 10 arcs or five turns. For beginners, I would like to note that the eustoma flower needs to weave five petals, as seen in the photo.

Weaving of stamens

During weaving, pay attention to the fact that the stamens should be combined harmoniously with the pistil. We stock up on wire, the length of which is about 35 cm, thus we collect 7 beads and make sure that they are in the central part and create a loop by scrolling a couple of turns.

Next, you need to string four beads onto a piece of wire, then wrap it back into the 3 beads that are located in the loop and pull it tightly. Remember that beading is a delicate and painstaking work.
The wire needs to be twisted about 0.5 centimeters at the end.

Let's start working with the second, longer end and create the second pestle in exactly the same way. Upon completion of the work, connect the ends of the fishing line together at a distance of 1.5-2 centimeters.

To weave stamens, we take and place six beads of the desired color on one of the ends of the wire, not forgetting to make a loop. After that, we take its second part and begin to weave two loops as the diagram shows. Next, you need to take the wire and twist it together. It is important that the loops are perpendicular to the twisted side, and do everything as indicated in the master class.

Sepals

We take a wire, the length of which is 30 cm, and create an axis on which we collect ten beads. A sepal should have one sepal, because beading implies precision and harmony of details. For one eustoma flower you need to weave 5 sepals.

Leaves

We will weave leaves for eustoma from beads of different sizes - large, medium and small. For one flower, two large leaves are needed and they must be woven according to the following pattern: string 27 beads onto a 110-centimeter long wire. After this, you need to make two circles with the working end, and only starting from the third, we begin to create the cloves. The beaded eustoma is almost ready.

Flower assembly

It is not difficult to collect the resulting details into one beautiful bouquet; you just need to attach them all in the right places. Do not forget that the beaded eustoma master class, which was presented above, should have five petals and stamens. After this, we proceed to fastening the sepals. To make the flower look beautiful, you can wind a green thread around the stem.

At the end of the article, we invite you to watch a master class on weaving delicate eustoma with your own hands.

Like many flowers, eustoma is a finicky flower and requires careful care. However, such a flower can not only be grown in the garden, but also created with your own hands from beads and placed at home. My master class on weaving this delicate flower will help you create an eustoma from beads.

  • To weave eustoma from beads we will need:
Beads No. 10 in four colors
Wire with a diameter of 0.3 mm
    Thick wire for the stem
    Threads (floss or iris)
    PVA glue.

You can weave an eustoma from beads in any color you like. For my beaded eustoma, I took white, blue and green beads.

Petals for eustoma made of beads

You need to weave 5 petals for one eustoma flower. We take a wire 85 cm long, make it small and string 7 beads onto the axis. Next, use the working end of the wire to make 4 arcs (2 turns). Now we will attach the arc on the third whorl to the arc of the second whorl, three beads down.

We connect the arc of the fourth whorl to the arc of the third whorl, but already 1 bead lower. Next, we also collect beads onto the wire and hook the wire on the arc of the third turn on the other side, also on the bead below.

We continue to weave in the same way for 5 turns, do not forget to hook the arcs onto the bead below the previous arc. On top of the rim on the 4th and 5th turns we make it blue.

Petals for eustoma bud made of beads

The petals for the bud are woven in the same way as for the flower itself, only the petal for the bud should be smaller in size. For such a petal you need a wire 59 cm long, string 5 beads on the axis and make 10 arcs (5 turns) with the working wire. We weave 3 petals for the eustoma bud.

Stamen for eustoma made of beads

We will weave stamens for eustoma from beads combined with a pestle. We take a wire 35 cm long, string 7 beads, place the beads in the middle of the wire and make a loop by twisting one or two turns.

Then we take 4 beads onto either end of the wire and thread this wire in the opposite direction through the 3 beads in the loop. Let's sip well. Twist the ends of the wire together by about 0.5 cm.

Below we will immediately weave the stamens. We string 6 beads onto either end of the wire and make a loop. At the same end of the wire we make a similar second loop.

Next we weave exactly the same two loops at the other end of the wire. When all 4 loops are made, take the ends of the wire and twist them together, and place the loops perpendicular to the circle of the twisted wire. It looks like a skirt.

Sepals for eustoma made of beads

We make an axis on a wire 30 cm long, put 10 beads on the axis, and weave it with the working end of the wire. We weave the sepal with one clove. For one eusoma flower you need to weave 5 sepals.

Beaded leaves for eustoma

We will weave jagged leaves for eustoma of different sizes - large, medium and small.

We weave 2 large leaves according to the following pattern: wire 110 cm, string 27 beads onto the axis. We make 4 arcs (2 turns) with the working wire, and from the third turn we begin to make teeth. There should be 5 cloves in total in a large leaf.

We weave 4 medium leaves according to the following pattern: 70 cm wire, string 17 beads onto the axis. We make 2 arcs (1 turn) with the working wire, and from the second turn we begin to make teeth. We make 4 cloves in total on the middle leaf.

We weave 8 small leaves according to the following pattern: wire 45 cm, string 17 beads onto the axis. We make 2 arcs (1 turn) with the working wire, and from the second turn we begin to make teeth. The small leaf has only 2 cloves.

Assembling eustoma from beads

We take a petal of eustoma and screw the stamen to it.

After the petals, screw five sepals in a circle. To make the stem of a beaded eustoma more stable, you need to tie a thicker wire to the flower. Then wrap the wire with threads using PVA glue and attach the leaves during the winding process.
