It seems that the story with the “Hamlet reader” from Arbat will still have a happy ending. A boy detained by police while reading a Shakespeare play will be helped to get on the real stage, Children's Rights Commissioner Anna Kuznetsova said.
“After this story, we received a call from people who were ready to help him get on stage and direct his talent in a constructive direction, so that they (poems - IF) would not be above the [donation] box, but where they would actually be recognized” , - Kuznetsova said in an interview with the Rossiya-24 TV channel.

Well, you see, it’s not at all scary to react to current events like a human being, and not like the wooden soldiers of Oorfene Deuce. By the way, after Kurginyanov’s anti-juvenile activists attacked Kuznetsova, I’m taking a closer look at the ombudswoman, and I advise you. Today she met with Putin, and on the eve of the meeting she told TASS an absolutely mind-blowing story about the “Russian Hachiko” and the Kursk “lost” child Vanya Melekhov.

It always seems that such stories only happen in movies, and as a media professional, it’s a shame that they don’t always win the audience they deserve. Because about the same boy from Arbat, yes, everyone knew about him, the entire Moscow media community invested in the fame of the case - and thank God, because law enforcement agencies cannot treat children like that, whether they have a box or not, it doesn’t matter. But troubles with children also happen outside the center of the capital.

Several hundred employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Russian National Guard and the volunteers who joined them searched for three days in the forests near Kursk for a six-year-old boy, Vanya Melekhov. This was not the first time the rural boy had gone on long hikes, so his parents did not immediately sound the alarm. And they were almost too late - when the weakened child was found, it turned out that during these three days he walked as much as 12 kilometers through local forests and fields, ate grass and leaves, and was saved from death only by the dog who warmed the child with his body and tagged along with the traveler.

Of course, locals are the first to know about such incidents. They even put together their own squad of “Melekhovites” search engines, put everyone on the ears - from “Liza Alert” to, in fact, Kuznetsova, and even got hold of a drone somewhere, with which they combed the area. And on the one hand, it’s nice that the children’s ombudsman did not publicize these events, on the other hand, it’s a pity that as many people as possible don’t know about this outstanding happy ending - well, in fact, the media should live not only with the Arbat boy.

And somehow, against all this background, the antics of Mizulina, who finally dropped the banner of “children’s defender,” look completely ugly. In anticipation of Kuznetsova’s report to Putin, the senator even went so far as to criticize TASS, saying that the state news agency was defaming her:
“TASS, instead of giving the real figure that was calculated, which we voiced and for which we are responsible, published in the title of the article the figure that the government “emphasizes” - 3,200 children,” Elena Mizulina emphasized. - We noticed that TASS published an erroneous figure that does not follow from our report. However, the agency has refused to correct its mistake, and I believe this is a deliberate falsification of data to actually hide from the President and the public the real extent of juvenile justice in the country. And those who are engaged in this falsification cover up those who created this juvenile machine.”

Neither the Arbat boy nor Vanya Melekhov are interested in Mizulina. Where was the senator with her scrupulous calculations when departments raced to add zeros to the number of victims of “death groups”, in a matter of weeks accelerating the figure from possible units to undoubted thousands? Oh yes, she led this race.

My advice to you, gentlemen, officials and politicians, is to deal with specific problems and their solutions, and do not invent imaginary worries for yourself and others. Then you won’t have to get on top of each other so that Putin notices you, or blush in front of the president during reports.
