DIY bottle case: how to make an original decoration using different techniques. Decor of objects master class craft product New Year modeling design case removable for the bottle Snow Maiden mini MK cardboard fabric Sew a case with a handle for used

Choice of colors

Good afternoon, my friends!

This case is good because it can be put on other bottles of similar volume.

In this master class I will show you how to make a schematic bottle case. But it looks much more interesting and richer bottle decorated with leather and clay. You can watch a master class on this decor

To work you will need:

  • skin (not very thick);
  • bottle for decoration;
  • glue (for leather or Moment);
  • small buckle;
  • stars.
  • blocks (optional).

I cut out parts for the case from leather, as in the photo below:

  1. Stripe. This will be a belt.
  2. Two identical parts. This will be the shelf and the back.
  3. A rectangle with slightly beveled corners. This will be the collar.

I did not indicate the dimensions, since it all depends on the size of the bottle being decorated. But the guidelines are something like this:

  • The length of the belt is approximately 5-6 cm longer than the volume of the bottle. Width – 3 cm.
  • The length of the strip and back is approximately 2/3 of the height of the bottle. Width, by eye, whichever you like best.
  • The length of the strip for the collar is slightly larger than the volume of the neck, about 0.5 cm. Moreover, this is along the longest side, because (a rectangle with beveled corners) And the width of the rectangle is two collar heights. Because the collar will turn away.

Cutting out the details

I measured a 1 cm wide strip on the top of the shelf and back (as in the photo below). I applied glue.

I applied glue to the back

And in the same way, I applied glue to the long side of the collar. But I did not apply glue to the collar in a continuous stripe, but only at the gluing points, as in the photo below. I waited 5 minutes for the glue to “set”.

I glued one piece in the center of the collar; this will be the back of the cover.

I glued the second part (shelf) like this:

  • I glued half of the shelf to one edge of the collar;
  • I wrapped the other edge of the collar and glued the second half of the shelf to it.

Glue the shelf and back

In the end, it should look like the photo below. This is the front view, i.e. shelf.

Glue it together completely

Now - shoulder straps. I cut out two thin strips of leather - 4 x 1 cm. I folded the strips and glued them together, leaving “tails” 1 cm long. I will then glue these “tails” to the collar.

I attached a star to each shoulder strap.

Of course, such stars are not in every home. But if you have friends who serve or have served in uniform (military, law enforcement, fire department), they probably have such stars. Believe me, over the years of service, deposits of such identification marks are formed.

As a last resort, stars can be made from improvised materials or drawn.

After attaching the stars, I applied glue to the “tails” and glued them to the collar, in the spaces between the front and the back. Once the collar is turned away, the gluing area will not be visible.

I glued the shoulder straps

Now the belt. I coated the strip with glue and folded it as in the photo below. I just folded the edges butt-to-edge. And she pressed everything well.

Glued a strip of leather

Threaded a striped buckle. I made a hole in the strip with an awl and threaded the “tongue” of the buckle into it. I glued the edge of the strip to the back of the belt.

And glued the belt to the shelf.

I also made a strap from a thin strip of leather into which the edge of the belt will be threaded. I didn’t photograph this moment, but it’s a little visible in the final photo.

Glued the belt

All that remains is to make a headdress for our warrior.

I cut a circle out of leather with a diameter 1 cm larger than the bottle cap.

Cut out a circle

And she placed a circle of skin on a dry, hot frying pan. Due to the high temperature, the edges of the skin began to tighten, thereby turning inward. In the photo below, you can even see the smoke.

By the way, buttons are covered with leather in this way.

Place the circle on a heated frying pan

I glued a thin strip of leather to the sides of the resulting “tablet”.

And I attached a star to the strip itself.

The result is not a cap, not a cap, and not even a beret. Just a headdress.

Made a headdress

But it looks quite in keeping with the outfit.

The bottle case is ready

I put a cover on the bottle. She turned up her collar. Threaded the belt through the buckle and into the strap.

Also, I decorated the shelf with blocks. But, if you don’t have them, you can decorate them differently.

For example, sew on small golden buttons. Or make an aiguillette from chains or cord. Well, or something else, depending on your imagination and possibilities.

A gift for a man - a bottle case.

The bottle case is ready! The result was a themed souvenir. For example, on February 23 or May 9.

By the way! I have already done a master class. There was a “highlander” in a leather cloak and a fur hat.

This is how you can make a gift for a man with your own hands. A minimum of materials and a couple of hours of your time.

Friends, if you found my master class useful, share it with your friends!

On hot days you can’t do without water, and it’s good when you can drink from a well or buy drinking water in a supermarket. But what if you went for a walk in the park, went on an excursion, or are on a bus and the stop is not soon? Of course, take water with you; it is most convenient to pack the bottle in a special handbag.

Bright sewn or knitted by mother's caring hands, it will be especially useful for preschoolers and older children during the summer holidays, school trips and sports activities.

For the simplest frame model, you will need approximately 1.5 meters of dense braid about 2 cm wide. To correctly calculate the amount of material, we will take measurements with a sewing measuring tape: the circumference of the bottle at the widest point at the top and bottom, and also, from the top measurement, the circumference at height through the bottom.

Cut pieces of braid equal to these measurements, plus 1.5 cm for overlap. We will sew two girth rings in width, sew a vertical braid to them, cutting them to length after fitting. The bottle is perfectly fixed, and the packaging is almost weightless.

The Quiltik craftswoman from the Crafts Fair offers to combine beauty with the recycling of rags. This cover consists of three layers: an outer one, sewn using a patchwork technique, a synthetic padding/foam rubber lining, and an inner one made of finishing fabric. The layers need to be fastened together and quilted, sewn to the round bottom, and the top edge tucked in.

Then stitch the top and insert a round braid or lace to tighten the top. The bottom is equal to the diameter of the bottle (the size at the widest point) plus the seam allowance, the height of the handbag is equal to the height of the bottle plus the seam and hem allowance. We'll sew a handle onto the finished case; it's great if the length can be changed, like a regular bag, using metal fittings.

Foamiran is perfect for a handbag - durable, light, bright material. We cut it directly on the bottle using the modeling method, cut out the bottom, and make cuts on the vertical part from the bottom so that the material easily follows the shape of the container. We sew the parts together with bright braid or thick synthetic thread. We will weave a handle from several multi-colored cords. Decorate the outside of the case with an applique or draw a picture with a permanent marker.

Knitters can also show their imagination and knit a handbag in the style of an amigurumi toy or just an openwork one. The set for a baby bottle and a bag for all sorts of baby little things looks beautiful. The container can be inserted from above or from the side by making a special cut with a zipper, like a pencil case. By the way, this pencil case can also simultaneously serve as a toy.

For work, use light, durable yarn, preferably cotton or acrylic. You will need very little thread, no more than 100 g, just the right idea for using small balls. You can knit not only with crochet, but also with knitting needles, and you can make trim with crochet. It’s nice to take such a beautiful accessory with you, now your baby will definitely not forget a bottle of water at home.

A beautiful knitted bottle cover will change it beyond recognition.

After this master class, you will no longer be indifferent to glass packaging. This decor will transform a boring container, turning it into a flower vase or gift. Kids will be happy to drink healthy drinks from such a bottle, be it juice or milk. All that remains is to figure out how to tie a bottle with knitting needles in order to get a beautiful result with your own hands quickly and with maximum pleasure.

Craft materials

To create a knitted bottle cover you will need:

  • acrylic threads of two colors,
  • knitting needles (No. 2),
  • scissors,
  • threads,
  • centimeter and needle.

And, of course, the bottle itself, in this master class we used baby juice containers.

To beautifully tie a bottle, you can use leftover yarn left over from knitting clothes, or unnecessary things, for example, you can unravel a boring sweater or cardigan for a new cover.

Master class on knitting a cover

Carefully study the instructions on how to knit a bottle case with your own hands, and then get to work, following the photo in the knitting process.

Measure the bottle with a centimeter to correctly calculate the number of loops. Depending on the thickness of the thread, it will be different (here it turned out to be about 3 loops per 1 cm). The presented design of the canvas makes it possible not to change their number, but at the same time the cover will fit according to the “shape” of the bottle.

Cast on 48 loops plus 2 edge stitches with pink thread (the circumference of the widest part of the bottle is 17 cm) using any method known to you.

Knit 22 rows with a double elastic band (front row: 2 knit and 2 purl, purl - according to the drawing, but essentially the same 2 knit and 2 purl in a different order).

Now start creating a diagonal braid, for which you switch to a beige thread, which you tie tightly to the leading pink one.

Turning the cover back and forth, knit 8 rows to form an even column, with the front row being the last.

Knit 3 more knit stitches.

Unfold the fabric again and make 6 purl loops so that there are 3 left on the second needle (they are no longer involved in the diagonal braid pattern).

Knit a stitch similar to the first one in 8 rows, and on the last knit stitch, pick up the next 3 loops.

Thus, constantly turning the future bottle cover and repeating the stitches, knit a diagonal braid.

Return to the pink thread, tying it to the leading beige thread (do not cut the ends too close to the knot, as acrylic is quite slippery and there is a good chance that the threads will come undone under the tension).

Knit 28 rows, then repeat the diagonal braid without changing the color of the thread (if you wish, you can switch to beige again). At the last stage, make 5 rows in garter stitch and bind off the fabric (knit 2 loops together, return the resulting loop back, knit 2 together again and repeat until the end of the row).

Sew the knitted cover with neat stitches, turning it inside out.

Now braid a braid using threads of two colors, securing both ends with knots, and weave the cover through the holes that formed in the diagonal braid. This will decorate the product and make it more interesting.

The work is ready! You can admire it, use it for its intended purpose, or wrap it as a gift.

A step-by-step tutorial on how to knit a cover for a glass bottle with your own hands was prepared by Yulia Kosich, photo by the author. Especially for the online magazine “Women’s Hobbies”.

According to tradition, some kind of alcoholic drink must be present on the festive table. It can become a real themed decoration if you make a bottle case quickly and easily with your own hands. Such an accessory would also be appropriate if alcohol is presented as a gift for any holiday.

Making New Year's bottle covers with your own hands using a step-by-step MK

New Year is one of the most favorite holidays in our country; on this day, a table is always set in every home. The highlight of the serving can be a bottle of champagne, decorated with a themed cover.

The monkey is one of the brightest symbols of the eastern calendar. On the occasion of the arrival of her year, you can sew a cover in the shape of a banana with a monkey on a bottle of champagne.

To sew it you will need materials:

  • yellow and brown felt;
  • needle and thread;
  • scissors.

The base of the case will be made in the shape of a banana. From yellow felt we cut out the parts according to the pattern given below.

We sew the parts in the direction from the handle to the tip, but do not complete the seam, leaving a hole so that our banana fits freely onto the bottle.

Using the following pattern, we cut out the parts for sewing the monkey.

We sew the parts together, cut off a longer strip for the tail, and wrap it around a banana stalk. The tail can be additionally secured with a glue gun or carefully sewn on. Ready.

This case will become a bright and symbolic decoration for the New Year's table or an original decoration for a gift.

Santa Claus is one of the most popular symbols of the New Year; a bottle on the table, decorated with this character, will come in handy.

You can sew such a cover in literally half an hour. For it you will need red and white felt, scissors, thread and a needle or glue gun.

Using the pattern below, we cut out the details of the fur coat and hat. We sew it with thread and a needle or fix it with a glue gun.

Ready! In this simple and quick way you can create a symbolic bottle case with your own hands.

Knitting enthusiasts can also use their favorite hobby to knit a beautiful, cozy bottle cover.

The easiest way is to knit a rectangle equal in height to the bottle and sew it with a mattress stitch (no need to knit the bottom). You can also knit in the round on stocking needles. Knitted covers made using the jacquard technique look especially beautiful.

On February 23, the bottle can also be decorated with an original cover; such a design will look especially symbolic if its theme is related to the occupation of the man to whom the gift will be presented.

For example, for someone who served in the airborne troops, you can crochet a cover in a couple of hours, as in the photo.

It will require dark green, blue, blue, white, yellow yarn and a hook.

  1. We collect a chain of air loops equal to the diameter of the bottom of the bottle. We connect in a ring, knit in a circle with double crochets. As we work, we apply the product to the bottle in order to make timely reductions.
  2. Having reached the neck, for the collar we knit several rows in straight and reverse rows.
  3. From white and blue yarn we knit a small triangle in strips - a vest, and carefully sew it between the collar lapels.
  4. We will knit a beret from blue yarn.
  5. Let's add military attributes from yellow and red yarn.

Such an unusual design will make the gift not only beautiful, but also very symbolic!

For any military man or man who served in the army, you can sew a simple but effective cover from camouflage fabric.

It will require a small piece of khaki fabric, braid, red rag, scissors, and thread.

  1. We measure the width and height of the bottle, cut out a rectangle from camouflage fabric with the following dimensions: bottle width + 4 cm, two bottle lengths + 5 cm.
  2. Cut out a star-shaped applique from red fabric. Sew it to the cut out rectangle of fabric (so that it is in the middle of the front part).
  3. We make the side seams of the cover.
  4. We hem the top so that there is a small hole left for the braid.
  5. Turn it inside out and thread the tape through.

The case is ready, it will definitely not leave any military man indifferent!

A selection of videos on the topic of the article

You can get acquainted with other ideas and techniques for creating various holiday bottle covers by watching these videos.

For everyone who is interested in how I made bottle covers, I present my mini MK. The photos are working, I took them for myself so as not to forget this year))). But I made so many of them that I probably won’t forget. I have already changed something, simplified it, but this is more about decorations, the essence remains.
It all started with the fact that one of my friends really liked bottles braided with ribbons. But she was sorry that after using them she would have to throw them away. She asked to make removable clothes for the New Year.
I really liked Elena Konapleva’s bottles. http://konek.gallery.ru/watch?ph=bF70-fbVTN. And since I couldn’t find MK by hand, and I don’t know how to draw faces so beautifully, I had to invent it myself.

This is the Snow Maiden I invented. And I'll show you how I did it.

For this I needed: A4 sheet of cardboard, padding polyester, white fleece, floral wire (for handles), curtain fabric, bias tape, braid, scissors, thread, Titanium glue, hot glue.

For the handles I use floral wire. Thickness doesn't matter. With the middle of the wire I “hug” the bottle at the future location of the handles. The ends of the wire are about 2-3cm. I also bend it, making the ends - loops. I wrap each handle with a long strip of padding polyester and secure it with thread. I glued fleece mittens to the ends.

The sleeves were sewn on a typewriter. Size "by eye" according to the length of the handles.

Another detail is the skirt. I made a long skirt for this Snow Maiden. I liked the shorter skirt better. I cut a circle out of fabric and cut a circle in the middle to fit the size of the bottle. I stitched the outside of the circle with bias tape.

Important! The beautiful side of the cardboard is facing inward. It can be seen in the finished product.

There is no special pattern for the dress. I tried to make it in two parts, but I didn’t like the seam. I settled on a rectangle. I cut off the excess as I went. Size - slightly larger than A4. I pasted a piece of fabric over a cardboard case on the Titan. I didn’t wait for it to dry because you only need a little glue to avoid stains through the fabric.
Next I glued it with hot glue. First the skirt, then the arms: by the armpits, then I grabbed it with glue from above along the bare wire. At the top, one strip of white fleece formed a collar that merged into the front placket. I used fleece to make the edging at the bottom of the dress and the bottom of the sleeves.

The hat is also made of fleece. The strip was glued in a circle around the neck of the bottle, inside out. I glued a circle of fabric on top. There are two braids on the sides. The braids were woven from white yarn. I turned it inside out and glued the decor.
