Crocheted stroller cover. Crochet stroller

For men

Despite the apparent complexity of the design of such a stroller, even a novice needlewoman can knit it. In addition to being a cute decorative item, a stroller can be a toy for your child, a gift for the birth of a baby, or a way to give a monetary gift for the same reason. To work you will need thin cotton yarn, a hook, starch, satin ribbons and beads.

In this master class, yarn with parameters 50/240m was used. The length of the finished work is about 13 cm. Not everyone will undertake to knit from such a thin thread, because “jewelry” work requires eye strain and much more time to complete. You can use yarn of greater thickness, then the product will be larger.

The stroller consists of two elements of the main part, wheels and decoration. The basis of knitting the bottom and sides of the stroller is the principle of making booties.

1. We start knitting from the bottom of the stroller. For this I used a knitting pattern for an oval insole for children's shoes. For greater density, the rows were knitted with single crochets.

2. The next step is to make a row of lifting for further knitting of the sides. By placing the hook behind the front half-loop of the base, we knit a row of single crochets. The result is an edging perpendicular to the base.

3. Next, we begin to knit with the main pattern. It can be anything - more dense or openwork, at your discretion. I chose laconic “checkmarks” made from double crochets with a single base, knitted through three base loops and separated by a chain loop.

The “checkmarks” of the next row of this pattern are knitted by inserting the hook into the center of the checkmarks of the previous row.

4. In this way we knit the sides to the desired height. I got 5 rows. We make three lifting loops and knit another row with fillet net - simple double crochets through three base loops. We will later thread a satin ribbon through these posts.

You get such a stable boat.

5. We begin knitting the upper part of the stroller. To do this, we close 7 air loops in a ring.

6. In the fourth loop from the hook we knit 8 double crochets. It turns out to be such a fan-semicircle.

8. Then lush columns in each arch of the previous row. separated by two air loops.

9. We knit two double crochets with a single tip, one of which is in the near arch of the previous row, and the second in the next. There are three air loops between these elements.

10. We knit 4 double crochets into each top of the previous row.

11. In each gap of the previous row we knit lush columns, between which we make 4 air loops.

12. Continue knitting with the main pattern to the desired depth of the stroller dome. In the final row we again knit the mesh for decoration with a satin ribbon. We sew the resulting element to the base from the inside, or tie it with a hook using connecting posts.

13. We knit the wheels according to the principle of knitting a circle, making uniform increases. I got these round pieces.

We starch the wheels and the main part, trying to give it the desired shape of the future product using improvised means. We sew the wheels, or use a glue gun. We decorate the stroller at our discretion. I stretched satin ribbon along the side and dome, and sewed a bow of two colors of ribbon under the back openwork part of the stroller.

Choosing yarn

When choosing yarn, you need to think about what characteristics it should have. Since the cradle must have some, at least minimal, rigidity, the yarn should be selected accordingly. It is important that it can be washed without fading, otherwise after the first wash you risk ruining such an unusual creation.

Pay attention to the knitted tape yarn. It will give the product the necessary rigidity and you will not have any problems caring for it. As for the color scheme, there are no limits to your imagination. Experiment and choose the options you like.

Diagram and description

Let's assume you've chosen ribbon yarn. You will need 6 skeins, as well as a hook of a size suitable for the thickness of the thread.

IMPORTANT. The number of the hook suitable for the thread is indicated by the yarn manufacturer on the packaging.

To make the bottom of the cradle rigid, make its base out of plywood. It is necessary to make holes along the entire perimeter at an even distance from each other.

When the product is assembled, its edge can be tied with lace, which can also be crocheted.

Crocheted stroller cover - the work of Diana from Seversk. Diana writes that she once bought a doll stroller for her baby. But since the quality now leaves much to be desired, after a couple of weeks she had to redo the stroller with her own hands.

Material: hook No. 3; yarn for the main work of two colors, suitable shades. For the bottom I took the remains of threads that would no longer go anywhere and plywood.

I found thin plywood that is nailed to the back of furniture and cut out the bottom using the original cardboard. Then I tied it, it turned out to be a bag into which I inserted the part and sewed it along the edge. I cast on the required number of chain stitches and knitted in the round using single crochets.

  • Children's hats, without adult models

Then I knitted 12 squares according to this pattern:

She connected them together and closed them in a circle.

I tied it with single crochets from the top and bottom: three rows of light yarn, two rows of dark, three light. I sewed it to the finished bottom - the box was ready.

The hood consists of two parts, which are knitted according to the same principle. For them, we cast on 94 air loops, knit with double crochets, gradually decreasing one double crochet on both sides in each row until there are 64-21 cm left (on the second part we decrease by 2 double crochets on both sides in each row until there are 64 - 19 cm left). These parts are sewn along the entire length (the side where we received 64 double crochets). Where the length of 19 cm is sewn to the box, and 21 cm is sewn from the top of the metal body of the first rod. Along the seam on the wear side we fasten the second rod along the metal body. The ears, which are formed when the parts are sewn together, are attached to the second rod of the body, thereby closing it and at the same time securing the body. The stroller turned out to be deeper and stronger than the store bought one. The baby plays with pleasure.
