White eyeliner: a radical change of image! Makeup with eyeliner A charming attraction for stylish and sensual girls.

To mom

Unfortunately, not all girls have the ideal almond-shaped eyes, but this is very easy to fix. All you have to do is draw the right arrows that suit your particular face type, and your eyes will immediately transform.

And with the help of golden or white eyeliner, brown eyes will be transformed, becoming more expressive, and the look will acquire a special radiance and shine. With this makeup, you can go both on a date and to a club, filling your albums with colorful photos.

Practice with a pencil, improving the quality of strokes and lines

Liquid eyeliner is the most striking eyeliner, but also the most difficult. Therefore, you should learn to draw even and confident arrows with a pencil.

They outline the contour, and only after that you can start covering the eyelid with eyeliner. In order to learn how to draw straight lines, you can practice drawing them on paper, then on your wrist, and then on your eyelid.

Drawing arrows with eyeliner is a very difficult process, so it is best to start practicing with a pencil. It must be firm, but at the same time easy to draw lines, and also sharp.

Otherwise, the lines will turn out thick and smeared. And this should not be allowed under any circumstances.

A charming attraction for stylish and sensual girls

Using a pencil, draw a thin line beyond the outer corner of the eye, and then with small strokes add a black stripe along the line of eyelash growth. Next, the pencil is covered with eyeliner, and the arrow looks smooth and beautiful.

We complement the look with copper or light brown shadows, which perfectly highlight brown eyes, or any other – natural and discreet. We work the shadows along the moving eyelid to the crease.

Using a flat synthetic brush, pick up a little pencil and apply a black tone to the outer corner of the outer eyelid. We apply a soft scarlet shade of gloss to our lips and complete our makeup with one or two layers of mascara applied to the eyelashes.

Makeup without makeup in just 2 minutes

If you have absolutely no time for makeup, you can do a simplified version in 2 minutes. To do this, place a black pencil on a flat synthetic brush. With a brush, the eyelash line of the moving eyelid is painted, both external and aqueous.

This small touch will add expressiveness to your look, and your eyelashes will look thick and colorful. Then add a little mascara and gloss to the lips. You can add freshness to your look using a highlighter or white eye shadow applied to the inner corner of the eye.

Option for a clear line without marking with a pencil outline

Using a thin brush, place several dots on the upper eyelid in the space between the eyelashes and outline the tail of the arrow. And we draw a thin line, connecting the points as close as possible to the eyelash growth line. After the eyeliner is spread over the entire eyelid and all lines are connected, you should wait until it dries completely.

And to ensure that the process of applying and drying does not take too long, you should not put a large amount of paint on the brush. You should also make sure that there are no lumps on the brush. If there are any, the brush can be cleaned by lightly wiping it with a dry cloth.

Advice: “You shouldn’t paint the lower eyelid with liquid eyeliner if it’s not oriental or smokey makeup. You can emphasize the expressiveness of your eyes using a black pencil, distributed in the outer corner of the eye with a synthetic brush.”

Gel eyeliner makes it easy to line up

Drawing arrows using gel eyeliner is much easier and more convenient. And it dries an order of magnitude faster than liquid. This eyeliner perfectly sets off warm green and brown eyes, as well as cold blue, gray and light blue eyes with a variety of shades. Makeup with such eyeliner looks great in photos without creating glare.

Advice: “It’s worth remembering one secret. When drawing arrows using eyeliner, you should never close your eyes. When drawing a line with the eyelid closed, a gap is formed in the skin.”

Unlike liquid eyeliner, with the help of gel eyeliner you can draw the lines of the lower eyelid, drawing an additional, thinner and smaller arrow. Her ponytail should always point upward, otherwise her eyes will look sad.

Princess image with a flirty look for a photo

We draw a line with gel eyeliner on the moving eyelid, drawing a tail flying up. Next, in the same way, draw a line from the middle of the lower eyelid to the outer corner of the eye. Next, a thin tail emerges from it, slightly rising and running parallel to the upper one.

Tip: “Always start your stroke with a thin line, as you can always draw a thicker stripe from it.”

Owners of cool eye shades can complement the look by applying cool blue shadows that are so fashionable this season. Brown eyes can be emphasized using pastel natural shades of eyeshadow, ranging from brown eyeshadow to soft peach tones or beige.

While we typically associate eyeliner with dark smoky or elfin looks, lately it seems like liners and pencils in this color have stopped playing extras and have become stars.

In fact, white color in makeup was underestimated, because it can be found in many interesting applications in everyday and evening looks. Here are some ideas to freshen up your eye makeup this spring. (Hint: White eyeliner is also appropriate.)

White pencil eyeliner: news from the catwalks

How is it that white eyeliners have dramatically changed their function as a “highlighter” or “secondary lightener” and become a staple in eye makeup? Of course, it all started on the runway: at Stella McCartney's fall 2016 show, makeup artist Pat McGrath was able to create an angelic effect on models' faces with ivory kohl blended into the inner corners of the eyes.

Pat McGrath managed to create a universal touch that is suitable for all photo types - of course, this predetermined the success of the trend! It was echoed by makeup artist Francelle Daly, who suggested using a soft white eyeliner and pencil on the lower lashes to give the look a "calm, cool effect."

White eyeliner: photos for inspiring ideas

There's no doubt that white eyeliner is the hottest trend of the season. This spring, an army of white liners from a wide variety of brands is advancing on all fronts and predicting a revolution: white eyeliner is becoming a staple in the makeup bag. But what works on the catwalk doesn't always work on the street. So what can alabaster eyeliner do in real life? To demystify this device, let's try to apply it in different ways, using life hacks from top makeup artists.

5 Ways to Apply White Eyeliner

White color is good because it has a lot of shades and subtle nuances - milky, snowy, blue, transparent, bright... This determines the versatility of white eyeliner - you can choose any shade to suit your color type and use it the way makeup artists suggest .

  1. Upgrade of "cat shooters". Try replacing the black liquid liner with just white. To emphasize the depth of the look, the arrow can be drawn with a corner, bringing the line almost to the middle of the lower eyelid. In this case, the eyelashes on the lower eyelid are not painted over, and it is also not recommended to focus on the eyebrows. However, you can also draw a thin white line on the top of the black frog to freshen up your bow. In addition, the fashion for makeup with white and black eyeliner.
  2. Pop effect with a play of color. Have you always dreamed of playing with shades? Use a white soft pencil or powder eyeliner as a base for the eyelids - this will help make the eyeshadow colors brighter or more saturated. Or you can simply wear white eyeliner alone, without mixing it with anything else.
  3. Freshness and uplift. Blend a soft white color directly onto the arch of your brows for a simple trick that will help add a light, fresh look to your entire face.
  4. Lightening the eyelids. Eyelids completely saturated with white are a great way to create a feeling of airiness and purity on the face.
  5. Fake eight hours of sleep. A white pencil allows you to instantly get rid of the creepy red color that we try to get out of sight when we don’t get enough sleep. Many stylists love using white eyeliner on the waterline (the area of the inner lower eyelid): it's a miraculous pick-me-up with instant action. This application of white pencil provides an excellent refreshing effect that even eye whitening drops cannot achieve.

Bonus. You can use a white liner to line your lower eyelid line - this will have a stunning effect if you decide to go out with bright red lips. Speaking of lips, you can use a white liner before applying more than just any colored eyeshadow: Because a white base intensifies subsequent layers of color, it can also brighten your lips—just use it on your lips instead of your eyelids. White kohl also helps other makeup products last better and longer.

Makeup with white eyeliner

Eyeliner with a white pencil is a rather radical way that can change your image by 180 degrees. Well, to ensure that these changes are only for the better, we offer you several master classes and looks for “trying on” the image.

At the same time, eyeliner with a white pencil is a fairly simple task, especially for those who have already mastered master classes with ordinary black or colored liners: in this case, you can even play with colors by drawing triple arrows.

Important. To highlight the area under the eyes, white eyeliner should be applied without fanaticism - in this case, it is shaded little by little, very carefully, so as not to turn into a “panda”. You can first learn to simply shade the white pencil in order to catch the moment when the color simply lightens a little, and does not “whiten” the skin.

In this master class we will create a very interesting version of smokey eye makeup - makeup with white eyeliner. In addition to the fact that the makeup will be predominantly in black tones, we will complement it with a white arrow, which transforms the makeup into a very creative one.

For white eyeliner makeup you will need:

  • taupe eyeliner;
  • pink and black shadows;
  • black and white eyeliner;
  • white shadows;
  • mascara;
  • black kajal;
  • brushes

Step-by-step smokey eye makeup tutorial with white eyeliner:

1) For neat and clean makeup, you need to prepare the skin of the eyelids. Clean and apply the eyeshadow base. After the base is completely absorbed, apply a thin layer of tone and set it with powder. This will ensure the durability of the makeup and the quality of the shadows. Before applying dry textures, be sure to cover the skin with powder or shadows.

Draw on a beautiful eyebrow. Since the emphasis will be on the eyes, you can choose the saturation of the eyebrows yourself.

2) Eye makeup will be done using a pencil. We completely cover the upper and lower eyelids. We connect them in a petal, the corner of which will be slightly higher than the outer corner of the eye.

3) Now the texture of the lower and upper eyelids needs to be made uniform and the boundaries of the pencil shaded.

Naturally, shading will increase the shape by several millimeters.

4) Cover the shade with powder or shadow so that the base color is well applied.

5) Cover the shading of the pencil with pink shadows. At the same time, we hold the brush at an angle and direct it to the temple. We blend the lower eyelid towards the ear. You can choose absolutely any shade color, since a smokey eye with a white arrow will look harmonious in any shade.

6) In order to make the eyelid more voluminous, apply a very thin layer of white shadow to the area under the eyebrow and corner of the eye. It is necessary to shade the white and pink colors to create a smooth transition. If necessary, you can additionally apply pink color to the shading.

7) Completely cover the entire area where the pencil is visible with black. Since the substrate has a sticky texture, it will be very convenient to apply several layers so that the coating is very dense.

8) In the same way as we extinguished the pink color, apply black shadows and mix pink and black shades with each other. There should be a light haze.

9) Let's start working with arrows. First, let's draw a white arrow, which will serve as a background for the black one. Accordingly, the white arrow will be twice as thick as the black one.

Draw the tail of a white arrow from the outer corner of the eye. The tail will be directed towards the temple and continue the curve of the lower eyelid.

10) We draw an arrow from the inner corner and gradually thicken it, connecting it to the tail. The direction of the arrow's tail will coincide with the direction of shading with shadows.

11) After the white eyeliner has dried, draw a black arrow on top of it, which will be twice as thin. We get a very beautiful 3D effect.

This is an original decision to replace the traditional black eyeliner with a radically opposite white color. Previously, I saw photos of models with white eyeliner and considered such makeup to be completely runway - it looked very unusual. But I changed my mind when Mary Kay offered a white gel eyeliner with the beautiful name “White Daisy” in its new products for spring 2014. I decided to try it, and I don’t regret it at all....

I am already familiar with the quality of Mary Kay gel eyeliner; I have the same turquoise eyeliner, which I really love. The eyeliner reminds me of a cream rather than a gel. It is packaged in a small glass jar and comes with a very convenient brush that can be used to draw both thin and wide arrows, depending on which side of the brush you paint with.

To be honest, I am not comfortable with other types of eyeliner; liquid eyeliners and felt-tip pens require special care and skill. And it’s very convenient to draw with gel eyeliner and you’ll probably succeed even for those who, like me, don’t know how to do it

I would also like to note that with white eyeliner, due to its bright and catchy color, there is a greater chance of touching your eyelashes. I tried to draw both after applying mascara and before - you still need to be careful in this matter, because mascara does not cover the white “smears” well.

The eyeliner glides over the skin easily, but dries within a few seconds and it will be very difficult to adjust the line. Therefore, we draw quickly and close the jar so that it does not dry out in the jar. I've had the turquoise one for over a year and it hasn't dried out yet. It is also very durable, the color does not fade during the day and the volume of 4.5 g will last for a very long time.

There are many options for using eyeliner, so far I have tried the following options:

In the first version, in tandem with cream shadows. The second option is turquoise + white eyeliner. The third option is only white eyeliner. And the fourth option is with baked shadows.

I prefer it not as a stand-alone product, but in combination with something else.

I will try other options and maybe post more photos.

In any case, white eyeliner perfectly refreshes the look and gives a good summer mood:

To determine where your eyes are located, place your thumb and index finger in the outer and inner corners, respectively, and record this distance. Next, move them to the inner corners of both eyes without changing the width. Ideally, the distance between the inner corners of the eyes should correspond to the width of the eye itself. If the distance is greater, then you have wide-set eyes, if less, then you have narrow-set eyes.

When you want to make your eyes bigger, white eyeliner along the inner line of the eyelid will help achieve the desired result. Some makeup artists also use the technique with white eyeliner in the classic version of smoky eyes: line the inner line under the eyelashes on the upper eyelid with a white pencil, and follow the remaining steps according to the classics.

White eyeliner made with a pencil can also serve as a good base under the eye. Firstly, it will add more oomph to the shadows and also make them more durable. The technique is simple: apply a white pencil to a lightly powdered eyelid and blend it well. Next, do your makeup in the way that is familiar to you.

Some makeup artists use white eyeliner to highlight the area under the eyes. But here you need to be very careful not to become a panda. Try first to simply learn how to shade a white pencil in order to “catch” the moment when the color is simply lightened a little, rather than drawn with white. Naturally, this technique is only suitable for fair-skinned girls.
